A Promise Wrapped in Warmth
I already know what is going on I do not need any information, about the thing we are talking about I already understand.
The words did not hit Natasha like a blow. They slid in quietly cutting deeper into Natasha because of how soft the words were. This was a little ache that Natasha felt. Natasha felt her chest tighten, like the armor Natasha was wearing suddenly did not fit right on Natasha. Natashas breath snagged. Natashas eyes went wide not with fear but, with the feeling of being seen by someone.
Too clearly.
What is going on here sister? Just stop it. She tried to say this in a way.. The words got stuck. They did not come out right because her face was getting very hot. She put her hands up in the air. This was a thing to do. It was like she thought she could make the bad feeling go away by waving her hands.
The thing just did not go anywhere. The situation, with the thing just stayed the same. Nothing happened with the thing.
