Chapter 650: Conspiracy!
Ryuunosuke's doubt did not shake Jay at all.
If anything, it amused him.
Jay's lips curled into a knowing smile. "Lilith is our breakthrough point now."
"Only they can open the intersection. And if I'm not mistaken, they've already started moving."
"And most importantly, they'll definitely be very interested in what we do next."
Ryuunosuke's eyes narrowed. "You mean they'll all jump into our operation?"
Even if the Guardians and Evictors got involved, it was not a big problem for the Dragon Hunter Pirates.
The problem was Jay himself.

"They won't just get involved," Jay said calmly. "We need them to take the lead."
The shrewd, unpredictable air he had shown at their first meeting returned in full.
Ryuunosuke smiled like he was watching an old fox preen. "Let them take the lead, huh?"
"Mr. Jay, you've already got a plan, don't you?"
Jay shook his head. "Not yet."
Then his gaze slid past Ryuunosuke and landed on the woman beside Vegapunk's projection.
"Lilith… actually, there's a problem with you using that name right now, isn't there?"
"I think you have your own name now."
"At the very least, I don't believe you're willing to carry the name Lilith for the rest of your life. Am I wrong?"
Jay's tone made it clear he was not asking out of politeness.
He was confirming a conclusion.
The so called projection was not really Lilith anymore.
"Plum."
The woman answered instantly, without hesitation.
"This is my current name. Vegapunk gave it to me."
"My rebirth, my existence, all of it was brought about by him."
"So it's a name I'm willing to accept."
Ryuunosuke blinked once. Plum was not what he expected, but it suited her more than a borrowed identity.
"Plum. A good name," Jay said, approving.
Then he stepped straight into the real point.
"So the connection between you and Lilith is still in your body, right?"
"How about it?"
"Become Lilith's spy inside our temporary little group."
"Spy?" Plum froze, visibly thrown off.
At the same time, she glanced at Vegapunk's projection with instinctive worry.
Vegapunk frowned. "You mean send false information, guide their actions, make them dance?"
His voice carried open confusion.
To him, that kind of move sounded low level. Almost insulting.
Jay laughed softly. "Mislead? Lie?"
"No, no, no. I'm not treating the opponent like idiots."
"The fact they survived until today means they have their own strengths."
"If the information is false, it won't fool them."
Ryuunosuke's smile thinned. He understood now.
"You want to feed them truth."
Vegapunk's expression tightened. "That's dangerous."
"It directly affects our safety."
His anxiety was honest.
Unlike Ryuunosuke and the others, Vegapunk had spent most of his life gambling with schemes and planning, inch by inch, bleeding for every gain.
Even if Plum had not fully separated from Lilith, what they achieved was still a breakthrough.
If Plum got exposed under Lilith's gaze, everything Vegapunk had built could collapse in one step.
For them, this was the most lethal kind of risk.
Jay's answer came without pity. "It won't affect our safety."
"It'll only affect yours and Plum's safety."
"Of course, if you want to participate, this is the price."
"Because only you can do it."
The room went quiet.
Jay did not deny it.
He did not soften it.
He laid it out like an execution notice.
Vegapunk's voice turned colder. "It isn't necessary for us to participate."
"So why are you so sure we'll agree?"
He sounded irritated now.
Before the cooperation even started, Jay had already placed them in the most dangerous position.
That was not what Vegapunk wanted.
Still, Vegapunk kept asking because Jay was being too direct.

Vegapunk closed his eyes for a moment.
Then he exhaled.
"It seems we don't have the option to refuse."
He turned to Plum. "Get ready."
"Staying hidden also affects how we digest and eliminate those substances."
Plum swallowed, then nodded. "Mm."
She removed a bracelet from her wrist.
The moment it left her skin, her aura wavered, turning unstable.
It was not decoration.
It was a device Vegapunk had created specifically to conceal her presence.
Jay nodded like that was the final piece locking into place.
"Then we go find Adam directly."
"Adam and Lilith are connected, but they're not of one mind."
"And Adam's goal was never cooperation with Lilith. He's chasing his own twisted satisfaction."
"The reason Eve couldn't fully realize this is simple."
"She hasn't mastered the true power of God yet."
"So Adam will never share the Seed of God with Lilith."
Jay spoke fast, clean, like a man reciting an operation manual he had already rehearsed.
"My goal is also the Seed of God," Ryuunosuke said, eyes sharp. "So you're saying we cooperate with Adam first."
"You take back your body. I fight for the Seed."
"If Lilith dies, Plum can exist on her own."
Then Ryuunosuke's gaze hardened.
"So how exactly does Adam cooperate?"
Jay's confidence did not waver.
"For him to get closer to the Seed of God, the first and most important thing is to obtain Lilith's energy."
"That's why he has no reason to refuse a powerful group like us."
Ryuunosuke nodded slowly.
Yes.
If that was the core requirement, Adam would not refuse unless he was brain dead.
From everything Ryuunosuke had seen, Adam needed Lilith's energy. Without it, his power would always be capped when facing the Seed of God.
Which meant the next step was clear.
They were about to walk into a conspiracy.
