Chapter 27 - Heaven VS Hell (2)

And I watched from afar, heart pounding.

Two existences on the verge of divinity, dancing between annihilation and sup

My excitement kept growing. This was a battle of pure destruction, a clash of two forces that could level an entire kingdom. The ground cracked, mountains shattered, and the air seemed to hum with power as Karlos and Zalario fought with everything they had.

I couldn't help but grin. This is insane!

"Hey, Mimir," I spoke to the voice in my head, "what do you think? This battle is amazing."

Mimir's voice rang in my mind, calm and thoughtful. "Indeed, lad. The power you're witnessing is on a whole new level. A catastrophe-level daemon like Karlos and an angel of Zalario's caliber... It's as though the world itself is being torn apart. This is the kind of battle that makes the very elements quake."

I could feel the energy in the air shift as both of them ramped up their powers. Karlos' Abyss King Nox was creating rifts of blackness that devoured anything they touched, while Zalario's Israfel — Lord of Judgment manipulated the very fabric of space around him, countering Karlos' every move with his divine control.

"You think you can control everything, angel?" Karlos mocked as he slashed at Zalario, the void behind him flickering like an unpredictable storm. "Your judgment is too slow."

Zalario's glowing sword flashed in a blinding arc, deflecting Karlos' attack with divine precision. "I don't need to control everything," he said, his voice cutting through the chaos. "I just need to control you."

The energy between them was so intense I could feel it on my skin, even from a distance. The entire area was warping around them, and I couldn't help but feel just how small the world seemed in the face of their power.

Catastrophe-level. These two were the definition of it.

"Isn't it fun to watch?" Mimir chuckled in my mind. "But remember, lad—this is only the beginning. Karlos isn't going to stop until he's crushed his opponent, and Zalario... well, he has his own tricks up his sleeve."

I nodded. "Let's see what happens next then."

And with that, I focused my attention back on the battlefield, eagerly waiting for the next devastating move.

But i quickly realised something.

"oh shit I forgot to form a barrier."

Realizing my mistake, I quickly snapped my fingers, and the air around me shimmered as I activated a powerful barrier. The space surrounding the battlefield was suddenly surrounded by a translucent, shimmering force field—completely sealing off the area from any unwanted intrusion.

"That's better," I muttered to myself, making sure no one could interfere with the battle.

Mimir's voice came through again, slightly amused. "Ah, I see you're taking precautions now. Wise move, lad. We wouldn't want any interruptions during such a grand spectacle."

As the two titans continued to clash before me, I felt a sense of satisfaction. This battle was going to be one for the ages, and no one would be able to interfere. Everything was under control.

"Now, let's enjoy the show," I whispered, keeping my eyes fixed on Karlos and Zalario as they unleashed their full potential.

Both of them were giving it their all, and the energy was intense. But now, nothing could stop the ultimate clash between these catastrophe-class beings.

The two figures were nothing more than streaks of light in the sky, their movements so fast that only the strongest of beings could comprehend what was happening. To the naked eye, it was just a blur—an impossible flurry of strikes and parries, each sword clash sending shockwaves through the atmosphere. But for me, it was crystal clear.

Karlos, with his newfound power as a True Demon Lord, moved with an arrogance that only someone of his caliber could possess. His massive sword, imbued with the darkness of his Abyss King "Nox" skill, cracked the air with each swing. His eyes gleamed with a cold, calculated malice, as if he was savoring every moment of the battle. He wasn't taking this fight seriously—at least, not until Zalario forced him to.

Zalario, on the other hand, was a different story. His movements were like poetry in motion, swift, precise, and almost divine. His sword—imbued with the power of the Isafril, Lord of Judgment—shone with radiant energy as it sliced through the air, controlling not just the space around it, but the very flow of time and matter within his area of influence. Each strike, each movement was an absolute display of mastery over space itself.

Their swords clashed with a resounding clang, a shockwave radiating out from the point of impact that sent ripples through the air. The force was enough to send the ground beneath us quaking, but I could feel it all—the immense pressure of their power, the sheer force of their will.

Karlos smirked arrogantly. "Is that all, angel? You seem to be holding back."

Zalario's expression was stoic, yet his movements were flawless. "You may be strong, Karlos, but strength alone does not win battles. Strategy does."

With that, Zalario's blade blurred, and the space around Karlos began to warp. The pressure on him intensified as Zalario's Isafril skill expanded, controlling the very flow of the air around him. Karlos's eyes widened slightly—a rare sign of surprise—but he quickly recovered, twisting his blade in a fluid motion to slice through the distortion.

The sky above us was alive with light and shadow as they continued their clash, both sides seemingly evenly matched in their raw power. But I could feel the tension building, the energy crackling in the air, as they both pushed their limits. This was no longer just a fight—it was a war between two titans.

"This is incredible, lad," Mimir's voice echoed in my mind. "You're witnessing a clash of the highest order—true catastrophe-class beings. A spectacle worthy of legends."

I couldn't help but grin. This was exactly what I had been hoping for—a battle to remember, between two of the most powerful beings I had ever encountered. And I had a front-row seat to it all.

The clash continued, an unstoppable storm of power that seemed to tear apart the very fabric of reality itself. The air vibrated with the force of each strike, while the heavens themselves seemed to tremble in anticipation. Karlos and Zalario were no longer just fighting—they were weaving a tapestry of destruction, each movement leaving a mark on the world itself.

Karlos's sword, drenched in the void of darkness, sliced through the very air, creating rifts in space that seemed to swallow light. The Abyss King "Nox" skill allowed him to manipulate darkness as though it were a physical weapon, each strike carrying with it the weight of death itself. Shadows followed his every move, expanding with each swing of his blade. His form was like a god of the abyss—unrelenting, unstoppable.

"You're strong," Karlos said, a rare smile stretching across his face. "But don't think you can win just by twisting space around me. I will not be bound by the laws of this world!"

With a roar, Karlos's sword crackled with dark energy, and a massive wave of void energy surged toward Zalario. The ground itself trembled as the blast shot forward, warping the very air in its wake.

Zalario, however, was unfazed. His movements were calm, precise, like a conductor guiding an orchestra. His Isafril skill flared, and the space around him warped in response. The incoming attack was met with an enormous pulse of energy, and in an instant, the space around them bent and twisted as though reality itself was being rewritten.

"Strength alone will never be enough to defeat me," Zalario said, his voice calm yet tinged with the weight of eons of wisdom. "You can manipulate the dark, Karlos, but I control the flow of everything—light, darkness, time, and matter."

The collision between their forces was like an explosion of cosmic energy. The shockwave spread across the land, tearing apart the earth beneath them, but neither fighter seemed to flinch. Karlos's grin only widened as he pushed more of his energy into the attack, but Zalario's response was swift. The Lord of Judgment raised his sword, and in a single, effortless motion, space itself bent and twisted around him, forming a protective shield of pure, radiant energy.
