Night soon came again and the Alphas slept near Elena. This time, Xavier was at the bottom while Killian and Enzo clung to her side. She fell asleep early so they didn't have their night discussion. The men lifted their heads to the ceiling, expression unreadable but all had the same thoughts. This was happening and they had to accept it all now, for Elena's sake. They now had to come to terms with the fact that she didn't just belong to one of them. They had to make peace with it all soon.
"I'm sorry." Enzo finally said, breaking the silence. "I've been a dick since I arrived, especially to you Killian." He raked his hands through his hair then continued. "It's just…I don't know, everything still seems unbelievable and the fact that you are part demon, it's all so hard to swallow." He paused, trying to gather his thoughts together then finished, "I'm honestly sorry, that is it."
