"What? That's it?" thought Danso as he reached the end of the diary.
He scratched his head before keeping the book back down and sat down on Yvette's couch with a billion questions.
"Immortal Ghost? So is he still around? If he was…Could Chiro beat him?" thought Danso.
Knock. Knock.
Danso got startled at the sudden knock at the front door and ran to open the door. Outside it was none other than Chiro Zanami waiting.
"It's time. We are going to Northguard City now," said Chiro with a smile on his face.
Danso had no expression as he was still processing what he just read.
"Ah, come on! It took ages to convince Haruki! We're going there for a mission and who knows, think of it like a holiday!" said Chiro trying to cheer Danso up.
"Yeah, yeah Northguard City! To defeat Xeno once for all right?" asked Danso.
"Yeah, once and for all," said Chiro, placing his hand on Danso's shoulder and smiling.
"You look to be reflecting or dazed right now I'll let you get lost in your own thoughts," said Chiro after a second before closing the door and exiting.
"How lonely is it to be strong?" asked Danso as Chiro was about to leave.
Chiro put on a puzzled face before scratching his head and sighing.
"Extremely at times but it's part of the job, you just got to enjoy helping others," said Chiro.
"I heard…Suzumi, the body that Xeno took, wasn't he your best-friend?" asked Danso.
"My best-friends are Takahashimi and Ozamu, they've been with me through everything. Suzumi and I got close during the war and I felt like he was the only one who could understand me since he also had to take on the burden of being the strongest," said Chiro.
"You…killed him right?" asked Danso.
"Without even giving a proper burial," said Chiro with a smile that spoke a thousand words.
Danso became silent for a while before Chiro spoke.
"It's 'cause of that I hate these higher-ups, if we didn't have to fight a pointless war then maybe we could've been friends who knows! Don't worry much about it, just get ready for your adventure tomorrow," sighed Chiro.
"Where are you going?" asked Danso.
"I am teleporting there directly! I'll also scout out the area to create extra safety for you guys. Takahashimi and Ozamu will be with you!" said Chiro before leaving.
"Ah one more thing, what about that guy," asked Danso.
"Take him with you, he might prove to be useful in a sense," laughed Chiro.
As Chiro shut the door behind him he put on a grim face before putting his index and middle finger pointing upwards.
"Sorcery of the Constellations:- Cancer Space," said Chiro before closing his eyes thinking of a path to Northguard City.
How Cancer Space works is that once Chiro knows a safe path to the destination his Sorcery brings his current destination which is Point A and his preferred destination which is Point B and brings him through a gap in Space-Time to his preferred destination through a pocket dimension. In order to do this however he needs to know the correct path and proper Point he wants to leave at Space-Time almost like inputting coordinates.
As Chiro travelled Space-Time in an instant he suddenly heard a loud noise that echoed throughout his pocket dimension.
"Negate,"
Chiro suddenly opened his eyes to be found surrounded by darkness yet he could still feel trees and grass as he laid flat on a giant leaf of a giant tree.
"Sorcery of Constellations:- Eyes of Libra," said Chiro as he opened his eyes.
Eyes of Libra lets him trace soul energy to a microscopic level which lets him see his surroundings almost like a heat-map. It gives him increased precision when using his techniques and when observing his enemies and their attacks to know where to dodge and when to dodge.
When mixed with his Scorpius Sense which elevates his five senses to their utmost peak, he does not need his eye-sight to see anymore; he knows where everything is at the perfect time and place.
He looked up to see a giant island above him which was granting the shade that he was in. Chiro quickly analysed a path out of the jungle and sprinted towards the path moving at super-human speed before reaching beyond the shade.
"Why didn't Cancer Space work? There must've been interference like there always is," sighed Chiro before he glanced up.
"Sorcery of Constellations:- Can-"
As Chiro was about to complete his sentence he got hit with a powerful punch that destroyed multiple trees and left a giant crater on the ground.

"Guys," said Danso as everyone was ready boarding the giant limousine that would take them to the Underground teleportation pad where they could enter Northguard City from.
Everyone looked at Danso as he gripped his sword and looked at his bag which contained the Diary Yvette left for him. After a moment of silence he just replied with a blunt 'Nothing'
He was going to tell everyone the contents of the diary but according to the note left by Yvette she specifically gave the diary to Danso so he thought maybe keeping the contents secret for sometime would be the most logical play here.
And so their journey began in the car.
It was a smooth ride for the first four hours or so and then in the dark while they were riding through the forests and greenery, a sudden man covered in blood quickly ran in front of the car and begged them to stop. Ozamu, who was driving the car, quickly screeched the car to a halt, as Takahashimi prepared to get down and question the man.
Haruki and Emily were fast asleep as Natsuki was also in curiosity and stepped down from the car with Takahashimi. Hiroshi was stuffed in the trunk of the car and was also fast asleep since he had not fully recovered yet from the aftermath of the Aurora and Nicole did not care enough to get down as she thought it was not that big of a deal and Danso stayed back and sat next to Emily since he thought two people were more than enough.
"Her eyes are…pretty," said Danso, staring at Emily's brown eyes as she was fast asleep.
Strands of brown hair covered her forehead as her body slowly inflated and deflated with her breath as she calmly slept. Danso continued to stare, not caring about the event that was going on outside.
"Please…Please, I beg you please help me!" said the blood covered man in ragged clothes and grey beard slamming the front of the car.
"I've seen many people like him, they're all fakes trying to steal something," whispered Takahashimi to Natsuki.
"We are sorry but we are on an important duty. If you may please leave, we will continue on our way," said Natsuki politely.
"N-no you don't understand he will kill us all please help," pleaded the man crying tears.
The surroundings were dark with only the front of their path being illuminated with the lights of the car. The rest was pitch black as they could only feel the leaves and bushes surrounding them in the dense forest road.
"What happened?" asked Takahashimi.
"H-h-he told us that he was a wandering traveller who needed a way back home…and we cautiously took him along with us to our destination," said the man.
"I am sorry I don't understand? Who is this 'he'?" asked Natsuki.
"He followed us and when we reached near the destination he disappeared all of a sudden…Then slowly one by one everyone started to disappear and kind of lose 'control'. He spared no one, I ran to escape," said the man.
"Did he tell you anything about himself?" asked Takahashimi.
"All he told us was his name…Xeno," said the man.
