Chapter 79 - A Trance

Hiroshi…Leaving Akuza was a good choice," said Suzumi.

Hiroshi sat next to Suzumi on a train that was going from Akuza to Senso in Ninjaro. The seats were padded as they boarded the classy first class compartment of the train with Hiroshi wearing a casual and cultural Ninjaro outfit which consisted of a robe, an inner shirt, and a black pants. Suzumi wore the same but his robe was much more expensive and had golden silk outlining his white robe.

Hiroshi did not respond to Suzumi as Suzumi did not press on the topic any further. Once they reached the Shrine of War in Senso, Hiroshi was accommodated in a room in which he got comfortable and began to train under Suzumi.

The reason why he left Akuza was because of Suzumi. On the night before Hiroshi confronted Danso about him leaving Lukia, Suzumi sent a member of the Ronin to tell Hiroshi about his offer. Suzumi knew that Hiroshi was a refugee whose parents had sadly passed away from the Great War therefore with such a talent running wild in Lukia he knew he had to bring him over to Ninjaro. If Hiroshi conflicted and refused the proposal…Suzumi made sure to threaten him in a way where he would have no choice but to come to Senso with him.

Suzumi was also Xeno's avatar at the time, therefore using the information Hiroshi collected he deduced that The Red Samurai and Xu's vessel were the same which gave him a good entry point to get or enact his revenge.

Hiroshi recalled his memories while he was travelling to the Frozen Everglades on his Lightning Dragon he conjured. The moment the dragon dissipates to the atmosphere was the moment he reached the Aurora Barrier. From there he would walk to Fort Fjord because he had gotten information before his journey that the Veilled Village that 'Lance Shire' or the outsider was inhabiting temporarily was invading Fort Fjord.

It would also prove to be difficult since Fort Fjord is under the Snow Kingdom's control therefore it could spark some controversies and political outrages. Yet Hiroshi could not care less as that was Suzumi's job and his job is to kill Danso Narahara of the DMMS.

As he thought of it, Hiroshi gulped his saliva and got a quick flashback of his time in Akuza before slapping himself and preparing since he started to catch a glimpse of the snow.

In the Palace of the Snow Kingdom in Alexandria.

"If Everlin is there that means…" said Zaraut.

"The situation is truly dire! The King is too sick and the Queen has to take care of the country herself, that means it is probably for the best if you go Lady Alicia," Acoust expressed his idea.

Alicia stayed silent as all the Vice Admirals and Admirals bickered and whispered among themselves. The noise slowly grew as Alicia glared at all of the men with her blue eyes before she lifted her right hand up. As she did this act everyone's mouth switched off and a deadly silence filled the room.

"I'll take care of this myself," said Alicia as she got up and left the room without saying another word.

A young soldier came rushing up to the door of the room after Alicia left. All the Admirals and Vice Admirals were still there this time bickering and gossiping with more freedom.

"What happened?" asked the young soldier wondering about the situation.

"Why are you here? This is a meeting only for Vice Admirals and Admirals," said Norvin.

"All the soldiers are stationed at the Barracks at the outskirts of the city...This only can mean one thing and that is an attack," said the young soldier.

Alexandria is a city that was very medieval looking compared to the other cities in the Snow Kingdom. Some other cities in the Snow Kingdom such as Haglel to the north-west of the country or Anni to the central right of the country bordering River Glacier had more technological advancements and they adapted to the interference of the Aurora. Alexandria was called the Iceberg City of the Old mainly because it retained its mediaeval, brick and stone look even after half a century.

Norvin smirked as Acoust broke his stern look and burst out laughing. The young soldier tilted his head in puzzlement as to why they were laughing. Then Zaraut put his hand on the young soldier's shoulder and reassured him.

"The Lady of Hail is going there herself. Do you remember who beat Everlin on the day of the Calamity Ritual? She does not need any help," said Zaraut.

"What? I know she is a calamity but she's only one person," asked the young soldier.

"If you know her power then you'd be more scared for them than for her," replied Acoust.

"What is it?" asked the young soldier gulping down his own saliva.

"Mirrors child…She can teleport anywhere as long there is a mirror, she can go into the Mirror Dimension which is a pocket dimension in the Fourth Dimension that she rules, she has the ability to control the reflection of the light making you see things that do not exist, she has the ability to control you merely by using the reflection in your retina. This is only a fraction of her abilities, there is still the ice section of her powers which are on par with Everlin's. More importantly she is a Stage One Ritualistic Magic User," explained Norvin.

Alicia exited the palace and with a swipe of her hand she created an iceboard that she placed her heels on and thrust it upwards making it fly into the sky. She closed her eyes and in an instant her silky blue and white dress turned into a scaly metallic armor with a crystal on the chest as a spear appeared on her right hand which she used as a steering wheel for the board.

"I am coming, Everlin. Let's end this now," thought Alicia.

In the Forest surrounding the Veiled Village.

Multiple yetis flocked towards the pedestal in an empty space surrounded by forests, wet rocks and boulders. On the pedestal there was a statue of a yeti that was muscular, more giant than a King of Yetis and had two teeth that extended from its mouth that were extremely sharp.

All the Yetis blended in with their blue and white fur as they surrounded the meeting place. The habitat for the yetis was atop a mountain that was deep in the forest. It was surrounded by a stronger veil than the veil that surrounded the Veiled Village and it was decently sized for a yeti but for a human village it was large.

The King of the Yetis walked outside a balcony that was carved in the mountain behind the pedestal and he waved to the crowd of the yetis.

"Today we charge into Fort Fjord and retake our land in the Frozen Everglades! All the centuries of greatness we had before the humans from the Third Dimension came during the Holy War that split the equilibrium must resurge! Do you give your lives for our cause!" screamed the King of Yetis who was holding a huge axe and covered in furry armor ready for war. His name was Yache

All the yetis screamed and agreed to the King of Yetis declaration and dispersed to prepare for war.

In Fort Fjord.

All the brutes, archers, and trappers all situated properly around the Fort to maintain a strategic advantage. The trappers booby trapped multiple entrances to barracks and multiple other huts and buildings and gave the warriors on the Veiled Village's side a special metal detector on their armor to let them pass through the booby traps without any accidents. The brutes walked freely and covered most of the space in the Fort while the archers were situated on the tall watchtowers while also aiding their fellow brutes on the ground.

Auro, Leonard, Lucia, Cole, and Everlin all met up with Danso in the room of the telegram. Danso cleaned up the blood and the body of the suicidal enemy that he faced and sat down on some wooden chairs.

"The Snow Kingdom will be sending reinforcements and in the worst case scenario the telegram will be interfered with and spread to other enemies of ours such as the Yetis and they might all invade at once right now," explained Everlin.

"We don't have the people to defeat them all," said Auro as he counted the amount of people it would require to defeat the worst case scenario.

"All we can do for now is pray for the best and prepare," said Cole, trying to be optimistic.

"And the worst part is that the Crimson Eclipse might be hunting me right now as I am a DMMS member! That makes the situation even more complicated," thought Danso.

In the Starry Kingdom, Alan Normal's Headquarters.

Alan Normal's heart started to hurt as he groaned in pain and fell down his bed. The pain subsided after a few minutes before he gasped for air and quickly opened his grimoire. Using a potion of fate and a Grimoire spell of the past, he divined the reason for his pain.

The divination result came as 'Nicole Albaria'.

Alan's brain instantly lit up as he knew what that meant. Her brother was Adam Albaria, the man he killed in the riots. His final wish was for Alan to take care of Nicole and send her somewhere outside the Starry Kingdom. He completed the first part of the wish long back and he thought Nicole was a strong lady who could take care of herself.

"Guess I have to do some babysitting now," thought Alan as he scratched his hair that was messy as he just woke up.

He called his agent and ordered him to prepare a plan to Rein in Lukia. He knew Nicole was in Rein due to their souls being connected due to the God Pact he made with Adam therefore visualising the bond as a string he could find Nicole's location.

In the Frozen Everglades Border.

Hiroshi had landed with no difficulties and entered the Aurora with an Anti-Sorcery Key that Suzumi had given him. He was currently sitting on top of multiple mercenaries' dead bodies as the Black Magic they were using was slowly decaying their bodies.

"The weather and the restrictions on my abilities do make it difficult," panted Hiroshi as he pushed his black hair backwards and shook his head and smiled.
