During the battle he had with that demon, his soul took extremely severe damage, so severe that he didn't think he could heal it on his own.
The only reason his soul managed to survive was because his soul was an Undying Soul Of Dragon.
If he didn't have such a soul, he would have completely collapsed and died. Even now, his soul was heavily damaged, and the completion percentage had dropped to 11%.
He even tried to increase its completion percentage using his own blood, but it didn't go above two times that amount. In other words, he needed to find another way.
But no method came to his mind except asking the dragons directly for help. After all, his soul had an unbreakable connection to dragons.
