Chapter 246 - 301-302 Epilogue

301 Finaly at Home

As Mibuomi's eyes widened in horror, Hikigaya's smirk grew, his eyes gleaming with malice.

He wrapped his arm around Yua's waist, pulling her closer as he gazed at Mibuomi with contempt.

"Ah, Aoi, you look like you've seen a ghost," Hikigaya said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I'm surprised you still have the energy to react, considering the state you're in."

Yua, still clinging to Hikigaya, turned to face Mibuomi, her eyes flashing with a mixture of excitement and cruelty.

She took a step closer to the bars, her voice taking on a teasing tone.

"Brother, you're so weak. You can't even protect yourself, let alone me. That's why I've chosen Hikigaya-kun. He's strong, and he can give me what I want."

Hikigaya's hand began to roam over Yua's body, his fingers tracing the curves of her waist and hips.

Yua's eyes fluttered closed, a sigh escaping her lips as she leaned into his touch.

Mibuomi's face twisted in rage and disgust, his eyes fixed on the scene unfolding before him. He spat again, the blood-tinged saliva landing on the floor with a splat.

"You...you're disgusting," Mibuomi growled, his voice barely above a whisper.

Hikigaya chuckled, his eyes never leaving Mibuomi's face.

He leaned in, his lips brushing against Yua's ear, and whispered something that made her giggle.

Yua's eyes snapped open, and she gazed up at Hikigaya with adoration.

Without warning, Hikigaya's hands slid up Yua's dress, his fingers groping her thighs and hips.

Yua's eyes fluttered closed, her face tilting up towards Hikigaya's.

He leaned in, his lips claiming hers in a brutal, possessive kiss.

Mibuomi's eyes went wide, his mind reeling in shock and horror.

He stumbled backward, his hands grasping for the wall as if seeking support.

The sound of Yua's moans and Hikigaya's labored breathing filled the air, a twisted serenade that seemed to mock Mibuomi's helplessness.

As the kiss deepened, Hikigaya's eyes locked onto Mibuomi's, a triumphant glint sparkling in their depths.

He was savoring Mibuomi's pain, feeding off his suffering.

The Law of Smile Conservation, indeed.

Smiles didn't disappear – they just shifted from one person to another.

And in this case, Hikigaya had stolen Mibuomi's smile, replacing it with a crushing sense of despair.

Seeing the last sparks of hope dies in Miboumi's eyes, Hikigaya turned towards Shishiba Yue.

"So are you satisfated now Shishiba?"

"Mmmh…. Yes I think that now I can let go of the past, we can go now"

Without a second lock Shishiba Yue turned her back to Mibuomi and left.

After a moment of observing the broken visage of Mibuomi, Hachiman left as well.

.

.

.

"So can I count on your help now Yue?"

"Mmmh you did accomplish my request so I will help you Hikigaya-kun"

"Don't worry about Mikoto-chan, I will convince her for you!"

"What a shame, it's really a pity that you didn't accept my engagement proposal…"

Said Shishiba with her bright, watery eyes—her expression exuding silent temptation.

'What a dangerous woman, she's really has a face of an Angel and a hearth of a Demon'

Thought Hachiman.

"Very well then I will call when it's time"

After saying so they discussed the details while waiting for their respective rides home.

"Ahhh finally at home"

"Welcome back Hachiman-sama"

"I'm back Yor"

After arriving at his home Hachiman was welcomed by Miss Yor.

"Ahhh this was really a long day"

Said Hachiman after collapsing on the sofa of his living room.

As Hachiman collapsed onto the sofa, Miss Yor rushed to his side, concern etched on her face.

"Hachiman-sama, are you alright? You look exhausted. Would you like some tea to relax?"

Hachiman nodded, his eyes already half-closed. "Yeah, that sounds great, Yor. Thanks."

Miss Yor smiled and headed to the kitchen, her mind racing with various thoughts.

As she prepared the tea, her hands moved with a nervous energy.

She reached for a special blend, one that she had been saving for just the right occasion.

The aphrodisiac tea was said to enhance the senses, to bring out the passion and desire in those who drank it.

Miss Yor's heart skipped a beat as she imagined Hachiman's reaction.

After so long she couldn't bear the thought of waiting any longer to express her feelings.

She poured the tea into a delicate cup and added a touch of honey, her hands trembling slightly as she handed it to Hachiman.

"Here, Hachiman-sama. Drink this, and you'll feel better in no time," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Hachiman took the cup, his eyes locking onto Miss Yor's as he raised it to his lips.

As Hachiman took a sip of the tea, Miss Yor's eyes never left his face.

She watched as the liquid touched his lips, as his eyes fluttered closed in appreciation of the taste.

And then, she saw it - the subtle change in his expression, the hint of relaxation and pleasure that spread across his face.

Miss Yor's heart soared.

It was working. The aphrodisiac tea was taking effect, and Hachiman was starting to feel its influence.

She leaned in, her voice taking on a sultry tone.

"Hachiman-sama, why don't you let me take care of you tonight? I'll make sure you feel better, that all your worries and stress just melt away."

Hachiman's eyes snapped open, his gaze locking onto Miss Yor's as he set the cup down.

For a moment, they just stared at each other, the air thick with tension.

And then, without a word, Hachiman reached out and pulled Miss Yor into his arms.

302 Finale

Hikigaya Hachiman ultimately chose to forgive her.

After all, seeing Miss Yor with a pale face, haggard expression, and lingering afterglow, the anger in his heart was extinguished along with the nearly dehydrated output from his body.

The next morning, Hikigaya left early.

He took a rare day off, without disturbing anyone, and returned alone to Chiba.

Like a warrior with tragic undertones, who always lingers in his homeland and indulges in gentle comforts before the final expedition...

Hikigaya was the same.

For Miss Haruno, with whom he had shared physical intimacy, he treated her no differently.

Even though he felt like he'd been in a constant state of dehydration lately, Hikigaya Hachiman still managed to persevere.

While Yukinoshita Yukino was still at school, he quietly arrived at Miss Haruno's office.

Because it was a workday, Haruno wore a refined little suit, low heels paired with dark brown stockings, and her face was lightly made up.

Hikigaya Hachiman's heart skipped a beat.

No matter how powerful the women he had met—like Juraku Sachiko or Miroslava—had been, they were still just students.

And Yor… better not even mention her; aside from her age, she was more of a girl than anyone else.

Only Haruno had that intellectual, caring, mature charm that gave Hikigaya Hachiman a uniquely addictive experience.

.

.

.

Inside the room was Yukinoshita Haruno's office. From the quiet came the muffled hums of Miss Haruno biting her lips.

Her shallow-heeled shoes had long been taken off and placed aside.

In her dark brown stockings, bare feet, she tiptoed on the soft carpet.

Sometimes her hands supported the desk, other times they pressed against the tall window.

Outside the conversations between people filled the air, nonstop.

But this moral obstacle not only didn't make them feel afraid, but it also fueled their passion, like pouring gasoline on a burning fire.

The sound of sparks flying and papers burning filled the air.

If it were a fiery blaze, it would have burned a hole in the documents. If it were a white stain, it would have soaked the papers until they were blurry. Although the methods of destruction were different, the final effect was the same.

Stimulation, stimulation, and more stimulation!

Even battlefield veteran Hikigaya struggled to resist the environmental effects.

For a time, both his actions and breathing trembled slightly.

Knock knock knock— "Director Haruno, there's a document that needs your signature." Haruno's female secretary had perfectly timed her "assistance."

Hikigaya Hachiman's expression changed—not out of fear for himself, but because— First, narrow and tight, then, even tighter…

He wasn't afraid—but others were. For example, Haruno.

Absolutely terrified. At the sound of her secretary's voice, she went pale, with the fear of being caught in bed.

All sorts of bizarre images flashed through her mind.

Like: being blackmailed by her female secretary, eventually forcing Hikigaya to sacrifice himself for her...

"Don't be scared." Hikigaya saw her nervousness and quickly comforted her.

But at the same time, he found it a little funny.

He had never seen Haruno look this flustered before.

So, with a mischievous thought, he reached out... and flipped the bowl.

"You… don't mess around!" Haruno urgently asked, "What do we do? If we get caught, I'll…"

"It's fine, just hide under the desk."

Quick separation. Hikigaya quickly pulled away.

If the secretary entered the office, he would just say that Haruno went to the restroom and brush it off.

Just like that, under Hikigaya's guidance, the exhausted Haruno weakly crawled under the large desk to hide.

"Hello, please come in." Hikigaya forced himself to remain calm, speaking with a steady voice.

The door soon opened. The female secretary peeked into the office, looking puzzled. "You're… Director Haruno's friend, right? Where is she?"

"Hmm, she went to the restroom. She should be back soon. Just leave the document here."

"To the restroom?" The secretary looked more puzzled.

Her own office was next to Haruno's—if Haruno had gone to the restroom, she should've seen her.

'Did she go while I was secretly on TikTok just now…?' Her heart sank. A sense of dread burned inside.

If Director Haruno had seen her slacking off, what punishment awaited her as an incompetent secretary? She might… even get fired. Her face turned pale thinking about the consequences.

How to save herself?! Her first thought was Hikigaya. If this boy—who seemed close to Haruno—could say a few good words for her, she might be saved.

Instead of retreating, she advanced. She took a few small steps forward: "Um… Sir, may I ask you for a favor?"

"..." Before Hikigaya could reply, his eyes widened—like he'd taken a heavy blow. Gentle strokes, careful touches, slurp, slurp, hiss...

"Please, go ahead." Hikigaya had to reach out another hand to stop Haruno's reckless actions.

"Um, when Director Haruno comes back, can you speak on my behalf?"

"Huh? Say what?"

"Well… she might've seen me watching TikTok earlier. If she finds out, I might lose my job."

The female secretary hesitated, glanced at Hikigaya with the corner of her eyes, and suddenly blushed.

This guy… is actually kinda handsome.

"Please, if you help me keep this job, I'll do anything!" She stepped forward again, clearly intending to repay kindness with action.

Hikigaya sucked in a cold breath again. Haruno was truly… furious this time.

Tiger fang bite.

He spoke quickly, stopping the secretary's rash approach: "I'll put in a good word for you. You don't have to offer anything."

"Eh, really?"

The secretary was spared—but judging by her expression, she seemed… a little disappointed. After receiving Hikigaya's assurance, she reluctantly left the office.

Wait, what the hell are you regretting?!

After a while, Miss Haruno crawled out from under the desk, wiping her mouth in shame and irritation. She coughed a few times uncomfortably and said: "That girl… I didn't expect her to be like this. I'm firing her after work."

"Let it go." Hikigaya wrapped his arm around Haruno's waist and forced her to sit on his lap. "It's rare for us to see each other. Don't make me be the bad guy."

"Besides, we were the ones in the wrong first~"

"Well… okay." Haruno's cheeks were bright red as she buried her face deep into Hikigaya's chest, greedily inhaling each other's scent.

One month passed in the blink of an eye. Hikigaya, Yumeko, and Kirari stood at the front.

A group of sixteen people stood on a giant platform elevator, descending to the underground Tower of Doors.

Many workers of the Momobami clan, dressed in uniforms, were already busy around the Tower of Doors. Countless machines were densely arranged around the structure.

"What are they doing?"

"Final preparations—to ensure our safety~" Kirari said calmly: "After all, Teto is a super AI with self-awareness. It's not impossible that it might tamper with the gambling process."

"So, we have to make sure that once the gamble ends, we can escape from the world Tet has constructed."

"That makes sense…" Hikigaya nodded. Always plan for the worst.

The lead technician noticed Kirari's arrival and immediately came forward to greet her.

"Milady."

"Mm… Are preparations complete?"

"Yes," the man said solemnly. "If the super AI tries to trap you all in there, we will forcibly extract you via the equipment here."

"Your safety is guaranteed."

"That's reassuring."

Hikigaya turned around and looked at the familiar faces behind him, feeling a deep sense of peace.

He had no more regrets. Win or lose—either outcome would be the best ending.

"We'll win—" Hikigaya clenched his fist. "Alright, let's go—!"
