Upon hearing that his base was under attack, Gabriel immediately excused himself from the crowd and dashed toward the city gate, generating a violent gust of wind that slammed into the surrounding spectators.
"Where is he going?"
"What happened?"
His sudden movement startled those at the back who had not heard the report.
But for the likes of Scarlet, Liang Aras, and Jack, it was already clear what was happening.
"Sister, did you hear that we are under attack?" Alice asked, turning to Scarlet with urgency clear in her voice.
"Yes, I heard it." Scarlet frowned, a hint of annoyance slipping into her usually emotionless tone.
"So what are we going to do? Broken Dawn is our ally, right?"
"Come. Let us go check it out." Scarlet said, already moving after Gabriel.
Alice followed immediately with a helpless sigh, while Lilly hurried along behind them.
