As they separate, Gram and Himitsu walk together in search of the individual.
Himitsu: How are we supposed to find this person? This mall is huge!
Himitsu glances at Gram, who is smiling.
Gram: We're at a mall, right?
Himitsu: Uhhhh, I guess so.
Gram: (Smirking) You know what that means.
Himitsu: What?
Gram: We get to go on a shopping spree!
Himitsu: Huh? We can't do that!
Gram: Why not?!
Himitsu: Because we are on a mission, Gram.
Gram: Come on, think about it! We've been fighting nonstop ever since we got to Sampostis.
Himitsu: Well, isn't that the reason we joined the Order—to protect the people?
Gram: W-well, yeah, but Himitsu, we both know we deserve a break. All Zodiac and Daru want to do is fight!
Himitsu: I understand what you're saying. It's true that we've been through a lot lately.
Gram places his arm over Himitsu's shoulder.
Gram: Then come on, bro, let's do some shopping while we're here.
Himitsu: I'm not so sure about this.
As they continue walking, Gram spots a store with appealing clothing and becomes excited.
Gram: (Pointing) Look at those clothes! We must check it out!
Himitsu: Yes, but we are still on a mission, Gram.
Gram: (Begging) Just for a couple of seconds! Please!
Himitsu: Alright, alright, we can take a look for a few moments, but that's all.
Gram hugs Himitsu.
Gram: This is why you're my brother!
They enter the store, surrounded by various types of fashionable clothing and a crowd of people.
Gram: (With sparkling eyes) Now this is what I'm talking about!
Gram browses through the racks, selecting items and moving about energetically.
Himitsu: I never realized Gram was such a fashion enthusiast.
Gram: (Grabbing clothes) Should I get this!? Or perhaps this! Or how about this?
Himitsu: (Looking around) There certainly are a lot of people in here.
After a moment, Gram approaches Himitsu, holding up a stylish jacket.
Gram: Yo, bro! You can't tell me this doesn't look nice!
Himitsu: I think the design suits you well.
Gram: Right! I'm going to buy this now!
Himitsu: Wait, what? You can't do that.
Gram: Why not?
Himitsu: We only came here to browse, not to buy anything.
Gram: Oh, come on! Just this one jacket, and that's it.
Himitsu: Okay, but make it quick. We need to find someone, remember?
Gram: Yeah, I know. I'll be right back.
Himitsu: Hold on!
Gram: What is it now?
Himitsu: How are you going to buy that without any money?
Gram: We can access the crew's bank account.
Himitsu: Shouldn't we ask Kono first—
Gram: She won't even notice. Just stay here!
Gram proceeds to the front counter where the cashier is located.
Himitsu: (shaking his head) If they find out we're doing this, we're dead.
A few minutes pass, and Himitsu hears a woman screaming outside.
Woman: GET AWAY FROM ME!
Himitsu: What the heck!?
Himitsu turns and rushes outside to see a child fleeing with the woman's purse.
Himitsu: Hey, come back here!
Himitsu quickly returns to the store to find Gram.
Himitsu: Gram! I think I found the person we were looking for!
Gram does not respond, remaining motionless.
Himitsu: (confused) Gram? What are you doing?
Himitsu grips Gram's shoulder and turns him around, only to see blood streaming from his eyes. He appears lifeless.
Himitsu: WHAT THE HELL!?
Gram collapses to the ground, unresponsive.
Himitsu: GRAM! GRAM!
As Himitsu surveys the area, he notices that the eyes of those around him are bleeding, all fixed on him.
Himitsu: (terrified) Uhhh.
The crowd begins to advance silently toward Himitsu. He draws his spear and adopts a defensive stance.
Himitsu: S-stay back! I don't want to hurt you!
The individuals continue to advance as Himitsu turns and flees from the store.
Himitsu: Get away from me!
In his escape, Himitsu makes a left turn and encounters a set of doors. He quickly opens them and steps through. On the other side, he sees clouds directly in front of him, almost within reach.
Himitsu: (confused) Huh? Where am I? And why can I see the clouds so closely?
Himitsu looks down and realizes he is suspended in the sky.
Himitsu: WHAT THE!?
Himitsu begins to plummet, shouting at the top of his lungs.
Himitsu: AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
The scene shifts to Gram attempting to purchase a jacket.
Gram: Ugh! How do you make purchases on this thing? Maybe Himitsu will know.
When Gram turns around, he notices Himitsu is no longer in the store.
Gram: Himitsu? Where did you go?
Next, we see Zodiac and Daru walking together in the mall.
Daru: This mission is really frustrating! How are we supposed to find this person?
Zodiac: I don't know; just look around.
Daru: Okay, what's your problem?
Zodiac: What?
Daru: It feels like you're trying to start a fight.
Zodiac: No, I'm just stating the obvious.
Daru clenches his fists.
Daru: You have such a punchable face.
As they walk, a man approaches Zodiac holding a poster.
Man: Hey there, sir! Would you like to try our—
Zodiac: No, get out of my way.
Zodiac attempts to walk past the man, but the man quickly steps back into his path.
Man: But sir, you won't want to miss this opportunity.
Zodiac: As I said, get out of my face.
Man: B-but sir—
Zodiac: I said no.
Daru: Sorry, but we're busy.
As Zodiac tries to walk away again, the man steps back into his path, still smiling.
Man: You just made a big mistake, buddy. You should have accepted my offer.
Zodiac: I warned you.
Zodiac draws his katana, preparing to engage, as Daru interjects.
Daru: Yeah, take him out, Zodiac! Spill his guts!
Zodiac: Don't worry, I will—wait, what?
Zodiac turns to see Daru wearing an unsettling smile.
Daru: Well, what are you waiting for? Slice his head off!
Zodiac: Something isn't right. You never talk like this.
Man: Hey, we're not done talking; he—
Zodiac swiftly turns and slices the man in half as he collapses to the ground, vanishing.
Zodiac: Great, I'm caught in another illusion.
The scene shifts back to Gram searching for Himitsu.
Gram: Where did he go? I told him not to leave.
A few moments later, a lady approaches Gram.
Lady: Hey there, cutie.
Gram: (Nervously) H-hello! How are you?
Lady: Oh, not much. I was thinking we could, you know, make out.
Gram begins to perspire; he has never received such a proposition before.
Gram: What? But you don't even know me.
The lady retrieves lip gloss from her bag and applies it to her lips.
Lady: Well, why don't you get to know these lips?
Gram: (To himself) This has to be a joke, right?
Lady: (Smiling) So? Are you in or not?
Gram: (To himself) Come on, Gram! This is your first opportunity like this. I can't back out now!
Gram slaps himself and puffs out his chest.
Gram: Of course I am! Let me show you what these lips can do.
Lady: (Giggling) That's what I like to hear. Now, please close your eyes.
Gram promptly closes his eyes, puckering his lips in anticipation of the kiss.
Gram: (To himself) YES! I can't believe I'm about to experience my first kiss!
As Gram waits, confusion begins to set in.
Gram: (To himself) What's taking her so long? Just do it!
After a few more moments, he hears an unusual sound and starts to feel a bit frightened.
Gram: (To himself) Why do I hear heavy breathing?
As Gram opens his eyes, he is startled to find a minotaur directly in front of him.
Gram: AHHHHHHHHHH! IS THAT A MINOTAUR!?
Minotaur: RAHHHHHHHHHH!
Gram: You've got to be kidding me!
Gram turns and begins to run as the minotaur pursues him.
Gram: Why, why, why! Why does this always happen to me?
Meanwhile, Kono and Ohma are walking around the mall, searching for someone.
Ohma: This is so boring; I thought I'd be fighting.
Kono: Yeah, I thought so too because the last mission had us fighting left and right. But it was Daru and Zodiac who completed it for us.
Ohma: Man, that must have been fun to watch, seeing them in action with their hair powers.
Kono: Yeah, it was cool, but they didn't have the hair thing back then.
Ohma: They didn't?
Kono: No, they got their true powers during the Newbie Event.
Ohma: Ohh… What is the Newbie Event, anyway?
Kono: It's an event that's basically capture-the-flag for the new crews that have joined the Order.
Ohma: That's so cool! And Gram got all the flags, right? He says (doing an impression of Gram), "I won the Newbie Event, Gram… Gram the Great."
Kono begins to laugh.
Kono: That was a good impression of Gram.
Ohma: Yeah, I'm pretty good at it. I catch on quickly.
Kono: I can see that from your impression.
Ohma: But sometimes, I have this feeling about Gram.
Kono: Feeling? What feeling?
Ohma: I feel like I want to kill Gram.
Kono looks taken aback.
Kono: What? Ohma, you don't actually want that, do you? You don't want to kill him, right?
Ohma: No, I'm serious. I wish I could just kill him and watch him die slowly.
Kono begins to feel uneasy and starts to distance himself from Ohma.
Ohma: Why are you stepping away?
Kono: Ohma, what is wrong with you?
Ohma: What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you? You don't even know how to run a crew! Your parents would be so upset if they knew what kind of crew you've made and that no one listens to you. You're useless.
As Kono appeared lost in a daze, Ohma continued to call her name.
Ohma: Kono? Kono! KONO!
Ohma noticed Kono staring blankly at the ceiling.
Ohma: What are you looking at? I don't see anything distracting. Kono, can you please stop looking up? (sighs) I'm going to find the others, alright?
Ohma sighed again and began to walk away. The scene shifted to Daru, who was in a pitch-black room.
Daru: (sighs) I know this is an illusion, so whatever this is, it's not going to work.
When no one responded, Daru grew frustrated and moved forward, uncertain of his destination.
Daru: This is one stupid question mark mission. If this is happening to me, it must be happening to everyone else. I wonder how that idiot Gram is holding up.
While walking, Daru heard a voice call his name.
???: Daru.
He turned around to see Zenshi.
Zenshi: (tearing up) Daru.
Daru: Zenshi!
He started running toward her but stopped abruptly.
Zenshi: Come give me a hug! I haven't seen you in ages! How is my little boy doing?
Daru: Shut up!
Zenshi looked taken aback.
Zenshi: What! That's no way to speak to me.
Daru: Shut up! I know you're not real, but you almost got me.
Zenshi began to walk toward Daru as he moved toward her.
Zenshi: Daru, you're sleeping.
Daru: What? No, I'm not.
Zenshi: Yes, you are. You're passed out next to Zodiac, and he's trying to wake you up.
Daru: If I'm asleep, then why are you in my dream?
Zenshi: You're dreaming about me.
Daru: What?
Zenshi finally reached Daru and wrapped her arms around him.
Zenshi: I miss you so much, Daru, and I want to be by your side.
Daru: (starting to tear up) I miss you a lot, Zenshi. I miss you and Rito. I promise I will find you both.
Zenshi: I know you will. My Daru is the hardest-working boy I know.
Daru began to close his eyes and embraced Zenshi for a few seconds.
Ohma: Well… this is nice.
Daru opened his eyes to find himself hugging Ohma, who was smiling.
Daru: WHAT TH-!
Daru stepped back from Ohma.
Ohma: You know, you give really good hugs.
Daru: What were you doing hugging me?
Ohma: Huh? You hugged me first, and I thought, "Yay! I like hugs!" So I hugged you back.
Daru: Ohma… if you tell anyone about this, I'll actually kill you. Got it?
Ohma: Yes, sir, Daru!
Daru: And stop calling me sir.
Ohma: Sorry, Daru.
Daru: (sighs) Anyway, what brings you here?
Ohma: Huh? Oh, I was looking for you guys because Kono was just staring at the ceiling, and I didn't know what she was looking at, so I said I would go find you.
Daru: Wait, so you left Kono alone?
Ohma: No, I didn't leave her! I told her I was going to find you before I left.
Daru: So you did leave her.
Zodiac: She's most likely trapped in an illusion, like the rest of us.
Daru and Ohma turn to see Zodiac approaching.
Ohma: Oh, hello, Zodiac!
Daru: Yeah, that's exactly what's happening.
Zodiac: We need to find this person quickly before it gets worse.
Ohma: Yep! I agree.
Daru begins scanning the surroundings and notices something.
Daru: Everyone, look at that (points).
Zodiac and Ohma both turn in the direction Daru is indicating, observing the individuals walking around with shopping bags.
Zodiac: Yes? What about them?
Daru: They haven't looked at us once since we got here.
Zodiac: I hate to admit it, but you're right; they haven't.
Ohma: I still don't understand what you guys are seeing.
Daru: What? Are you not paying attention? I'm pointing at the people.
Ohma: What people? All I see is this weird, abandoned place. I don't understand how you don't see it.
Zodiac: Wait, what did you just say?
Ohma: I said I don't see what you're seeing.
Zodiac: No, after that.
Ohma: Oh, umm… I said all I see is an abandoned place.
Zodiac: Yes, that's the one.
Zodiac looks at Daru.
Daru: What is it?
Zodiac: This whole time we've been here, we've been under an illusion.
Daru: How do you know that?
Zodiac: Because you're right; the people aren't looking at us.
Zodiac approaches a civilian and draws his sword.
Daru: Hey, what are you doing?
Zodiac swipes his blade at the civilian, and it passes right through them.
Daru: What the hell?
Zodiac: We are still under an illusion.
Daru: So what do we do now?
Zodiac turns to Ohma.
Zodiac: Ohma.
Ohma: Yes, Sir Zodiac?
Zodiac: You have to stop the person creating this illusion because we can't see what you're seeing.
Ohma: Me? By myself? Without you guys?
Daru: Yes, Ohma! You picked the mission; now complete it.
Ohma begins to smile.
Ohma: You're right! I started this mission, and I'm going to finish it… for my CREW!!
Zodiac: Now go locate him and eliminate him.
Daru: NO! No killing.
Ohma: Yeah, I wouldn't kill him unless he's killed people. If that happens, I wouldn't let him breathe for a second.
Daru & Zodiac: Just go stop the guy.
Ohma: Yes, Sir Zodiac and Daru!
Ohma rushes off to find the individual as Daru and Zodiac shake their heads. The scene shifts back to Gram, who is hiding from the minotaur.
Gram: (muttering to himself) Why is it always me? Where the hell did it go?
He peeks over the table but sees nothing.
Gram: Where did it go?
While still peeking, he hears heavy breathing. Turning around, he sees the minotaur standing over him.
Gram: AHHHHHHH!!!
Minotaur: RAHHHHHH!!!
The minotaur swings its hand at Gram. As he covers his head, Ohma leaps in front of him and blocks the attack.
Gram: Ohma!?
Ohma: Hey, Gram!
Gram looks at the minotaur, blinks, and briefly sees it as a little girl. He blinks again and sees the minotaur.
Gram: (muttering to himself) What? A little girl?
The minotaur begins to run away as Gram casts a spell, trapping it in a transparent magical box.
Minotaur: No! No! No! No! No! THIS IS NOT FAIR!!! NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!!
Ohma: Great thinking, Gram!
Gram: I am Gram the Great, after all.
As Gram observes the minotaur, everything around him starts to fade.
Gram: What the? What's happening?
As the surroundings disappear, Gram and Ohma find themselves in an abandoned mall.
Gram: Where are we?
Himitsu and Kono appear, spotting Gram and Ohma.
Kono: Gram! Ohma!
Himitsu: Are you guys okay?
Gram: What, me? Yes, of course, I'm fine. I took this creature down myself.
Zodiac: You mean the little girl?
Gram notices Zodiac and Daru.
Gram: Zodiac, Daru! It's great to see you. Wait, what girl?
Daru: Look at the box, you idiot.
Gram looks back at the box and sees a young girl sitting inside.
Gram: What the?
Kono approaches the box.
Kono: So, you were the one creating all the illusions.
Young Girl: Yes, that was me! I had so much fun playing tricks on you all. Especially that one! (points at Gram)
Gram: What! ME?
Himitsu and Ohma cover their mouths, struggling to suppress laughter.
Gram: Is something funny to you?
Ohma: (attempting to hold back laughter) No, not at all.
Himitsu: I was just yawning and didn't want to yawn on you.
Gram: Hmm… right.
Daru: So, why were you doing this?
Young Girl: Doing what?
Daru: Don't act clueless.
Young Girl: (laughs) Because it's fun, okay? It's really fun!
As they converse with the young girl, Kono receives a call on her Jump Watch.
Kono: Huh?
Kono answers the call and sees it's Fin.
Fin: Hey, Kono!
Kono: Oh, hey, Fin! What's up?
Fin: I just wanted to let you know that you guys completed the mission.
Kono: What, really?
Fin: Yes! You finished it in under 30 minutes; that's impressive!
Kono: Thank you! I couldn't have done it without my crew!
Fin: You're right about that. Anyway, the portal is outside the mall.
Kono: Okay! Wait, Fin.
Fin: Yes?
Kono: What about the young girl? We can't just leave her behind.
Fin: Oh, don't worry. The Sampostis guards will take care of her. I heard she actually lives here in Sampostis.
Kono: What! She lives here?
Fin: Yes, apparently she found a crystal and ended up here.
Kono: Wow, she's really sneaky.
Fin: Indeed! (laughs) Anyway, return when you're ready.
Kono: Understood!
Kono addresses her crew.
Kono: Hey, guys, we're good to go to the portal outside.
Zodiac: Good.
Zodiac begins walking toward the portal.
Daru: I really hate him.
Zodiac: The feeling is mutual.
Daru clenches his fists in frustration as he walks to the portal.
Himitsu: Wait, what about the girl, Kono?
Kono: Don't worry, I talked to Fin. He said the Sampostis guards will take care of her.
Gram: Great! I'm out of here.
Gram removes the spell from the young girl and proceeds toward the portal.
Himitsu: Gram! Wait up!
Himitsu runs to catch up with Gram.
Ohma: (to the young girl) Make sure you eat something when you get back, okay?
Little Girl: Okay, whatever! I can take care of myself. I'm 13!
Ohma: (smiling) Alright!
The Sampostis guards arrive.
Sampostis Guard: Alright, let's go.
Little Girl: Yeah, yeah, I know the drill.
The little girl follows the Sampostis guards to the portal.
Ohma: Hey, Kono.
Kono: Yes, Ohma?
Ohma: Did I just complete my first mission?
Kono: Yes! You completed your first mission.
Ohma begins to smile and jump with excitement.
Kono: Boys will be boys.
Ohma takes a deep breath as Kono anticipates his next action.
Kono: No!!
Ohma: AHHHHHHH!!!!
