The technique the shadow clone had just used, Water Release: Water Severing Wave, was an A-rank technique with considerable power.

Meanwhile, the wolf, who was still mid-air after dodging the last flaming dragon head, suddenly felt a surge of heat radiating from its right side.
It turned its head, only to see a stream of yellow-white fire with astonishingly high temperature coming toward it.
But the wolf's eye showed no panic or alarm.
It simply opened its mouth and shot a beam of icy-blue energy that froze the ground below as it traveled toward the incoming stream of fire.
At the next moment, the icy-blue energy beam and the stream of yellow-white fire collided in the air.
BOOOOOOM!!
The moment the chilling icy-blue beam and the searing stream of fire collided, the hot and cold energy reacted violently with each other, resulting in an explosion.
A powerful shockwave swept through the area, causing the nearby trees to shake. A few smaller trees were even uprooted right away before intense fire and icy energy made contact with them.
The ground was cracked, and dust rose in the air, obscuring the vision of both Seimei's shadow clone and the white wolf.
But the shadow clone could pinpoint the exact location of the white wolf chakra beast. After all, it did possess Tenseigan's X-ray vision to see through most obstacles.
Next, the shadow clone pointed his left hand at the wolf and channeled Wind Release chakra around it.
Wind Release: Wind Cutter Technique
A three-meter-long, sharp, and deadly wind blade formed in front of the shadow clone's outstretched left hand and was shot toward the unsuspecting wolf.

The chakra the wolf had released converged around it, forming no less than fifteen spears of chilling ice, each one at least as thick as an arm and a meter long.
The chakra beast had already locked into the shadow clone's location.
