"My name is Seiichiro Sakata. I use Sound Breathing."
Seiichiro Sakata had long black hair tied in a ponytail, resembling a wandering swordsman. He was considerably shorter and less muscular than Tengen Uzui, the Sound Hashira.
"I'm Kenta Inoue. I use Water Breathing," Kenta Inoue said, adjusting his glasses.
Kenta Inoue wore round glasses and had a scholarly appearance, making it hard to imagine him as a demon slayer.
His nearsightedness hadn't stopped him, but Ryuji wondered how he'd cope if his glasses fell off during a fierce battle. Ryuji had expected him to be among those eliminated, but he'd persevered.
Ryuji reintroduced himself, "Let me reintroduce myself. I'm Ryuji, your training officer and captain of the Moonslayer unit."
He continued, "I'll make Kujou Hattori the captain of the second unit. I'll likely be operating independently, so you must get along well with the members of the first unit."
Shinji questioned, "Ryuji-senpai, why are there first and second units? Won't you be on missions with us?"
Shinichi added, "We trained so hard, and now we're only in the second unit? Who's in the first unit?"
Ryuji answered, "Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke are in the first unit. They've mastered Total Concentration Constant, making them stronger than those who haven't."
Shinichi realized Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke were from the same training group as Shinji. He hadn't known they'd mastered Total Concentration Constant.
He felt his rank as a Class A member was meaningless; he had no status.
Despite being in the second unit, Shinichi, Kachi, Seiichiro, and Kenta didn't complain; they hadn't fully mastered Total Concentration Constant, and Ryuji's decision to keep them was merciful.
However, Kujou Hattori directly requested, "Captain Ryuji, I want to join the first unit! I've mastered Total Concentration Constant!"
She believed the first unit was superior and preferred to be with stronger individuals. Though not explicitly looking down on the others, her actions implied it.
Ryuji rejected her request. "You can't join the first unit."
