The morning started differently than usual. For once, I wasn't woken by Joonseo's commanding voice telling me to "hurry up before you're late." Instead, I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside our big glass window, and something warm and heavy draped over me—his arm, of course.
I turned my head slightly and saw him, still asleep, hair messy, lips parted just a little. If anyone saw him like this, they wouldn't believe he was the same dangerous CEO the entire business world feared. He looked… cute. Adorably human. I almost wanted to poke his cheek, but knowing him, he'd probably wake up and glare at me with that "why did you disturb me?" look.
I carefully slipped out of bed, tiptoeing toward the bathroom. But just as I reached for my toothbrush, his deep morning voice startled me.
"Where do you think you're sneaking off to?"
I froze, clutching my toothbrush like it was a weapon. "I wasn't sneaking! I was just… being considerate. Letting you sleep more."
