A Surprise at the Table
The soldiers bowed down low their heads bending because it felt like the air around them was telling them to do that. They were stuck between wanting to be loyal and feeling a kind of amazement. The soldiers had never seen their lady act like this before. They had never seen her smile like that not with her mouth but with the way she moved and seemed to touch every part of the space, around her the lady left a mark on it that you could not see. The lady seemed to be doing something and the soldiers could feel it.
