"Open the door!" At that critical moment, a loud banging came from outside, growing increasingly forceful.
"Who is it?" Wade Turner turned his head, his eyes bloodshot with rage.
"Hurry, break it down!" came the fierce, childish voice from outside.
Claire's face was ashen, suddenly jolted to life. That voice wasn't it Dean's?
"Dean!" she cried out in a mixture of shock and hope. Taking advantage of Wade's distraction, she pushed him off with all her strength and crawled toward the door.
"You filthy woman! You really called a little brat to save you? Do you think you can escape from me?" Wade scoffed, then kicked Claire viciously in the stomach.
The pain made her break into a cold sweat. Her face turned pale as she curled up on the floor in agony.
At that moment, the door burst open with a loud bang.
Little Dean strode in, dressed in a mini suit and sunglasses, exuding authority. Two towering bodyguards followed closely behind.
