Whitebeard's fate was already sealed. This war was merely waiting for the inevitable result to arrive.
After confirming that Reiner was not his real body, Sengoku had no intention of fighting anymore.
But the other party hadn't left yet, as if waiting for something.

Nami closed her eyes, her long lashes trembling slightly, her fingers tangled in his golden hair, holding on tightly.

Nami stood up, panting heavily, her cheeks slightly flushed, her chest rising and falling.

Blackbeard turned his head and grinned sinisterly. "Wait for the opportunity. There will always be a chance for revenge."
