Arthur's POV
"Finally, we're back home!" Silvera said as we got to the other side of the Force Gate. The fresh air followed the lovely fragrance struck our flesh and nose, making us relax the moment we felt the peace from our surroundings.
After a long battle, we are finally finished with the Welcome Ceremony. It was a gruesome, yet thrilling battle. Even though we almost died, thanks to our perseverance and teamwork, we got out of the field alive.
However, now that we finally got to relax, fatigue and pain soon caught up to all of us. We haven't even stepped away for five meters from the Force Gate, and we all dropped to the ground as if a bowling ball just hit us. The thud echoed throughout the gymnasium, and the last thing I heard was "Medics! Medics!".

A day has gone by, and the professors invited all of the first-year students to a dinner party of the aftermath of Welcome Ceremony. I didn't want to go honestly, but my stomach was so empty that my mind went from: "I'm not hungry" to "I'm hungry" in an instant I said I didn't want to attend.
In the end, I accepted the invitation and went to the dinner party.
The party was located somewhere at a hotel, outside the academy, but still in its territory. The first-year students were enjoying themselves, forgetting about the nightmare they had gone through yesterday's ceremony.
Of course, my group was there as well.
Silvera was munching down as much food as her mouth could chug down her throat. Watson was talking to a small group of females. Rain was drinking alone in the corner of the room. While...
Teresia.
Suddenly, yesterday's event caught up to me. What stood out to me the most was Teresia fighting with me side by side to get to Silvera. I know it was only for a brief moment, but I found the moment sublime.
But I'm glad that we are all alive. After that nightmarish battle, here we are enjoying the buffet with a smile on our faces.
