Killian's jaw tensed, but he didn't flinch. Instead, he leaned in just as close, his voice dropping to a lethal whisper.
"Yet, she still looks at you like the real monster."
The air around them thickened again, pressing in with raw fury and years of buried wounds.
"Elena, let's go home." King Killian said softly, but to his surprise, as he turned to her, she wasn't there.
Both Xavier and Killian's eyes widened in horror as they both asked each other. "Where the fuck did she go?!"
"It's your fault!" They both said in unison as they glared at each other.
"No, it's your fault!" Again, they both yelled, fists clenched by their side.
