I picked up a sword and started swinging it pointlessly, There was no meaning behind it, I just felt like doing it.
it was my first time swinging a sword.
Suddenly, my head felt really dizzy, and a glass window popped up.
It was the same stats window, this time instead of displaying my stats, it showed something else.

I quickly tried other methods. I ran endlessly to Raise my stamina, lifted weights to increase my Strength, and after every single time I did it.

This development gave the new Reiner Remes hope for his survival; he too can now get stronger and just maybe avoid the impending death that is waiting for him.
So he spend the next few days Training endlessly, the maids tending to him were in utter disbelief, they had never witnessed a day where Reiner had spent training.
Soon the news reached Aden von Remes, who was indeed suspicious of this development but thought that just maybe his Eldest son had changed even just a little bit.

"Yes,sir I saw it with my own eyes" - Castus replied with a low voice to Aden,
"hmm.... leave him be, and report back if anything happens"
Aden von Remes was a character who did not care for family ties and worked solely for the purpose of upholding the name of his Family.
He could even abandon his own son if it meant the better of his Family.
Reiner laid restless on the training ground's floor, looking at his status window.

He picked up his belongings and moved back to his room, he noticed that Castus has placed Mana Pills on his table without any more questions.
He Closed tight his door and grabbed the Mana pills, then after some hesitation he swallowed three of them at once.
For a moment he felt as if nothing happened. and then he felt as if a rush of mana was moving rapidly through his veins , moving above to his head. He felt an intense sensation of pain in his head, which knocked him out.
After a moment, he got back up only to realise that the head ache was still active, this time , he immediately went into the lotus position to circulate his energy.
It took his close to an hour to steer the path for all the mana to flow through his meridians nice and seamlessly without any problems.
Then he increased the speed of the flow, the high intensity energy covered his whole body, after a while, he felt a sudden burst of energy quickly followed by total calmness.
the whole place fell silent for a moment. followed by a notification.

I had done it, the new Core was built, what would take other mages months was done in just a matter of hours.
My Grade was upgraded from 2 to all the way to 3. Meaning that I could now perform techniques all the way to Grade 3.
I have now reached a stage which even the real Reiner Remes would have ever thought of even reaching.
Now I have to hurry up because only a few days remain until we depart to Walpurgis. The only skill which could truly save Reiner at this point is Unique Skill: Fear.
This was a skill exclusively to Reiner, Unique Skill:Fear allowed Reiner to dominate everyone who was below him in rankings. its abilities where pretty straight forward , he could instill Fear onto his enemies and make them lose 50 % of their stats temporarly.
This was indeed a broken skill, but it would go well down in Walpurgis as everyone there should be stronger than him. So the chances of him getting to use it there are pretty slim.
So after a bit of hesitation, I decided to spend the remaining of my days mastering Fear, it was pretty simple, all I had to do was circulate mana and pour it onto to my 3rd meridian located at the Head.
Days passed faster than I expected, and now it was finally the day to depart to the Academy. So I gathered all my belongings and stepped onto the carriage, I figured since Reiner was the eldest son, his family might come to bid him farewell.
But there was no one. the only people there were Castus and the head maid waving goodbye to him. It was honestly a deserved sight. I can only imagine how much of a scoundrel he was to receive this kind of treatment.
The journey to the academy took almost a month as the Academy was Situated at the Far end of the Empire and Remes Terittory was at the North, I mainly polished my knowledge of Fear by reading more books coreleated to magic as we passes many areas on our way to Walpurgis.
With a month of travelling, we reached the 'Walpurgis Academy of Magic and Swordsmanship'
It was truly like a dream. The Academy which i could only imagine in my dreams was right infront of me!.
'Ahh-.. this is real'
I needed to accept the fact.I am now Reiner Remes.

There it was, the perfect gossip had already started.But there was nothing much i could do, because it was the truth.
