The Land of the Samurai is a disclosed location known only by the President of Lukia, who had passed away, and the members of the five samurai clans. Akira, Zanami, Narahara, Yashiro, Rengoku.
The Land is an island off the shore of Lukia and split into territories in which each clan lives. At the top of the five clans there is only one leader, the Shogun. After the death of Mazamo Akira, the current heads of each respective clan were Chiro Zanami for the Zanami clan because of whom the crime rates are still steadily low and the news of the president's passing was not known to many and hidden from most of the public. The incident of Richard's Crater where Ring One joined Richard's Crater was also blamed on Chiro Zanami and yet due to his immense power no one could deny him or tell him that he was wrong.
The name Xeno never leaked to the outside world. The world was still functioning properly because of purely Chiro Zanami's efforts and the people's fear over him. The man who ended the Great War between Lukia and Ninjaro, how could you not be scared of the man. The truth was he was a jubilant, carefree teacher to his DMMS 'children' yet the world did not look at him as such.
The head of the Akira Clan was now Regis's elder brother and Mazamo's first son, the rightful heir of the Akira Clan, Zakura Akira. The way a child awakens their usage of soul energy from the soul is by using the mother's input of soul energy as a guide therefore learning the applications innately. However while all non-sorcerers have soul energy they merely do not know how to use it or cannot awaken their 'Ability' by not being born of a lineage with 'Sorcery Blood' of sorts or due to plain bad luck.
The reason why Regis had no soul energy input into his soul therefore his soul being 'empty' is because of Zakura. He took most of the soul energy present in his mother for giving birth with him as there was none left for Regis to properly awaken his soul. This small coincidence and event caused Zakura Akira to have soul energy on the levels of Chiro Zanami and the most talented samurai in the history of the Land of Samurai. Yet, everyone knows it is Chiro Zanami who is the most talented but no one would accept the fact as Chiro 'failed' the Sword God ritual meaning he was stuck with his 'Sorcery of the Constellations' and to prove a point about the toxicity of the Samurai he refused to switch into a Sword Art even when given the chance for a re-ritual.
Even the Zanami clan would not have wanted him as their leader but due to his immense strength it would be a foolish decision to make someone else the leader especially since the leader would not be able to control Chiro's moves anyway due to his pure strength.
Zakura Akira's Sword Art is the Sword Art of Consumption.
In Colony 6,
"50 souls, finally," said Regis, cleaning his blade.
Regis was surrounded by dead bodies as he sat in the center of them. His dull blade was somehow much more rigid and stronger than most blades made with fancy material specialised for a samurai or a sorcerer. Due to Zakura Akira having immense soul energy the universe balanced the two brothers by giving Regis Akira extreme physical aspects and the sharpest senses known to man, second to Chiro Zanami, and enough advantages to counter someone with soul energy.
Due to his innate empty soul no sorcerer can detect his soul energy since there is none making him an invisible ghost, while he can detect soul energy with ease. Regis stood up and walked through the crimson puddles of his enemies as he dragged his blade along with him.
Suddenly a hologram appeared in front of Regis as he smirked.
"What wish would you like to make?" asked the hologram.
"Open communications where people can talk to people outside the City and throughout colonies as well," wished Regis.
Why would Regis wish this? Well it was because of the letter Xeno had given him where it gave him the invitation or contract to join the Colosseum Chronicles. The Zyke family were situated in The Land of the Stars which meant it would be difficult for the samurai to find them. Yet, they still found their whereabouts and executed Regis's family. How? Well it was because of Regis's most trusted ally in the Akira Clan, Chituru Akira. He snitched their whereabouts and got Mazamo Akira killed by Regis on purpose to make sure Zakura would become the next clan head as soon as possible.
Once learning about this and the fact Chituru was currently in Northguard City participating in the Chronicles apparently looking for something, Regis Zyke instantly accepted the invitation.
So why did Regis not wish to learn Chituru's whereabouts or just teleport to him? That was because of the barrier rule where once someone steps out of their designated colony they would instantly die and even if Regis knew Chituru's whereabouts how would he reach him? So why did he not wish for gates to be opened where they can cross colonies? Well that was since he did not know the plain strength of the other participants across the Colosseum and that since he had the most souls as of now, it would be a hassle to deal with all the barbarians rushing at him to take his souls.
Now then what would he do with a communication line? He would use it to figure out if Chituru was in his colony or not and to threaten him for his own pleasure.
"Honestly I did not expect this wish to come this early, yet let's have some fun with this shall we?" said the Hologram.
Regis stayed silent.
The Hologram which was like a tablet floating in the sky flew up and enlarged to the point where it covered the sky and it started to speak with its thundering voice.
All across the ten colonies people looked up at the sky as some anticipated what would happen next and some were in fear of what would happen next.
"In every colony at a random spot there will be a phone! This device will allow you to communicate with people throughout the colonies and even outside the City!" said the Hologram.
"A phone? Sounds interesting?" thought Vegiatous as his army of soul slimes were behind him in Colony 5
Count Lestat, who was currently hiding in the shadows of an alley, looked up as the sky got covered and walked out into the open as he sighed with his pointy canine teeth showing. He played with his feet but there seemed to be something crunched or crushed underneath his feet.
"Please, please, I just want to go home," said a sorcerer.
The cruel vampire bit deep into the sorcerer creating a bloody mess like a chainsaw drilling deeper and deeper making blood spew out relentlessly creating a horrific sight. After he was done he reacted to the rule.
"Bats fetch me this 'phone' of our colony," ordered Lestat.
Lestat slowly started to get covered up in bats as multiple flocks of bats turned into hybrids of humans and bats in a body horror-esque way and flew off to retrieve the phone. Meanwhile Lestat disappeared into the shadows.
Meanwhile in Colony 2,
"Sorcery of the Dead Sea:- Vortex of Black," said Aralang.
Aralang was a fishman which is a type of species where the key characteristics of a fishman were their signature blue skin, scaly body, large tails at the back, the height of an average adult fishman exceeding seven feet and with sharp teeth that joined together like puzzle pieces. They mainly inhabit the Holy Springs but some live as nomads wandering from sea to sea or living in the Endless Sea. This race is the most popular for being pirates and wandering bounty hunters. Aralang was no exception as he was the best bounty hunter across the islands of the Endless Sea.
He was wearing a black and white suit which complimented the dark blue skin of his and a tall fedora with a revolver in his clasp. His eyes shined through the crystal glasses he wore which had a string that connected them to his ear. Aralang pointed the revolver towards his enemy as the bullet quickly turned into a black, muddy, water vortex that completely drenched the nearby surroundings into water destroying everything and flooding everything.
After defeating his opponent he looked up at the sky to see the Hologram as he got notified that a 'phone' had appeared somewhere in Colony 2.
In the Fifth Dimension,
The souls of the dead flew majestically in the sky before getting consumed by the cruel red and vigorous Skull Plants. These plants would feast on the souls trying to ascend. The red sand and the green sky created a beautiful color palette almost like a paintbrush stroke across the horizon.
The black water of River Styx flowed between the red sand and the white patches of flowers as this river had no beginning nor end. This was the pathway of the souls.
The God of Sages appeared onto this Land with no king with his Core eviscerating all the filthy threats near him. The deadly plants withered, the Dragons breathing soulfire fell down slayed by the God's simple presence and the crows instantly burnt as they flew across the sky.
"I should do this quickly, there is no place more dangerous than the Fifth Dimension, especially with the Plague Doctor still on the loose," thought the God of Sages.
He picked up a handful of black scorching water from the River of Styx and threw it across the sky, painting the green into a black star. The soul that was within the water was none other than Sunny who had been murdered by Suzumi or Xeno before the Colosseum Chronicles began.
"Hmm, I am counting on you to fill the gap of Danso in this," prayed the God of Sages.
Sunny was in a meteorite as all his memories of his life came back this time with the instructions of the God of Sages. He crashed onto the city at Colony 4 as he intervened in a battle that Yvette was fighting.
