Blood Upon the Moon
The moon was still there above the ruins. It looked like a cut, in the sky. The moon was giving off this light all over the city of Vellore. Vellore was a city that used to be something. Now it is not the same. The city of Vellore was really. You could see that when you looked at it under the cold light of the moon.
The glow showed the breaks in the stone and in peoples memories too. It made the broken towers and empty streets look a bit shiny like it was trying to make the damage look not so bad.. It did not really work, because the destruction was still very clear to see. The glow was on the parts of the city, like the broken spires and the hollow streets.
