Rain
The night sky split open-the heavens wept, but it was not water that fell.
It was blood.
Thick, dark red droplets poured from above, painting the battlefield in a crimson hue.
Bodies lay twisted and broken, their limbs bent in unnatural angles. The ground, soaked in pools of red, reflected the light of the burning wreckage around them.
In the middle of it all-
Ravihiro stood.
His head tilted back, arms spread wide, letting the rain of blood bathe him like a god's blessing.
And then-
He laughed.
No.
That wasn't a laugh.
It was a terrifying, deadly, haunting cackle.
His mask, a three-eyed demonic face had become one with his flesh. Its features twisted unnaturally, the grin stretching wider as his laughter echoed
The leader of the attackers lay on the ground, his body shaking in horror. He couldn't move.
This wasn't a man.
It was a nightmare given form.
"Please...!" The leader gasped, his voice barely a whisper. "Have... mercy...!"
Ravihiro's laughter suddenly stopped.
Silence.
Deafening silence.
The leader dared to look up.
Ravihiro was staring down at him.
No expression.
No mercy.
Boom.
Splatter.
The leader's head exploded.
Like a fruit crushed underfoot.
His skull fragments and brain matter painted the ground in a gruesome display of carnage.
The blood rained even harder.
And Ravihiro?
He laughed again.
No.
He screamed in unholy joy.
Like he had waited for this moment forever.
The Unthinkable
Then-
Ravihiro turned.
His glowing red eyes locked onto Purvi's unconscious body.
The bloodlust in his gaze didn't fade.
It intensified.
Bad.
He's gone too far.
He's not thinking anymore
He's... hunting.
And in a blur of movement-
Ravihiro lunged at Purvi's unconscious form.
A deadly clawed hand reached for her throat.
CRACK!
A powerful force slammed into Ravihiro's chest.
BOOM!
He was thrown backward, skidding through the bloody battlefield.
He flipped once, twice- and then landed on his feet like a beast.
His mask twisted, his neck cracking unnaturally.
And standing before Purvi-
The Sky Demon Sect Leader.
Lord Bhridvarta
His hand smoking from the attack.
His face deadly serious.
"Enough, Ravihiro."
But Ravihiro-
He only tilted his head.
A distorted chuckle echoed.
"You're in my way
The Hunt Continues
BOOM!
The ground exploded beneath him.
Ravihiro rushed forward-
But this time-Four more figures appeared.
Huo, Rumina, Haruno, and Kalki.
They blocked his path.
Their eyes filled with shock- and fear.
This wasn't Ravihiro.
This was... something else
"Ravihiro!" Rumina shouted. "Come back to your senses!"
But Ravihiro-
He laughed louder.
And then-
His rings appeared.
