Two more days passed and all seemed to be going well in the palace. Except, it wasn't actually going well, and so much was going to happen from then on. And that things would slowly start to change.
"I'm not scared of Killian, I'm more scared of what might happen in the future. There's this digging feeling in my gut that tells me something big is coming soon and that it would be linked to Killian." Elena had said to Enzo that day, her tone firm and eyes weary.
Enzo didn't say much after that and only provided Elena with the care and affection she needed. The tension between the brothers still seemed high but at least they weren't fighting. Instead, they'd gotten so busy, always leaving the palace from time to time.
"I would love to take you out today Elena, but I'm certain you're already traumatized from last time," Enzo murmured. He was holding Elena as they walked through the hallway after returning from the pup wings.
