Amidst the destruction and the sea of lightning, Seimei stood unharmed and unmoved.
In the dark, windy night, the violent lightning arcs surrounding Seimei illuminated the area around Seimei with bright and majestic purple light.
The sheer visual effect of the captivating scene, coupled with destruction, made the A-rank goblin lord take a step back subconsciously.
Although it was still brimming with rage, a seed of fear took root in its heart.
The goblin lord didn't expect that this human, a member of a race it had always considered to be weak and inferior, would possess such destructive power.
But it wasn't going to give up.
Giving up meant death, after all.
As long as it drew breath, it would fight. Even if the goblin lord were afraid of the power displayed by Seimei, it would still fight. That way, there would be a chance of survival, no matter how slim it might be.
This was the law of the jungle—the survival of the fittest.
So, it quickly regained control of its state of mind and began to formulate the best way to kill the enemy in front of it.
Meanwhile, Seimei, who was only twenty meters away from the goblin lord, narrowed his eyes.
"The playtime is over. It's time to send you on your way."
As soon as Seimei's words fell, the lightning arcs around him disappeared, and he dashed forward at a blinding speed.

The goblin screeched, and a series of massive stone spears immediately emerged from the ground in front of Seimei. If Seimei couldn't control his speed and stop in time, these suddenly erupting spears would surely pierce through Seimei's body.

Now that Seimei was in the air, the goblin lord let out a malicious, bloodthirsty grin.

A gust of high-speed wind suddenly burst out of Seimei's palm. And Seimei used the sudden burst of wind generated by the Gale Palm Jutsu to change his direction mid-air, allowing him to dodge all five incoming projectiles with ease.
At the next moment, Seimei landed on the ground and stretched his left palm toward the goblin lord.
Water Release: Water Burst Bullet
Water droplets suddenly appeared around Seimei. In the blink of an eye, the condensed water droplets suddenly converged in front of Seimei's outstretched left palm and formed a basketball-sized waterball.
"Let's see how you deal with this," Seimei muttered before he launched the waterball toward the goblin lord.
Bang!
The waterball flew at the goblin lord with a force equivalent to a cannonball, causing the green-skinned creature's eyes to widen in horror.
To protect itself, it hastily channeled chakra into the ground to activate one of its few defensive skills.
Innate Skill: Earth Guard
The ground before the goblin lord squirmed before a thick wall made of solid earth, which was four meters tall and five meters wide, rose up from that very spot to protect the goblin lord from the incoming cannonball-like waterball.
Even though the innate skill was activated in haste, it was still pretty solid, enough to block even a low-tier B-rank Fire Release Ninjutsu of powerful destructive capabilities.
Plus, it was widely known that Water Release techniques were inherently weak against the Earth Release techniques.
No one taught this to the goblin lord. He learned it the hard way after battling countless other chakra beasts over the decades.
Thinking of this, the goblin lord sighed in relief and prepared to activate its innate skill related to quick movement once again while forming a new plan to hinder, restrict, and kill the despicable white-haired human brat.
Seeing this, Seimei just chuckled coldly. He understood what the goblin lord was planning.
Are you trying to block the waterball with that earth wall and retreat before launching even more vicious attacks on me?
Your plan is good. But do you think I have just thrown a harmless waterball at you?
Seimei thought inwardly.
And right at that moment, the waterball slammed onto the earth wall erected by the goblin lord, causing several cracks to appear on the wall because of the sheer force behind the waterball.
But the wall didn't shatter.
That was within its expectations. The goblin lord, who was already preparing to retreat, smiled after seeing the scene before it.
But on the other side, Seimei smiled widely as well.
Because the waterball wasn't dispersed after hitting the earth wall set up by the goblin lord.
Instead, the waterball pulsed a couple of times before exploding with a tremendous force as intense as the combined power of multiple hand grenades.
BOOOOOOOM!!
The resulting shockwave directly shattered the already cracked earthen wall before the powerful pulses of water hit the goblin lord at point-blank range, which sent it flying backward.
The goblin lord, taking the full brunt of the explosive shockwave, was now lying on the ground, battered and bloodied.
The explosion of the waterball was so sudden and unexpected that it didn't even have the time to use its defensive skills to harden its body.
Its bones, including the ribs, were broken, directly puncturing its lungs. Several of its internal organs were ruptured and displaced. Severe internal bleeding caused its lungs and internal cavities to be filled with blood.
Now, it didn't even have the energy or ability to move its body. With this level of fatal injuries, the goblin lord knew that it would surely die within a few breaths.
Yet, sensing death approaching, it didn't struggle and chose to accept it.
As a creature that grew to the point of being an A-rank chakra beast from the very bottom, it knew that it would also die one day.
Whether at the claws of a stronger opponent or in the embrace of the rivers of time, death was inevitable.
At least, it struggled with all its might.

Hearing the sound of footsteps approaching, it turned its head toward the source of the sound with considerable effort.
With its hazy, yellow eyes, it saw the enemy, the white-haired human responsible for its current state, walking toward it with a blade in his right hand.

It didn't struggle. It just let out a sound.
But Seimei didn't speak goblin, so he had no idea what the heck it just said.
But he didn't take any other action. He didn't need to. From the goblin lord's state, he was sure that it would die within a few seconds.
"At least, I will let you die peacefully without any interruption."
The goblin lord also didn't understand what the human in front of him said. But it didn't dwell on it.
Instead, it turned its head again to gaze at the night sky covered in dark clouds.
Slowly, it let out its last breath before its soul forever departed from the mortal world to the Pure Land.
Seeing this, Seimei quietly collected its corpse and stored it inside one of his sealing scrolls. Konoha's intelligence department might be able to uncover something by having the Yamanaka clan ninjas invade the dead goblin lord's mind.
After doing that, Seimei looked toward Haneda and Touma.
"It seems they will be able to finish the remaining goblin within a minute or two."
"No need for me to intervene. Once they are done, we will search the hideout and grab whatever we find."
