Chapter 112 - **Chapter 112: Prey (Part 2)**

Hidan felt immense pressure as he faced the smiling Aburame Shigeo and the lifeless Kakuzu lying nearby.

He finally understood why Kakuzu had been so afraid of Aburame Shigeo.

"This guy is a monster!"

Grinding his teeth, Hidan's expression grew increasingly frenzied.

"But I'm the representative of Lord Jashin! Even if you're a monster, I'll sacrifice you to him! Hahahaha!"

With that, he charged toward Aburame Shigeo, wildly swinging his blood-stained scythe. His attacks were reckless, focusing entirely on offense with no defense—a strategy that screamed "life for life."

Thanks to his immortality, Hidan held a significant advantage in close combat.

No matter how grievously injured he was—even if his heart was pierced—he wouldn't die. Meanwhile, he only needed to draw a single drop of his opponent's blood to initiate his deadly ritual.

It was a profoundly unfair ability.

Against most opponents, facing someone like Hidan would make them tread carefully. One misstep could lead to a deadly reversal.

But this wasn't an issue for Aburame Shigeo.

"Sharingan!"

As Hidan attacked, Shigeo activated his Sharingan, his eyes turning crimson with two tomoe rotating slowly within.

"Watch carefully."

With a faint smile, Aburame Shigeo effortlessly dodged Hidan's attack and slapped him across the face.

*Smack!*

*Thud!*

Hidan was sent sprawling to the ground, a vivid purple handprint forming on the left side of his face.

He was furious.

"Damn it, I'll kill you!"

Roaring, he picked up his scythe and charged again.

Once more, Aburame Shigeo evaded the strike with ease and countered with another slap.

*Smack!*

*Thud!*

Hidan was knocked down again, this time with a matching purple handprint on the right side of his face.

"Damn it! Lord Jashin won't forgive you for this!"

Despite his shouting, Hidan didn't charge again. Instead, he grabbed his scythe and turned to run.

Although reckless, Hidan wasn't stupid.

Facing such an unbeatable opponent—especially with his partner Kakuzu dead—staying would be pointless. Retreating was the wiser choice.

But Aburame Shigeo had no intention of letting him go.

"Did I say you could leave? Stand still!"

"Ugh..."

At Shigeo's command, Hidan froze in place after only a few steps. His face twisted in shock.

"I can't move... What is this? A Binding Jutsu? But a D-rank technique like that shouldn't work on me!"

"It works because I'm the one who used it."

Aburame Shigeo approached Hidan, reaching out to touch the purple handprints on his face.

"Hmm? Interesting, you resisted."

"What are you talking about?"

Hidan's eyes widened as he roared angrily.

"Are you saying I have thick skin? Damn it, I won't forgive you! I swear in Jashin's name that I'll... mmmph!"

Before he could finish, Shigeo pried his mouth open and stuck two fingers inside, swirling them around.

This bizarre process lasted about two minutes.

Hidan's eyes bulged in disbelief. When Shigeo finally removed his fingers, Hidan retched violently.

"Ugh... Damn it... ugh, what are you doing?!"

"..."

Shigeo stared at him silently, deep in thought. After a moment, he grabbed Hidan's mouth again.

Hidan's expression turned to sheer terror.

"No... What are you doing?! Stop... mmmph!"

This time, Shigeo's fingers stayed in Hidan's mouth for nearly five minutes before he withdrew them.

Then, Shigeo began removing Hidan's clothing, his face lit with an unsettling excitement.

Hidan panicked.

"Stop! Don't do this! That woman over there is still alive—go find her if you must! I'm not what you think I am—don't... don't do this!"

*Rip!*

Shigeo tore off a piece of Hidan's clothing and stuffed it into his mouth.

"Shut up. I'm not into whatever you're imagining. Stay quiet!"

Hidan: "..."

No, you *are* into this!

Humiliated and powerless, Hidan turned his head away, tears of despair streaming from his eyes.

Why?

Why is this happening to me?

Is it because I'm too handsome?

Forgive me, Lord Jashin—I'm about to be defiled!

Unaware of Hidan's thoughts, Shigeo wouldn't have cared even if he had known.

He was engrossed in observing Hidan's body as it turned increasingly purple. A glint of fascination shone in his eyes.

"Attacked by trillions of Kikaichu, yet his cells haven't collapsed. They're still functioning normally. This is immortality?"

It turned out Shigeo wasn't acting out of any bizarre fetish. He had inserted his fingers into Hidan's mouth to inject a massive number of Kikaichu.

Stripping Hidan was merely for better observation of the bugs' effects.

Soon, Shigeo noticed something peculiar.

The Kikaichu inside Hidan's body were dying off rapidly and being expelled through his sweat glands, staining the ground purple.

"An antibody response?"

Adjusting his sunglasses, Shigeo's eyes narrowed thoughtfully.

"Immortality truly is remarkable. In some ways, it's on par with the Sage Body. This warrants further study."

Drawing a kunai, he prepared to extract some of Hidan's blood, hoping to cultivate new types of bugs.

Before he could act, a familiar voice called out.

"Father..."

"Hm?"

Turning around, Shigeo saw his daughter Aburame Chion standing nearby, staring at him in shock.

"Father, what are you doing here? And what are you doing to him?"

"..."

Shigeo frowned, unsure how to respond.

At that moment, chaos erupted.

Hidan, who had been immobilized, suddenly broke free. Taking advantage of Shigeo's distraction, he hurled his scythe toward Chion.

"Scoundrel!"

Enraged, Shigeo kicked Hidan away and impaled him with a wooden spike.

"Wood Style: Piercing Stakes!"

Dozens of wooden spikes erupted from Hidan's body.

For anyone else, this would have been fatal. But Hidan, still immortal, bellowed in pain.

"That hurts, you bastard!"

As he shouted, Hidan retrieved his scythe and licked the blood on its blade.

Realizing the danger, Shigeo turned toward Chion and saw a wound on her arm, blood trickling out.

"Damn it!"

Shigeo's expression changed drastically as he turned to Hidan.

The Jashinist had already drawn a ritual circle and wielded a black spear.

"Stop, Hidan! Let's talk this through!"

"Talk to Jashin!"

With a crazed grin, Hidan plunged the spear into his own heart.

"Die!"

*Thud!*
