"Claire, the first batch of perfume is launching tomorrow, we're finally making money. Aren't you excited?" Morgan George walked into the Zanna office, beaming with enthusiasm.
"I am! Thank you so much, Uncle Morgan," Claire replied, her face glowing with joy.
Thanks to the success of the recent tea gathering and a heavy investment in advertising, orders had poured in. Profits were now clearly within reach.
"I'm just so thrilled. It feels like the old Zanna is finally back," Morgan grinned like a child.
At that moment, Claire's phone rang.
When she saw the caller ID, Emma Miler, her heart sank.
"Claire, I order you to come to the Watson Castle immediately," Emma barked arrogantly over the phone.
Claire's hand clenched into a fist.
"If you don't come, you'll face the consequences," Emma spat out and hung up without another word.
Claire's eyelids twitched as she gritted her teeth.
