"You'll have to wait, Silas," Alfie replied with grim finality, his sigh dragging out heavily. "Rushing into Simon's claws is the same as offering him your throat."
Zane POV ~
The moment I made my way into the room, my phone chimed, prompting me to pick it up.
> Your test result is ready. You should pick it up soon.
"Oh right…" I muttered to myself, remembering. I had dropped my blood sample earlier just before heading into the forest since I never trust Simon's tests so it was safer to have it done outside.
Well, I'll go and collect it later. For now, I should get ready for the act.
I quickly slipped into my outfit, adjusting the collar with a deep breath. Just then, a loud groan....one dripping with raw pleasure escaped from inside the bathroom. It was Alfie.
The sound caught me off guard. My lips parted in surprise before I let out a quiet, disbelieving chuckle. But the laughter lodged in my throat when Alfie suddenly emerged from the bathroom.
