Aimi begins to cry as Daru clenches his fists and lowers his head. He soon walks over to Aimi.
Daru: Let's get this done!
Daru and Aimi exit to rejoin the others.
Eklis yells again, urging the subdued individuals to awaken as they slowly approach.
Ohma: Umm, guys, they're WAKING UP!!
Kono: What! Damn… I forgot Skells could do this!
Daru: Remember, we can't kill them.
Akira: Yeah, yeah, shut up about that!
The subdued individuals begin to attack, and the group fights back without killing them. The scene shifts back to Gram and Himitsu, who are still pursuing the principal.
Gram: (slowing down, trying to catch his breath) He's so fast!
Himitsu: Gram, come on! We can't stop.
Gram: Just go ahead; I'll catch up.
Himitsu: Ahh, okay!
Himitsu runs ahead while Gram attempts to regain his breath.
Gram: Man, all that sitting has made me out of shape.
Gram rises and continues running.
Principal Fugen darts into a room, closely followed by Himitsu.
Himitsu: Gotcha! Wh—
Himitsu finds the room empty, and suddenly, the principal grabs him from behind, placing him in a headlock and pressing a gun to his head.
Himitsu: Ugh!
Principal Fugen: I warned you I would eliminate anyone who threatens me or my family!
Himitsu: What you're doing is hurting your own family!
Principal Fugen: You wouldn't understand; you're just a kid!
Gram: Let him go.
Principal Fugen and Himitsu look up to see Gram holding something in his hand.
Principal Fugen: (laughs) Don't you see that I'm holding a gun to your friend's head?
Gram: (smirks) Yes, I see it.
Principal Fugen: Then why don't you put down whatever you have in your hand, whatever your name is?
Himitsu: (rolls his eyes) Great, here we go.
Gram: (smirks) My name… is Gram the Great!
Gram throws what he has in his hand, missing terribly, Making it a piece of bread.
Principal Fugen: A piece of bread? Really?
Gram: Guess what… made you look.
Principal Fugen: Huh?
President Fugen looks down to see Himitsu holding the gun.
Principal Fugen: Wh—how!
Himitsu: As he said, he made you look.
Himitsu strikes the principal with the back of the gun, knocking him out. Gram approaches Himitsu.
Gram: Wasn't that cool?
Himitsu: What?
Gram: My catchphrase: "My name… is Gram the Great!"
Himitsu: Ehh…
Gram: EHH!!!? EHH!!??
Himitsu: Yeah, it could have been better.
Gram: Let's just head back to the others.
The scene shifts back to Akira and the others as they fend off the drab individuals.
Akira: You guys better think of something fast before I start taking these idiots down.
Zodiac: I agree. I'm ready to fight.
Ohma: Wait! Aimi!
Aimi: Huh? What?
Ohma: Use your powers!
Aimi: You do remember that my power is illusions, right?
Ohma: Exactly! You could make them see that they're trapped in a cage, right?
Aimi: Yeah… I think I could.
Daru: Alright, everyone, clear space for Aimi.
Kono: On it!
Kono pulls out a gun that shoots towels.
Zodiac: Seriously?
Kono: What? It's my non-lethal weapon.
Zodiac shakes his head. Zodiac employs sudoshi and starts kicking people aside to create space while Akira, Ohma, and Daru punch and push their way through.
Daru: Aimi, you're up!
Aimi steps in front of everyone and uses her illusions to make the drab individuals see that they are trapped in a cage. The others take a moment to breathe.
Daru: Okay, where's that asshole?
Akira: Guys, where's Hana!?
Daru: What?
Everyone looks behind them and realizes Hana is missing; they glance into the distance and see her yelling as Eklis runs away with her.
Kono: You guys go. Ohma, Aimi, and I can handle this!
They nod, and Akira, Zodiac, and Daru rush after Hana. Eklis sets Hana down in a room filled with blood, and she is visibly terrified.
Hana: W-What is this place?
Eklis: This is where I take people's souls, but today it will be where we get married.
Hana: I'm not marrying you, Eklis.
Eklis: (Chuckles) What? Yes, you are!
Hana: No, I'm not!
Eklis: Hana (laughs), you don't understand yet, but I'll make you understand.
Hana: You're a monster!
Eklis: I AM NOT A MONSTER!
Hana: They were right to kick you out! You're a monster.
Eklis: DO YOU NOT SEE WHAT I'VE DONE FOR US!?!
Hana: Us?
Eklis: Hana, I came to school because of you! Every morning, I would go to my garden to pick a flower for you, planting a new one in a different color each day. But then I learned your favorite color is red, and I looked around this room.
Hana: It's full of blood.
Eklis: Yes! Your favorite color! This is where I killed your mother and father.
Hana begins to cry.
Eklis: I didn't want to kill them, but they said what I was doing was wrong. They wouldn't let me marry you and called me a MONSTER!!
Hana: You are a monster!
Eklis: I AM NOT A MONSTER!
Hana: All those hands on your body belong to the souls of the students you took! You are a monster!
Eklis: You want to see a monster? I'll show you a MONSTER!
Eklis grabs Hana. As she fights back, she knocks over a bottle. Zodiac and the others hear the bottle shatter and rush to Hana, finding Eklis on top of her, while Hana reaches for the broken glass on the ground. Daru seizes Eklis and punches him in the face; he crashes against the wall and is knocked out.
Akira: Hana?
Akira bends down and sees Hana motionless; she is dead. He looks back at Zodiac and Daru, shaking his head.
Daru: AHHHHHH!!
Daru punches a wall, creating a massive hole. He looks at Eklis and sees another hand growing from his body; it is Hana's hand. A few minutes pass, and Eklis and Principal Fugen awaken, tied up in ropes in the science room.
Principal Fugen: Son?!
Eklis: Father?!
Akira: Is there a cure?
Principal Fugen and Eklis notice everyone looking at them.
Ohma: Is there a cure for the souls you took?
Principal Fugen: (Laughs) A cure? Of course not. When Eklis takes a soul, it's gone for good, gone for eternity!
Gram: No, that can't be! There's got to be a way!
Eklis: There isn't… what's done is done.
Principal Fugen: I have no regrets!
Himitsu: How can you even say that!?
Kono: You sick bastard!
Eklis: I would do it over and over again.
Daru begins to laugh as everyone turns to him. He approaches the principal and Eklis, his hair turning purple, eyes bulging, and veins protruding.
Principal Fugen: Wh-what the hell!? What are you?
Eklis: What are you doing?
Daru grabs both the president's and Eklis's necks.
Principal Fugen: (Choking) Ahh!
Eklis: (Choking) Let go of me!
Gram: D-Daru? What are you doing?
Akira: Daru…?
Daru: (In a serious tone) You know, Zodiac, maybe you're right about some things.
Zodiac: Yeah? What's that?
Daru looks at Aimi, who is holding her sister and crying.
Daru: Some people need to die.
Principal Fugen: Wh-what! You can't kill me; I'm the principal!
Eklis: FATHER!
Daru swiftly snaps both Eklis's and Principal Fugen's necks, killing them instantly, and drops their bodies to the ground.
Daru: (in a serious tone) Rot in hell…
Daru exits the room.
Himitsu: H-he just killed them.
Zodiac: Yeah… I know.
Ohma: I don't think that was Daru.
Gram: It's because it wasn't…
After eliminating Eklis and Principal Fugen, they returned to the dungeon to retrieve the bodies of Aimi's parents. Upon exiting the dungeon and the science room, Daru struck the alarm machine, triggering the school's siren. Minutes later, as the evacuation took place, police, paramedics, and firefighters arrived. The police entered the school, searching for the source of the alarm. Upon reaching the science room, they discovered Eklis and Principal Fugen deceased on the ground, with the underground passage still open.
Police Officer 1: What on earth happened here!?
Police Officer 2: And what is that thing? (Pointing his gun at Eklis.)
The night concludes, transitioning into the following day. Kenosaki Academy has been shut down after the public uncovered additional bodies in the school's dungeon. It is a rainy day as Kono and the others gather at a cemetery in Holrez on Earth. Everyone is dressed in black, visibly distressed, with Daru standing alone under a tree, his head bowed. Aimi slowly approaches the tombstones of her mother, father, sister, and even her brother, sinking to her knees as tears begin to fall.
Aimi: (sobbing) I just wanted to be part of the family again. Mom, Dad, sister, and even you, brother. I wish it didn't have to end this way. I wish we could have gone on more vacations, enjoyed Mom's amazing cooking, attended Dad's favorite baseball games, watched my brother excel in video games, and had girls' nights with my mom and sister. Why did I have to lose you all? Why did you have to die? I don't want to be alone! WHY, WHY, WHYYYYYY!
Aimi's cries grow louder as Kono approaches and embraces her. The others stand in silence, with Himitsu and Gram beginning to weep. Ohma lowers his head, visibly upset; Zodiac turns away, and Akira clenches her fist in anger.
Akira: I can't believe this!
Akira turns and walks away from the group. Kono assists Aimi to her feet.
Kono: I think it's time to head back to Sampostis.
Zodiac: I agree.
Everyone boards Kono's ship, and he pilots them back to Sampostis. Upon their arrival, they escort Aimi to her home.
Kono: Do you need anything else, Aimi?
Aimi: No, I should be fine. I just want to thank you all for supporting me through this, well… for Hana. I'm sure she's grateful too.
Ohma: Anytime, Aimi! As knights, we help people to the very end!
The others remain silent, with Daru looking downcast.
Kono: If you need anything, just let us know, okay?
Aimi: We'll see. Until next time…
Aimi opens the door to her house and closes it behind her. The group then returns to Kono's residence. Daru rushes into his room and slams the door shut, startling Gram.
Gram: Looks like Daru is really upset…
Zodiac: Yeah, no kidding. You guys keep getting dumber and dumber.
Zodiac steps outside to get some fresh air.
Gram: Alright, calm down, sheesh!
Gram also walks away from the group.
Akira: I need to hurry up and find my brother so I can get out of this place.
Kono: (sighing) This is going to be a long day…
As everyone goes about their activities, the scene transitions to the following few days, showing Zodiac sitting outside on a rock. A few minutes pass before he is startled by Mizuda approaching him.
Zodiac: Mizuda? What are you doing here?
Mizuda: Hey there, my sweet Zodiac!
Mizuda approaches and hugs him, causing him to feel embarrassed.
Zodiac: Can you stop that? I'm not a kid anymore!
Mizuda: Kid or not, I'm still giving you hugs!
Mizuda releases Zodiac as she notices the absence of the rest of the crew.
Mizuda: Where is everyone else?
Zodiac: Feeling down.
Mizuda: Oh? Did something happen?
Zodiac: A lot has happened.
A few moments later, the front door opens, revealing Kono, Gram, Himitsu, Ohma, and Akira.
Kono: Mizuda?
Himitsu: Master!
Himitsu runs to Mizuda and embraces her, and Mizuda reciprocates.
Mizuda: Hey, Himitsu! I heard you all went through something.
Himitsu: (releasing the hug) Oh, uh, yes, we did.
Mizuda then turns her attention to Akira.
Mizuda: What was your name again? It's been some time since we last met.
Akira: (arms crossed) And why should you care!?
Mizuda: Just out of respect, that's all.
Akira: Hmph! It's Akira, and I'm not repeating it.
Mizuda: (Smiling) Ah, Akira. I'll remember that. Zodiac mentioned you all are having a rough day. Would you like to share why?
Gram: So, who's going to explain?
Ohma: (Waving hand) I'll do it!
Kono: No, I'll explain.
Kono then recounts everything that transpired at the school, and Mizuda's expression brightens.
Mizuda: Oh wow. I—I don't know what to say.
Himitsu: She was such a sweet girl. But she got murdered by that thing…
Mizuda: I can't imagine what you saw. It must have been terrible.
Everyone reflects on Hana and feels a wave of sadness, except for Zodiac and Akira.
Mizuda: Where is your brother, Zodiac?
Zodiac: He has locked himself in his room.
Kono: Daru has been having a tough few days.
Mizuda stands up and addresses everyone.
Mizuda: What you're going through is a good thing.
Gram: A good thing? How is seeing people get killed good?
Mizuda: No, you don't quite understand. What I mean is your development.
Ohma: I'm not sure I understand.
Mizuda: Your sadness, anger, and frustration—these emotions will ultimately make you stronger. Trust me, I understand what you are going through.
Akira: (Angrily) No, you don't! You have no idea what you're talking about!
Zodiac: Watch your mouth.
As Zodiac prepares to intervene, Mizuda gestures for him to stop.
Mizuda: It's okay, Zodiac. I've got this.
Akira: What? You need your little mommy to help you!?
Mizuda: Akira, you claim I don't understand your situation, but that is incorrect. I have been part of the Order for over ten years. I have witnessed things I should not have and have done things I regret. I have lost many good friends along the way. However, one principle I have always adhered to is to never give up. I have endured pain and suffering. It was not easy, but I persevered. I continue to fight for the people I love and, above all, to promote peace throughout the universe. That's why we fight—to ensure others can live without fear.
Everyone is taken aback by Mizuda's words, feeling inspired.
Gram: (Tearing up) Oh my goodness. That was a great speech!
Ohma: I agree, Gram!
Himitsu: The Master always delivers the best speeches!
Akira: (Annoyed) Tch!
Kono: Thank you, Mizuda. We really needed that.
Mizuda: (Smiling) Well, that is what I do best.
Himitsu: I just wish Daru were here to hear this.
Mizuda: Give him some time; he will come around.
Kono: Yeah, you're right. If he were in a better mood, we'd be heading out for our rift mission.
Mizuda: Oh, have you finally unlocked your first rift mission?
Zodiac: Yes, but we keep getting interrupted before we even get the chance.
Mizuda: (Laughing) That's one thing about being in the Order: many people come to you for help.
Gram: I have a question.
Akira: Oh, can you just be quiet already?
Gram: What! It's a good question!
Mizuda: Sure, Gram, what is it?
Gram: So, are the other districts nicer?
Mizuda: Nicer? As in?
Gram: Like, fancier.
Mizuda: Ah, I see. Yes, the further you progress in unlocking the districts, the more attractive they become.
Himitsu: But why do you have to unlock them? Shouldn't the city be fully open to everyone?
Kono: My brother said it's to keep the population in check and prevent overcrowding in the districts.
Zodiac: (Talking to himself) Well, that's a lie.
Mizuda: Pretty much what Kono just said. It's a strange system, but we have to deal with it.
Gram: We need to start ranking up so I can live lavishly.
Kono: (Shakes her head) All you care about is living well and making money.
Zodiac: Is that all you came here to do?
Mizuda: I just wanted to check in on you guys. Is that a problem?
Gram: No, no, no! Don't mind him! You can visit as often as you want. (Drooling)
Akira punches Gram, causing him to crash into the wall.
Akira: Why don't you shut up!
Gram: (Pulling his head out) Ouch! What was that for!?
Everyone begins to laugh at Gram.
Mizuda: You guys are going to be one hell of a crew, I tell you.
