Chapter 243 - Chapter 37: Complete Victory

"Damn it…"

Marco, Jozu, and Vista seethed with fury. As division commanders of the Whitebeard Pirates, they were legends in the New World—when had they ever suffered such humiliation?

But reality was undeniable. If Kai could send Marco flying with a single punch, none of them stood a chance one-on-one.

They locked eyes, silent understanding passing between them. Years of fighting side-by-side made the decision instant.

The next moment, Marco shot skyward, blue flames roaring as his body transformed into a massive azure phoenix.

Phoenix Fruit—Full Mythical Form!

Marco's strongest state: his body became a complete mythical beast, able to absorb all incoming damage.

At the same time, Jozu's body was covered in dazzling diamond, sunlight glinting off his crystalline skin.

Brilliant Crash!

Jozu gathered every ounce of power, his diamond arms cocked for a devastating charge. The ship beneath him groaned, bow plunging toward the waves as Jozu launched like a cannonball straight at Kai.

Vista spun his twin blades, black Armament Haki coating their edges.

Twin Swords: Flower Blade!

Cherry blossom petals whirled around Vista. Every Great Swordsman had their own domain—his was a breathtaking fusion of Haki and swordsmanship.

The three strongest division commanders unleashed their ultimate attacks. Even the three Navy Admirals would be gravely wounded by such an assault.

For the first time, Kai's interest was piqued.

Jozu reached him first, diamond fists crashing toward Kai's face.

"Diamond? The world's hardest substance?" Kai murmured, a flicker of disdain in his eyes.

No dodging.

No Armament Haki.

Just bare fists meeting diamond head-on.

Strong Fist: Mountain Crusher!

Chakra surged through Kai's arm, every ounce of power focused into his punch.

Five years of relentless training. The body transformed by the God Tree Fruit—how strong had it become?

Even Kai was stunned by his own growth. His body felt bottomless, its limits unknowable.

He knew: in any world, physical energy was the foundation of power. So for five years, he poured everything into developing it.

How strong was Kai's full-force punch now?

A hundred tons?

A thousand?

Ten thousand?

No—fully one hundred thousand tons of raw force!

No Devil Fruit tricks, no ability boosts—just pure, monstrous physical power.

Using the Mountain Crusher technique, Kai compressed all that force into a single blow, slamming it into Jozu's diamond fist.

Jozu's massive frame froze in midair.

A sharp, brittle crack rang out—barely audible, but to Jozu it was deafening. His pupils shrank, pain etched across his face.

Forget attacking—Jozu's attention snapped to his own fist.

Cracks spiderwebbed through the diamond, spreading rapidly along his arm.

Impossible!

Who could shatter his diamond body—with bare hands? It was unthinkable!

But there was no time for shock. Kai's other fist was already coming.

Jozu couldn't dodge.

Kai's punch crashed into Jozu's chest. With a heavy thud, more cracks split his torso, and he was sent flying.

"Jozu!" "Jozu!!"

Marco and Vista roared in fury as Jozu went tumbling, but their attacks only grew fiercer.

Kai's right hand opened, then clenched—Ryūjin Jakka materialized in his grip, not even needing Shikai. He swung the blade one-handed at Vista.

His left hand snapped into a claw, black Haki swirling around his palm as he lunged for Marco.

There was no room for uncertainty.

Vista was sent flying by Kai's single slash, his Great Grade swords shattered, a deep wound carved into his chest.

Marco fared even worse—Kai's left hand clamped around his throat. No matter how Marco struggled, he couldn't break free.

Armament Haki didn't nullify abilities like Seastone, but under Kai's overwhelming pressure, Marco's phoenix form faded, returning to human. His face turned deathly pale, eyes losing focus.

In one exchange, all three division commanders were utterly defeated.

"Is that all?" Kai casually tossed Marco onto a nearby warship, his tone indifferent.

"Damn it…" Jozu gritted his teeth, trying to rise, but his arms and chest were mangled and bleeding.

Marco hadn't even regained consciousness; Vista's broken swords—his very soul as a swordsman—lay shattered. Despair filled his eyes; there was no fight left in him.

"How… can he be this strong?"

Seeing their crushed state, Jozu's anger faded into hopelessness.

Suddenly, a voice rang out—deep, commanding, laced with unconquerable will.

Jozu's eyes blazed with new light.

Because that voice belonged to—

Whitebeard!
