Daniel met his mother after returning home. The woman had finally come back, and when she saw her son, she was extremely surprised and happy.
Without delay, they hugged each other, and Liana was not willing to leave his arms for a long time. None of her children had been with her this week, and it had been a very hard time for her.
Even though she had made new friends and spent time with them, her children were still a part of her existence. They were the only reason she could continue living at all, the only reason her life had meaning.
"Hey, hey, I'm not going to run anywhere," Daniel laughed and finally managed to get out of his mother's embrace.
They both sat down and talked about different topics. Liana even wanted to get up and cook dinner for her son, but Daniel stopped her.
With his rank, hunger no longer had any meaning for him, and he only ate for the enjoyment of food. But it was clear that his mother was tired, and he didn't want to make her more exhausted.
