Seeing the question in her eyes, Asher chuckled.
"Even though I really wanted to appear like a hero in front of my sister-in-law…"
He scratched the back of his head awkwardly.
"It will be difficult taking away my brother's credits."
He shrugged casually. "If you want to know what I was doing… you should ask Silas. He will explain everything."
Ivy frowned slightly.
'Was Silas hiding something from me?'
Just as that thought appeared... The door opened once again.
Silas walked inside.
The moment he saw Asher standing there, he rolled his eyes.
"What are you doing here?"
Asher placed a hand over his chest dramatically.
"Why shouldn't I be here? If someone didn't know better… they would think the Blackthorn family only has one son."
Silas ignored him completely.
Instead, he walked over to Ivy and placed a warm bowl of porridge on the table beside her.
"You should eat."
His voice softened slightly.
"You must be hungry."
Ivy nodded and slowly took a spoonful.
