After he talked about Force and Runes, here comes the interesting part that made me stay awake.
"How to build a simple version of Rune Tree." He said, making the class agape.
"But, professor, I thought that one needs to be a Guardian to have a Rune Tree?" One of them asked.
"That's true. But what you didn't know was that you can build a simple version of Rune Tree by yourselves." He said. When he noticed everyone's excitement, he rushed to add: "But keep in mind the dire consequence of what will happen if you make a mistake. Just because I said you can build a simple version of Rune Tree by yourselves, means there is no consequence." Then the students smile turned upside down.
For zolgarians who hasn't become Guardians yet, but they have reached a certain level of manipulating Force, they can make a simple Rune Tree version by themselves.
The original Rune Tree is more advanced and has complex design. Even though the books explained that it looks like a tree, except, instead of leaves, Runes were placed in their stead, it is harder to carve it to an orb-sized core.
Our Force Core doesn't grow big in size, but only in capacity. No matter how large the capacity of our core is, that doesn't change the fact that it is still small.
And for zolgarians who wants to break through the level, a simple version of Rune Tree was created.
To carve one, a zolgarian needs to have a Rune Stone and an efficiency of Force to use in carving for their core. Instead of drawing a complex design of Rune Tree, a zolgarian needs to carve the shape of the Runes so that the stone could fit in perfectly.
To add to that, you can only place one Rune Stone with the simple version of Rune Tree.
But that's the hardest part. The smallest detail.
You can't just draw and assume it can fit perfectly. If one just draws mindlessly without planning, then the stone will be either loose or won't fit in. Guess what? If there is no Rune Stone placed in the carved section, congratulations! You just damaged your core permanently and it will be like that forever, making it a hassle to carve the actual Rune Tree.
To add fuel to the flames, it will be difficult accumulating energy because of your "broken" core.
That is also the reason why I didn't experiment on this one. I was never good at art. The last time I tried drawing an apple, I accidentally drew a bomb, scaring the kids from the middle east because they thought I was threatening them.
But that is a different story to tell for another day.
