Chapter 129 - Chapter: The Man Behind the Chaos

The air in the Global Hero Organization's headquarters was still, yet a deep sense of unease lingered. Inside a darkened chamber, a single holographic screen flickered, replaying the horrors of the tournament—the chaos, the beasts, the screams.

At the center of the room, seated in a grand, throne-like chair, was a man dressed in a regal black and gold suit. His crimson eyes gleamed with amusement as he watched the footage. A slow, satisfied chuckle escaped his lips.

🔥 "Fascinating… Watching those so-called heroes struggle in vain, how utterly entertaining."

His voice was smooth, confident, yet carried a chilling malice beneath it.

This man was Asmodeus Cain, the Supreme Director of the Global Hero Organization.

The mastermind behind the tournament massacre.

🔥 "And to think, after all these years of planning, it was two unknowns who gave me the best show… Ravihiro and Krishima."

He leaned forward, resting his chin on his hand, eyes narrowing.

🔥 "But why… Why did they not perish like the others? Why were they able to stand against those monsters?"

A smirk played on his lips.

🔥 "No matter. The experiment was a success."

He turned to a panel of holographic displays, each showing different continents, cities, and classified data.

🔥 "The world has become complacent. They rely too much on their 'Avatars of Gods.' They believe divinity makes them untouchable."

🔥 "But divinity… is a lie."

His voice grew sharper, his expression darker.

🔥 "Only chaos can reveal true strength. Only through destruction can we evolve into something greater."

He tapped on a screen, revealing a secret file labeled "PROJECT PURGE."

🔥 "This is just the beginning. The tournament was merely a test… Soon, the world will know true fear."

The room fell into silence—until a whisper of movement broke it.

In the shadows behind Asmodeus, something shifted.

A sudden realization dawned upon him. He was not alone.

🔥 "Hmph." His smirk returned. "I was wondering when you'd show yourself."

From the darkness, a voice responded—low, cold, and utterly emotionless.

🔥 "You're quite talkative for a dead man."

Before Asmodeus could react—SPLASH!

A crimson spray of blood burst into the air.

His body froze, eyes widening. A sharp pain bloomed from his abdomen. He looked down—a blade had pierced through his stomach.

Behind him, standing tall with a cold, merciless gaze—was Krishima.

🔥 "You think you control chaos," Krishima whispered, "but you are nothing more than its first victim."

🔥 "Guh…!" Asmodeus coughed blood, gripping his wound.

🔥 "Fool… Do you think… killing me… will stop this?"

Krishima leaned in, whispering in his ear.

🔥 "No. But it will be satisfying."

SPLASH.

With a single motion, Krishima twisted the blade. Blood gushed from the wound. Asmodeus let out a strangled gasp, his body convulsing.

🔥 "Tch." Krishima pulled out the blade and let the lifeless body slump onto the floor.

He wiped the blood off his weapon and turned towards the flickering holographic screens.

🔥 "Your game is over, Asmodeus… but mine is just beginning."

His icy red eyes glowed in the dim light.

As the blood pooled beneath him, a dark storm loomed on the horizon.
