'First I meet an old man who almost scared the shit out of me, then he sends me to a world that shouldn't exist... or so I think, then they force me to be part of a group, and all for what? To gather potatoes,' Finn thought, kneeling down, digging potatoes out of the ground. 'And my super OP powers? Where are they?'
"Ugh, it's so tiring!" Darwin complained, lying in the ground.
"Tsk, what are you complaining about? You were the one who chose the mission!" Finn yelled at Darwin. 'Why am I actually doing this?... Of course, I need money.'
Finn continued digging the potatoes out of the ground alongside Darwin, only to look up and see the vast field that stretched almost as far as Finn could see. Finn pouted slightly, wanting to cry, since they hadn't even gotten a tenth of the gigantic potato field.
"Why the hell is the field so big?!" Finn complained, starting to dig potatoes faster.
At dusk, Finn lay wearily on a mound of alfalfa in a barn, his arms aching and he could barely stand the pain in his back from being hunched over for so long.
"I can't believe it, we're barely a quarter of the way through the whole harvest," said Darwin wearily plopping down next to a cow. "At this rate we'll be done in three more days!" then he grabbed one of the cow's udders and pointed it towards his mouth, spurting a stream of milk.
"If you hadn't been complaining for half a day we'd have had a lot more by now!" complained Finn angrily.
"How can I not complain, my hands are killing me!" replied Darwin, shooting another stream of cum into his mouth.
"And they're going to hurt more every day if we don't finish this quickly," said Finn.
"Sigh, and I thought the life of an adventurer would be full of adventure, danger and money," said Darwin.
"Why don't you venture out and collect potatoes faster instead?" asked Finn.
"Noo I don't want to gather potatoes anymore!" complained Darwin kicking his feet next to the cow who was looking at him like he was crazy "Just lets get this job done now" said Darwin going back to drinking milk from the cow.
"Stop drinking the cow's milk, lest we get charged for it too!" complained Finn looking at Darwin.
"But I'm thirsty... I know, you're stressed because you're thirsty too!" said Darwin pointing the cow's udder at Finn and then squirting milk in his face.
"What the hell, man. I don't want to drink cow's milk, its not even processed!" complained Finn.
The two argued for a while until they fell asleep in the barn.
The next few days were exactly the same, Finn and Darwin spending all day in the field gathering potatoes and occasionally talking to the farmer and his wife who had requested the mission, the farmer was a rather kindly old man and his wife a very active and lively for her age. On the afternoon of the third day, Finn and Darwin finally managed to gather all the potatoes from the farm and bring the mission to an end. The elders were deeply grateful to the two of them, they said that age no longer allowed them to work as they used to in their youth, and now it took them almost three times longer than before.
That same afternoon the two decided to leave and now they were walking back to the capital, their clothes were full of dust, dirt and cow's milk, but they were happy because they had managed to complete the mission in only three days.
"I can't wait to get back to the guild and get my pay," said Darwin wearily.
"I just want to get to bathe and sleep, I miss my bed..." said Finn shuffling his feet as he walked 'I also miss my house, my video games, the internet, the music and most of all grandma... she made really good food'.
"Hey Finn, you really don't remember anything?" asked Darwin out of the blue surprising Finn for a moment.
"You mean before I could talk?" asked Finn back.
"Yeah, I mean, before you could talk you had done a lot of things, did you forget all that?" asked Darwin and Finn finally understood what he meant.
"Not all of it... it's a bit fuzzy, I remember certain places; the guild, my house, the guild infirmary, some armour and weapon shops; as for people, I don't remember anyone, everyone is like a blur moving from one place to another... though I can remember some voices from when I was sent on missions" Finn clarified.
"What about your quests? Do you remember fighting and facing monsters with your old companions?" asked Darwin "I understand that you used to fight monsters before and also according to me you never failed your quests".
"No, I can remember seeing some monsters, but they are just silhouettes, slightly lighter than people, but other than that I don't remember fighting or even anything from my previous missions per se," said Finn.
"That sucks, waking up one day and not being able to know the slightest thing about yourself or what you've done in your life," said Darwin trying to understand what Finn was going through.
"Yeah... it sucks," Finn replied.

The two continued walking until nightfall when they finally reached the capital, without deviating in the slightest the two went directly to the guild, they both wanted their payments at once. Upon arriving at the guild the two entered heading towards the reception without deviating in the slightest, some adventurers looked at them curious about the conditions in which Finn and darwin were coming.
"Hey Damian!" Darwin called, leaning on the reception bar and calling out to Damian.
Finn watched intently as Darwin continued to call out to Damian unable to notice as a girl slowly approached him from behind. The first thing Finn noticed about the girl were her curious curled horns sticking out of her head and her wavy white hair.
Amelia stood behind Darwin with a board she used to help her write without the need of a table, then she raised it up and gave Darwin a hard blow making the board creak and surprising Finn by the force of the blow.
"Agh, who the f..." Darwin turned to see who had hit him, but when he saw Amelia in front of him he stopped dead in his tracks and began to sweat nervously "A...Amelia...good to see you."
"You've got some balls to team up with Finn the day before I got here!" exclaimed Amelia angrily.
"Wait, wait, Damian should have already told you why!" said Darwin backing away quickly in fear "It all happened so fast and I knew how much you wanted us to team up, plus Damian was supposed to give up our group to you, he said so!"
"tsk, and you're lucky he did" Amelia stated angrily turning to look at Finn, walking slowly towards him.
'sigh, can't keep her happy with anything...' thought darwin touching himself where amelia hit him.
"Hi, Finn, how are you doing...is the wound not bothering you anymore?" asked Amelia changing her angry tone to a gentler and calmer one, taking Finn by the face.
"I... I guess not" replied Finn not knowing what to do or how to react to Amelia. Finn looked directly into Amelia's eyes, noticing that they were a golden or dark yellow colour.
"That's good..." said Amelia giving him a slight smile and then started to shake the dirt off Finn's shirt.
After a few seconds Amelia's brow furrowed in confusion; she looked at Finn for a moment then shook her head and continued shaking the dust off his shirt for another few seconds before looking back at Finn more confused. Darwin noticed this, starting to sweat from nerves, he knew that with Amelia's temper he was sure to blame her for Finn being able to talk.
"Excuse me?" asked Amelia looking at Finn, her eyes showing confusion and disbelief.
"You're sorry" replied Finn
"Ha...haha...haha...haha" Amelia started laughing turning to look between Darwin and Finn "I think...I think I'm not feeling well...did you hear that?" asked Amelia looking at Darwin.
Darwin seeing amelia's reaction slowly approached her, trying to get her to calm down.
"Amelia... just breathe, I know this is very sudden but I swear this is true..." said Darwin, but before he could continue Amelia's fist sent him crashing with great force against the reception bar alerting Damian who now did come out at the noise caused.
"One mission... ONE FUCKING MISSION WAS ENOUGH FOR YOU TO MAKE HIM TALK!!!" shouted an upset Amelia.
Amelia clutched her hair frustrated, confused and scared, she had so many emotions in her at the moment that she couldn't express herself well. Damian seeing this motioned for Finn to slowly back away, Finn understood but before he could do anything Amelia grabbed his face again pulling him closer to her.
"You really spoke?" asked Amelia seeing Finn's face of confusion and fear "Is it really you? What's my name?
"Amelia I guess" replied Finn upsetting Amelia.
"By athena, if you speak!" exclaimed Amelia more upset "How!?"
"Amelia, calm down it was all so..." darwin tried to explain getting up slowly, but was sent crashing to the ground by a hard slap on the head from amelia
Shit, how strong is he?' wondered Finn in fright, seeing Darwin on the floor.
"Now what the fuck did you do Darwin!?!?" asked Amelia.
"It wasn't me I swear, don't hit me anymore!" explained Darwin being helped by damian "He woke up cured three days ago!" he tried to explain before amelia hit him again.
"Curses don't heal!" replied Amelia.
"It's uncursed!" said Darwin quickly.
"How?" asked Amelia more upset.
"With faith," replied Darwin.
"Faith doesn't take away curses, you moron!" said Amelia then turned to look at Finn, who didn't know what to do. Looking at Finn directly for a few moments, Amelia came to a conclusion "You're not Finn!" said Amelia before attacking Finn.
"Wait!" Finn only managed to say.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow it hurts!!!" complained Finn.
"I'm so sorry Finn" apologised amelia putting an ice pack on Finn's eye.
"So now you can not only talk, but also show emotions like the rest of us" said damian sitting down next to darwin and handing him an ice pack "I knew it wasn't my imagination"
"That's what I tried to tell you..." said darwin putting the bag over his face, his head was clearly swollen, he had tried to stop amelia while she was hitting Finn, but he only ended up getting the worst of it.
"I can do it myself amelia" said Finn trying to grab the string bag, but amelia swatted his hand.
"Hush you don't know!" said Amelia refusing "Is this even possible?" Amelia asked looking at Damian
Damian looked carefully at a screen in front of him with Finn's image, from his point of view and the tests he had done on Finn, Damian believed that everything was perfectly fine with Finn.
"Well, according to the guild base, the Finn in front of us is exactly the same as the one we knew, the only difference is that his anima increased exponentially, which in fact would indicate that Finn somehow managed to recover the missing part of his soul. this would explain how he can now talk and act just like us" said Damian a little confused.
"But how is that possible, the curse is supposed to have consumed 90% of his soul, how are you supposed to get back something that no longer exists?" asked Amelia incredulously.
"No... According to what Merlin told us, Finn suffered the attack of a demon 15 years ago, that day Finn was put under a curse and lost 90% of his soul leaving him almost like an empty shell, but still he could move and think enough to understand what he had to do to survive" Damian examined trying to come to a conclusion "Until now all of us who know Finn believed that the demon had eaten that part of the soul through the curse since the soul could never come back to Finn before, but maybe it wasn't like that, maybe the demon didn't put a consuming curse and could only put a kind of restriction on Finn's body for a certain time which kept the soul from being able to access the body"
"Like a time stamp?" asked Amelia.
"Yes, something like that. That's the only thing I can think of" said damian "We'll have to wait for the master to come to the guild and look into it himself or send a letter to merlin to find out if this is possible" said damian.
"Hum, yeah, sounds good to me, I could also look into the guild library, there are a lot of books on anima research due to the recent events in the last 10 years" said amelia
"Sounds like a plan to me, until then we need to keep an eye on him in case something untoward happens with his soul again" damian ordered looking at Finn sitting down "Fine I'll take my leave, I still have work to do"

Damian nodded and left Amelia's office.
"Alright you idiots, gather round!" said Amelia grabbing Finn by the head and giving him a kiss on the cheek and then repeating the process with Darwin.
"What? The pain is gone all of a sudden!" said Finn, amazed that his cheeks were no longer sore.
"That's because of Amelia's ability, half mytt usually have special abilities and Amelia has the ability to heal minor wounds through a kiss" said Darwin.
'mytt? you mean beast humans?' thought Finn.
"That's right, I'm a half lamb mytt" confirmed Amelia putting her hands on her hips "Mytt get characteristics from the animals they are related to, wolf mytt are fast and precise, as well as having athletic bodies; lions are strong and usually have muscular bodies and long hair; horses are fast and tough, they are usually tall and have very defined bodies, so on and so forth".
Finn nodded slowly at Amelia's explanation and then looked at Amelia's huge legs and big ass.
"Tsk, yeah, my ass is also part of the mytt lamb characteristics!" exclaimed Amelia knowing what Finn was thinking "Now come on, I'll give you your pay for completing the mission" said Amelia leaving the office.
"See? I told you she had a huge ass," said Darwin next to Finn who nodded.
Yep, it's definitely his panties' thought Finn.
Amelia accompanied Finn and Darwin back to the guild again where she handed them their payment for completing the mission and then followed them to the guild door to say goodbye to them, as it was already quite late and the guild was about to close.
"Finn are you sure you're feeling alright?" asked Amelia catching Finn's attention "Nothing hurts... like your back for example?" asked Amelia confusing Finn, but making Darwin look at Finn serious at the question. He was also waiting for the answer
"No, I feel good," Finn said.
"Good, that's good" said Amelia giving them both a hug before kicking them out of the guild "Now get out you idiots, I have to clean up the guild before we close" she said closing the guild doors.
"Is it just me or is Amelia a bit bipolar?" asked Finn looking at Darwin.
"You just noticed? just be thankful she doesn't have a more destructive third side" said darwin starting to walk away from the guild "See you tomorrow Finn."

Finn arrived at his room in the inn he lived in, walking up the stairs he greeted the old man at the front desk and then walked up to his room on the 3rd floor. Finn arrived at his room, taking a quick bath and then standing in the bathroom mirror thinking about Amelia's question, turning around slowly, Finn let out a sigh of disbelief. On his back was a large scar running from his right shoulder to the lower left side of his waist along with several scars in the shape of circles running along the long scar.
"But what the fuck..." said Finn looking at the huge wound "that thing is so wide and deep... what the fuck happened to the other Finn?"
