Chapter 52 - First True Hero in The History

(Think of this Part as when madara pins edo tobirama to the ground without showing how it happens—yeah, that scene.)

His blade was gone.

Rain's heel pressed down on his chest, pinning him to the broken earth. Reinhart gasped, bloodied, his face swollen and smeared with dirt and blood, his armor cracked, his spirit fraying at the edges.

Rain knelt slightly, resting an elbow on her knee, smirking.

"Tch. That was all you had?" "Honestly disappointing, Reinhart. I thought maybe I'd sweat a little."

She leaned closer, her ice-blue eyes gleaming coldly.

"Anyway, don't feel too bad. Once I'm done with you, I'll go check in on Misery. Poor girl might be getting tired—do you think that Karlos guy can take two of us at once?"

Reinhart tried to move. He couldn't. His limbs wouldn't respond. His vision blurred. And still, Rain smiled.

"Then we'll hit your capital. Solara, right? It'll burn beautifully. Your friends, your family… they'll die thinking you failed them."

[Reinhart's Resolve—The Awakening Begins]

Her words cut deeper than any blade.

His mind spun, falling deeper into guilt and despair. He could already see it—Karlos falling, Zalario outnumbered, Solara in flames, Darius dying trying to defend it...

"No..."

He muttered it at first.

"No... I can't... die here."

Rain tilted her head, still amused.

"What was that?"

"I… refuse to lose—not now!"

[Hero Egg – Awakening Triggered]

A brilliant golden light burst from within Reinhart's chest, spreading outward in radiant waves.

Rain flinched back, instinctively shielding her eyes as she leapt away, landing several meters back. The force of the light shattered the cracked ground beneath Reinhart.

Above his body, something invisible cracked—like an egg hatching.

Voice of the World (Internal): "Chosen Hero Egg has hatched. True Hero evolution complete."

[Reinhart—Rebirth of the Hero]

His wounds healed instantly. Bruised skin faded, and bones snapped back into place. His torn armor mended itself, now glowing with celestial etchings—a shining white and gold cuirass befitting a divine warrior.

The sword Rain had thrown away flew back, spinning like a beacon through the air—caught cleanly in Reinhart's hand.

The once-legendary blade had transformed. Now radiating divine energy, it had become a God-Class Artifact, its edge wreathed in golden light.

Reinhart's eyes opened—clear, bright, unwavering.

His silver hair flowed, his body cloaked in an aura of radiant hope.

[Ultimate Skill: Hope King – Fortuna Unlocked]

[Reinhart Rises—The Real Fight Begins]

He stood tall, light crackling off his new godblade.

Rain's playful smirk had faded. She now watched warily.

"That light… it's annoying."

Reinhart raised his sword and pointed it at her.

"You pushed me to the edge, Rain."

"So now, you get to fight me at full strength."

His voice was calm, his presence unshakable.

"The real battle starts now.

Amidst their ongoing, high-speed, clash-of-titans battle, Zalario's gaze shifted slightly.

A faint smile tugged at the corner of his lips.

"So… he finally did it."

Guy, mid-swing, caught the sudden rise in Zalario's aura—and the golden tremor of light far away.

"Hoh? That burst… Was that your human?"

He clicked his tongue in annoyance, then chuckled.

"Well, well. This is getting more interesting than I expected."

[Scene: Karlos vs. Misery—Laughter from the Abyss]

In the grasslands consumed by void and ice, Karlos's magicules flared—but not in aggression.

He began laughing.

A loud, hearty, chaotic laugh.

"AHAHAHAHA! Reinhart, you dog—you finally did it! A true hero, huh?! Damn!"

He twirled his hand, summoning back shadows to his side as Abyss King Nox pulsed.

"That's my buddy! The real deal!"

Misery narrowed her eyes, her stance shifting subtly.

"So that light show was your human?"

She smiled faintly, amused but wary.

"Guess this fight just turned real."

[Scene: Solara—Throne Room]

Far away in the radiant heart of Solara, the golden capital, the throne room trembled faintly.

A sudden brilliance washed over the land—brief, blinding, and warm.

Velsun, seated on the obsidian-and-gold throne, rested his chin on his hand as he felt the shift in the world's balance.

His lips curved into a slow, proud smirk.

"Mimir… He did it, didn't he?"

From deep within his mind, the old, sarcastic voice of his ultimate skill answered.

"Aye, lad. Reinhart has finally awakened. The Hero Egg hatched. That's the first true hero since the world was born."

Velsun exhaled through his nose in satisfaction.

"Tch… Finally. Took him long enough."

He closed his eyes for a second, then opened them again—gleaming with light.

"You finally did it, Reinhart."

"Great work… the first true hero in history before Rudra."

His grin widened.

"Now… we wait."

The golden sunlight from Reinhart's awakening had faded, but the afterglow still lingered in the air, as if the world itself had exhaled in awe.

Seated upon his ornate throne, Velsun, the True Dragon of the Sun, remained still—eyes closed, chin resting lightly on his knuckles.

A smirk tugged at his lips, laced with both amusement and pride.

"Hm... who would've thought?" He murmured softly to himself.

"After reincarnating into this world... I've changed the history books without even trying to."

His golden eyes opened slowly—calm, clear, and burning with quiet fire.

"Zalario… my friend, a Primordial Angel, wielder of Israfil."

"Karlos… the overly loyal daemon I raised myself. I gave him a name and guided his evolution. The first Awakened Demon Lord in history, and now a Daemon Emperor. I stole that title from Guy long before he could claim it."

He chuckled softly, the sound low but sharp.

"And now… Reinhart. My general. My blade. The first true hero in all of history, before Rudra was even a name whispered in legend."

He leaned back, gazing up at the high stained glass windows, where light poured in like divine acknowledgment.

"I've taken the right of 'firsts'—both the first True Demon Lord and the first True Hero—from those who were meant to bear them."

His voice dropped to a whisper, yet it carried weight.

"Who would dare mess with a kingdom like mine?"

"A kingdom whose ruler is a True Dragon..."

"Whose general is a True Hero,"

"Whose daemon butler is a Daemon Emperor,"

"And who counts among his closest friends a Primordial Angel?"

"And, of course… my younger brother, the chaotic storm himself—Veldora, another True Dragon."

He tilted his head slightly, a thin smile forming.

Velsun's grin widened just slightly as the sun filtered through the stained glass, casting golden streaks across the throne room floor.

And then—

"Uh… lad," Mimir's dry voice echoed in his mind, the usual sarcastic edge sharper than ever. "You're sounding like some sort of smug-ass final boss monologuing before the credits roll. You okay there?"

Velsun blinked, taken aback.

"...Huh? What the hell, Mimir? I was just stating facts. Nothing else."

"Mhm. Sure," the wise-cracking ultimate skill muttered. "Just 'facts,' like how you're the god-king of Solara, creator of demon lords, mentor of heroes, collector of dragons—yeah, real humble-like, that."

Velsun rolled his eyes, chuckling under his breath.

"Still just facts, though."

"Yea, just facts," Mimir replied, mockingly echoing his tone. "Next thing you'll be saying is 'kneel before me, mortals,' and building a throne made out of people's expectations."

Velsun leaned back, arms crossed with a half-smile.

"Mmm… tempting."

"...Lad. Therapy. Soon."
