"I told you. Nothing will happen. I will handle it and will make sure no one will say a word to your mother." Viraaj reassured her so that she won't worry and will accept the wristlet.
Ira looked at the wristlet her grandfather was holding and sighed harshly. She again looked up at her grandfather and smiled faintly. "Ok, i accept it. But please, don't let father and Veera scold mother. She gave it to me because she loves me and I don't want her love for me to create problems for her."
"I will take care of it. Don't worry."
Viraaj held Ira's right hand and put on the wristlet and then in left hand.
"Look! how beautiful it looks when you wear it. It's made for you only." Viraaj commented, making Ira smile brightly.
"Grandfather, why you always like to praise me?" She asked jokingly, admiring the wristlet.
"Because you deserve praise." Viraaj replied. He held Ira's both hands and kissed the back ok it. "I wish you lots of happiness always."
"Grandfather..." She hugged him "You are the best grandfather in whole world. I love you the most."
"I love you too my child but i have a question for you. Do you love your husband too? Does he care for you and love you?"
She slowly broke the hug and looked in her grandfather's eyes "Why are you talking about him? Why you have to include him in our talks?" She asked, pouting while sulking because when Viraaj mentioned Raksheet, she remembered how he always tease her and annoy her.
She wanted to spend some time alone with her grandfather so that her husband won't see her crying and being childish and won't tease her. But even if he is not present there, her grandfather have to mention him.
"Hey, he is your husband, I need to know whether everything is fine between you two. I promised your mother that i will make sure you are happy with your new family and husband." He held Ira's chin gently "I got you married to Raksheet because I wanted you to feel the love and happiness that you didn't got in Aaro, not because i want you to leave Aaro and struggle to adjust with new people."
"If you have any kind of problem here, then it is important for me to know. So tell me, does he take care of you and love you?"
Ira held his hand and replied "Yes, he do care for me and he loves me too. But the problem is...." She looked down and sighed.
Viraaj quickly leaned forward, feeling anxious "What is the problem? Did he said something? Did he do anything to you?"
Ira looked up at him and replied "He is good. But he is so annoying! He don't miss a chance to tease me." She complained. She was having a annoyed face when she recalled how Raksheet always annoy her.
Viraaj Sighed in relief. He leaned back on sofa and chuckled "You scared me. It's not a big matter. No need to be angry. He annoy you because he like you."
"Now i don't have to worry after knowing that your husband love you so much."
Ira opened her mouth to speak but before she can say anything, someone knocked on the door.
Both of them turned their gaze towards the door and found Raksheet standing there with a slight smile on his face.
As soon as Ira saw him, she looked away. thinking that he must have heard their conversation and her complaints too.
"Ah, Raksheet, come in." Viraaj said with a smile and stood up.
Raksheet entered in chamber and went towards them "Sorry i disturbed you two, but it's time for dinner. Everyone is waiting for you in dining hall. You can talk with each other later, after having dinner." He tilted his head to see Ira "What do you say Ira?" He asked, making Ira flinch.
She quickly looked up at him "Huh? Yes, We can talk later." She replied, trying to fake a smile.
'Why he have to appear suddenly like 'think of devil and devil arrives'.' Ira thought. She turned her face to other side and smiled secretly.
"No need to say sorry. You didn't disturbed us." Viraaj replied "You are my grandson-in-law, how can your presence disturb me?"
Raksheet chuckled and smiled brightly "Yes, that's true." His eyes then fell on Ira who was watching him from the corner of her eyes. Trying to avoid eye contact, thinking he heard her conversation with her grandfather and calling him annoying.
"But, what about your granddaughter? What if she thinks I am a third wheel and i stole her share of love too?" He asked, leaning towards Ira to annoy her and see her angry expressions.
She narrowed her eyes and quickly stood up taking a step forward towards him "You-"
Raksheet stepped back, finnally seeing Ira's annoyed face made him smile widely.
Viraaj wrapped his arm around Ira's shoulder and laughed "She won't mind. My granddaughter know how to share."
Ira stopped. She crossed her arms on her chest and looked away, feeling done with her husband.
"We should go to dining hall. Everyone is waiting, right?" Viraaj said.
"Yes, please." Raksheet replied, trying to control his smile.
In dining hall, everyone was already on their seats.
"Grandfather-in-law, you sit here, beside grandfather." Raksheet offered his seat to Viraaj. It would not be a good idea for him to sit on the last seat. he is a king so he should sit next to a king.
"Thank you Raksheet." Viraaj replied and sat down.
"If you don't mind, can i sit next to grandfather?" Ira asked to Raksheet.
"Yes, sure. Sit." He replied and pulled out the chair beside Viraaj where Ira usually sit. He gestured Ira to sit.
Ira moved towards the chair and sat down "Thank you."
Raksheet just smiled in response and looked at the chair beside Ira.
Ahil was already sitting there, without realising that he have to leave his seat again and give it to his brother.
Raksheet tried to maintain his smile and not to start quarrel infront of Ira's grandfather.
He placed his hand on Ahil's shoulder and squeezed it.
Ahil looked up at his brother with a smile, not knowing that his brother wants to pick him up and throw him off his seat again.
"Brother, would you mind to get up and let me sit next to my wife?" Raksheet asked as calmly as he can with a fake smile.
Ahil quickly stood up because he can hear the warning in his brother's sweet voice and anger behind that smile. "Yes yes, please sit. I will sit here." He moved to the next chair.
"Thank you." Raksheet replied with a poker face, scaring Ahil even more.
"Ira, this wristlet? Is it a gift from your grandfather?" Avanya asked, pointing towards the wristlet Ira was wearing.
Ira looked at her hands and realised that she forgot to take it off.
"Actually, it's our family wristlet." Ira replied.
"Ira's mother sent it for her." Viraaj spoke.
"Really? It's so beautiful." Avanya replied. "We have a pair of family wristlet too. But because I have two sons, I have to share them equally. One for you and one for Ahil's wife."
Ira nod and secretly looked at Ahil who was already trying hard not to blush. Ira had already mentioned his future wife today and now his mother is mentioning her too. When their eyes met, Ahil quickly looked away to hide his face.
Ira bited her lower lip to hide her smile and shifted her gaze to her plate.
"I will give you one later." Avanya said "You should wear these and the one I will give you on Raksheet's coronation day."
Ira furrowed her eyebrows, not knowing what her mother-in-law is talking about "Coronation day? When?" She asked confused.
"Next month. Your husband will be crowned next month and will become a king, officially." Neisha answered.
Ira turned her gaze towards Raksheet who was smiling softly.
She again turned her gaze towards others "But no one told me about it."
"Because we wanted to tell you this when your grandfather arrives. We wanted to give you two surprises at once." Abhiveera said.
Ira looked at her grandfather and smiled. She then turned her gaze towards Raksheet "This is the best surprise i ever had."
"You will have more." Ashwant said "Your parents will attend Raksheet's coronation too."
"Really?" She asked, excitement filled in her eyes. She turned towards her grandfather. "Will they really come? M-Mother? Will she come too?"
Viraaj smiled and nod "Yes, she will come too."
"You knew about coronation?"
"Yes, his majesty already informed me about it."
"It means, everyone knew about it except me?" Ira pouted, sulking.
Everyone laughed, seeing her sulking cutely.
After having dinner, everyone went to their chamber.
Viraaj came from journey and he must be tired so others thought to let him rest first.
Ira was sitting on her bed, holding the wristlet her mother sent for her. Her lips were smiling slightly but her eyebrows were knitted in worry.
She was happy because finally her mother dared to give her something precious but she was worried thinking what her father and sister would do to her mother after knowing that she had given away something precious of their family to Ira.
"How long you intend to stare at it?" Raksheet asked, getting on bed.
