Just as Alex heard the words coming out of Aurora's mouth, his mind turned blank.
His loved ones would soon forget everything about him.
Not even remembering that he had ever been present in their lives at some point.
Seeing the horrified expression on Alex's face, Chronos spoke up. "Now do you understand how absurd a situation you're in right now?"
"The people you cherish will not remember you anymore," he continued. "And most of the gods don't like you either now."
Aurora pressed Alex's shoulder gently. "Alex, calm down first."
Alex took a deep breath, steadying himself. "Alright. First of all, the gods can go to hell. I don't care about those bastards. Tell me how to solve the other problem—of my family and friends forgetting about me."
Elyndra smiled faintly. "That the spirit, boy."
Aurora nodded. "The only way to solve the problem is to achieve divinity and become a low‑ranked god. Doesn't matter what your rank will be."
