In void, a realm on nothingness and yet everything.
In the infinity space of this realm are two beings.
One is human young man,
And the other is a being made of universe. Galaxies, star systems and planets swirling around it, appeasing it.
"So let me get this straight, you will reincarnate me into Solo Leveling universe in Sung Jin-Woo's body just after Double Dungeon incident?" Asked young man as he grasped his chin in though. In obvious contemplation.
The galactic being in front of him chuckled.
"Not just Solo Leveling, but alternate version where Monarch's are losing their endless war. It all changes due to Greatest Fragment of Brilliant Light not becoming Monarch of Shadows because he was not betrayed, " Corrected Cosmic being before it snapped with it's fingers, creating a table and on that table cold drinks to work as refreshments for them.
Young man narrowed his eyebrows in confusion.
"Then what is the point of Earth having Gates if Monarch's are loosing? Gates were made so Rulers can prepare Earth inhabitants and fill it with Mana so the world doesn't get destroyed when fighting against Monarchs?? Right.."
Cosmic Entity added.
"Indeed, you are correct. For example, Antares has been sealed with joint efforts of Rulers, other Monarchs had gone into hiding or were dead. Baran and Querehsha for example are dead. Other's are pretty much hiding in their worlds, regrouping strength and preparing for war and to unseal Antares. All meanwhile Rulers are still letting mana to flow through Earth and throwing endless number of gates. Let's just say, there won't be need for any Monsters for Rulers to catch in several Millennia.."
Young man couldn't help widening his eyes at informations he heard from Cosmic Being in front of him, but then.. What about Monarch of Shadows?
"But then, how did Architect create System for Sung Jin-Woo in that universe? I mean why would he pick him if there is not Ashborn to object??..."
Cosmic Being let out 'TSK' noice before groaning.
"Are you forgetting something very important here? I'm omnipotent, Kid. I can do whatever I want, and I just created Alternate Solo Leveling so I could put you there and I could enjoy watching you entertain me."
Young man grumbles something to himself, but Cosmic being heard it of course.
"Don't Tsk me! Anyway, Architect is dead too. He has been killed by 'Ashborn' long ago. After all, that guy was almost Monarch Level, he was a threat for them. I'm just gonna replicate Double Dungeon so story could progress from first Chapter. All major events on Earth remained same since both Rulers and Monarch did not interfere with Earth yet but later on in story."
"But then, what is the point of transmigrating me into Sung Jin-Woo's body, you can transmigrate me anyone's body then, yes? " Questioned Young man as he couldn't help but pointing out what he sees as flaws here.
"Yes I could do so, but I won't. The reason is you will be taking his place, and will fulfill the roles he should have. Without Sung Jin-Woo being in Korea at specific moments, there would have been way more bloodshed and we both know you have 'hero's complex' enough to not let that happen. " Replied Cosmic being before it snapped it's fingers once more, this time summoning a bottle of bear. It opened it before jugging it down on it's non-existent mouth.
All in all, it looked bizarre from young man's perspective.
Just hour ago he was orphan, his parents died when he was 5 year old. And all his time he lived with his grandma, who just month ago passed away.
He had nothing else chaining him to the world, and he was just 19 year old right now. Just barely young adult.
Now you may ask how did he end up here in void?
Well, it's simple.
A drunk driver decided to crush into him when he was crossing the street.
Yeah, you may laugh at him!
It's basic truck-kun death none the less!
Damn it! He was still virgin at the time of his death! And he planned to confess his love to that one McDonald's cashier, she was hot tho in his opinion.
He clenched his hands for a moment before sighing. Let's return to reality, he though so before he glanced at Cosmic Being.
"As you know, the reason Sung Jin-Woo was choosen to be Ashborn's successor and vessel was due to him constantly being on verge with death thus making him a perfect vessel for Shadow Monarch, but not only Shadow Monarch but for others too. And since which Monarch's Powers I will give you, his body will be acceptable." It explained.
Wait, something is not right.
"I'm not gonna become Monarch of Shadows, then which Monarch I'm gonna become?" I asked eagerly, I mean what can I say? All of them had cool powers, but Shadow Monarch and Monarch of Destruction were the strongest after all.
He chuckled before spreading his arms open for dramatic pause before tilting his head at me once more.
"Monarch of Plagues!"
Ok I suppose, I don't have anything against Querehsha's power, she looked cool honestly but she could have had more screen time though.. Young man though
"But there is a catch!"
'There is always a 'but'. ' Young man though, waiting for Cosmic being to continue it's talk.
"You will become the Queen of Insects which is requirement for being Monarch of Plagues, which in turn will transform your body into that one of a woman."
Young man's brain stopped working.exe.
His brain died.
"What do you mean I will become a woman!"
Was most calm response he could come up with.
Who would randomly go with this flow at this point!
"Calm down!" With one snap of Cosmic beings fingers, young man calmed down immensely. "Just as now I did, I could easily make you easily accept this new reality, change your personality, change or erase your memories. "
Young man just grumbled before sending a glare at Cosmic being, causing it to chuckle at young man.
