When everyone was ready they senmt through gate, he could feel a formation working there but he wasn't able to know what it was. When he came out, there was a large ground with few trees and grass area.
He moved forward without finding anything for hours. After two hours of travelling he arrived at small stream where he decided to rest for some time.
'Maybe i can hunt some beasts if i find any.' he thought as demonic beasts skins is reall tough that can be sold but his luck wasn't that good.
After waiting for some time when he didn't get any thing he finally decided to move ahead. As he moved ahead density of trees was getting thicker so he knew that he was about to enter the forest.
Just when he was thinking of running ahead and entering a forest he finally heard sounds of fighting. He moved slowly so that not to alert any one, when he reached there he saw a group of desciples fighting a Tire 2 demonic beast. It was Ironshell Bull known for there strong defence and 4 desciples were not able to overpower him even after working together.
The most interesting thing was the green badge hanging in his neck. It was the reason for them to fight but i don't know how they were going to decided who will keep the badge at last if they manage to defeat the beast and acquire the badge.
He decided not to disturb them and wait for them to exhaust the beast or themselves before taking any action.
All of them were at third stage of Qi Manifestation realm but after thinking about that some others could be attracted by the fight and things will get complicated.
'Its better to act first, its not like they can stop me.' he murmured and decided to act first
Other four desciples decide to retreat because they were not able to injure the beast and they noticed Shen xiao moving towards them.
When saw that his culivation was lower then them they became brave and decided to take his advantage. One of them spoke "hey, come here"
Shen Xiao looked at them as other continued "Help and we will protect you and help you get the badges in future. We are from Qi Yun's faction so we can also recommend you to join." he said trying to sound convincing.
Shen Xiao finally noticed the badges for his faction on front of there clothes but he was not interested in joining any faction. "Sorry, i am not interested" he declined politely but the others got angry thinking that he was mocking them.
"So, what are you going to fight alone." other asked in slightly high voice.
"Yes" Shen Xiao replied calmly but they didn't like its attitude
One of them going to make a move but his friend stopped him "lets see how he takes the badge from beast" they were exhausted and there attacks were not working on the beast, they were sure that he would not be able to beat the beast.
Shen Xiao ran forward and charged at the beast. His hand was covered in lightning as he used his 'Lightning Punch' and met beast head on.
His fist hit its head and it was paralyzed for few seconds by lightning. It was enough time for him take tahe badge and ran. He didn't even bother to look at other four disciples as he coated his legs with lightning to use 'Lightning steps'.
He was a lightning cultivator before he got 'Primordial bead' and new lightning technique. He learned these few moves with the help of Lightning fairy.
He ran as fast as he could because he didn't want to fight with those disciples and kill them for small reasons.
On the other hand four disciples were dumbfounded by what happened, when they came to senses the Iron shell bull was already charging at them in anger. So, they were forced to run because of that.
"Bastard we will teach you a lesson if we meet again." they hurled some curses.
Shen Xiao started laughing at their misfortune, because they want to use him to defeat and reap the benifits alone.
"Hahaha, that was fun, let them handled the bull when i get the badge."
"master, you are really evil using them like that." lightning fairy apperead in front of him as she also laughed with him.
"hahaha, they wanted to do the same, so why should i care what happens to them." he replied and moved forward. Lightning fairy accompained him as she continued to guide him in a better way to controll the lightning.
She has helped him a lot because at the start he didn't knew any martial art. Everything he used have been learned from these fairies.
We travelled for few more hours and it was getting already getting late. Due to his good luck he found a empty cave, after setting everything he sat there and decided to cultivate for the night before moving forward.
Because of walking and running nonstop he was exhausted so rest the best option for now so that he could complete the second test by gathering all the badges. he knew that next day won't be that easy.
Lightning fairy also went back to spirit realm and was also started cultivating. He has already exhausted most of the resources found in his spirit realm because there were many people who got away with the resources when he expelled them from the realm.
Resources that were left were used by his mother and him to increase their cultivation. Both of used high level cultivation so the resources needed for them were also very high. They could only wait for them to sprout again because he has tasked the fairies to take care of them.
Destroying the these herbs or any other resource is a great taaboo so everyone has to take care while they collect.
Shen Xiao knew that he need pills instead of directly consuming these herbs for better effects but it not easy tio approach these alchemists.
He can only wait and use what ever means he have left to increase his cultivation.
