An undead knight lunged at Riven, its rusted blade cutting through the air with a shriek. Riven sidestepped, his movements sharp and instinctive, then slashed upward. His blade cleaved through the knight's neck in a single motion, the skull flying into the air. Without hesitation, he caught it mid-flight and hurled it with all his strength into another undead, shattering its face on impact.
His eyes darted from one threat to another.
A sword whistled behind him. He ducked, spun, and drove his blade into the attacker's gut before releasing a Flame Blast point-blank. The explosion tore through the creature, scattering burning bones across the frozen stone.
But for every enemy that fell, three more took its place. The horde was endless.
"This isn't working," Twilight's voice rang out in his head.
"I know," Riven grunted, cutting down another skeleton.
