Bonnie turned her head and saw Charlie standing lazily at the doorway, one hand in his pocket.
She glanced at him and went right back to rummaging through the cabinet. "Charlie, have you seen our household registration book?"
Charlie stepped inside. "What are you planning to do?"
Bonnie's eyes curved as she smiled. "I'm going to get the marriage license with Derek tomorrow."
Charlie: "?"
He frowned. "Weren't you two planning to hold the wedding next spring?"
Bonnie waved her hand. "Oh, we're getting it sooner or later anyway! I'll just bring him home first. Save herself from worrying day and night."
"..."
Charlie leaned against the table, coolly watching her search.
The room was quiet except for Bonnie's rustling movements. A moment later.
"Charlie, move aside." He was blocking the area she needed to check. Bonnie reached out and pushed him. "Ugh, you're in the way."
"..." Charlie straightened, raising a brow, halfway between a smirk and nothing at all. "I'm in the way?"
