Both Seraphina and Gabriel didn't say a word for a full minute. Gabriel's mind was still occupied with the northern camp, so he didn't hear Seraphina calling his name.
"Gabriel." Seraphina called for the third time, finally snapping him out of his daze.
"Umu?" Gabriel asked, turning his attention to her.
"Did we just successfully share our progress with each other?" she asked, her eyes widening in shock.
Gabriel's expression cracked slightly. Perhaps it was because of the rewards he hadn't been paying attention to, or maybe it had simply skipped his mind. But indeed, he had been able to share his progress with Seraphina.
"Does this mean we are now compatible?" Seraphina spoke, her tone edged with excitement.
Gabriel frowned and stretched out his hands once again. "Try to show me your current stats. That's the only way to confirm."
