Leons mind was going fast. If Aden blew up the whole fortress would be gone. Leon thought he might be able to make it through the special thing inside him could protect his body for a little while.. He felt each death like a hot brand on his skin. The artifact under Leons ribs pulsed in sympathy it was like the artifact was impatient to act. Leon could already see what would happen after this: a temporary safe place, for one man, Leon and ruin for everyone else all the other men Leon had trained with and laughed with.
