Chapter 560 - Chapter 560 A Body That Rejects Reality

The day began to turn into night, the sky above the ruins of the Philistines city grew darker. The remnants of sunlight slowly faded, leaving the city in heavy and silent darkness. Fitran and Beelzebub walked in silence, their steps slowly taking them away from the garden towards a safer area to rest.

They arrived at an old building, the remnants of a large house that was still intact enough to shelter them from the increasingly biting night air. The walls were cracked, but the structure was still sturdy enough to provide them protection.

In the haunting silence, Fitran remembered the legends often taught by his ancestors. It was said that places like this held trapped souls, watching over the brave who dared to enter the darkness. "Beelzebub," he said softly, "do you believe that this place has souls watching over us? Perhaps we are not the only ones here."

Beelzebub turned to him, her bright eyes shimmering under the light of a small fire. "I hope we are not disturbing them," she said, her voice trembling. "It seems this place is filled with unseen energy, and I can feel it."

Fitran lit a small fire in the middle of the room, providing the dim light and warmth they both needed. He watched Beelzebub sitting restlessly beside him, seemingly lost in her own thoughts.

"Are you okay?" Fitran asked gently, his hand touching her shoulder affectionately.

"There must be something watching over us here," Beelzebub murmured, her gaze distant, as if trying to penetrate another dimension. "Do you feel it? A watchfulness, something that envelops us in dark shadows."

Beelzebub nodded slowly, but her expression was filled with worry. "I feel strange, Fitran. As if my body is beginning to reject the presence of something within me."

Fitran immediately grew concerned, his eyes carefully observing Beelzebub's face. "What do you mean?"

Beelzebub looked at him with eyes full of anxiety. "I feel a foreign energy inside me, something trying to reject the life that is beginning to grow within me. I'm scared… I'm afraid my body will reject this baby."

Fitran quickly embraced her tightly, trying to calm the emotional turmoil Beelzebub was feeling. "You don't need to be afraid. We will find a way to get through this together. I won't let anything bad happen to you both."

"You know," Beelzebub whispered softly, her voice full of doubt, "I feel like something is watching us, whether from within or outside."

Fitran looked deeply at Beelzebub, trying to grasp the fear hidden behind her words. "We will face whatever is out there, Beel. Together, nothing can defeat us. If you feel someone is watching, we must be more vigilant."

Beelzebub rested her head on Fitran's shoulder, her body trembling slightly from the fear and worry that increasingly haunted her mind. "What should we do now?"

Fitran paused for a moment, thinking hard. "We must complete this ritual fully. We need to return to the Babelian altar at the Temple of Reversal. Only by completing that ritual can your body fully accept this life."

"That ritual," Beelzebub recalled, "are you sure we can do it?" She looked at Fitran with hope, seeking the confidence that might give her strength.

"Yes, we can," Fitran replied firmly, "I have done a lot of research. That altar is filled with the power to heal and protect. The energy we need is there. We just need to believe in ourselves."

Beelzebub took a deep breath, trying to strengthen herself. "I am ready to do anything to protect this child, Fitran. I don't care what the risks are."

Fitran looked at her seriously, nodding firmly. "I will be with you every step of the way. We will get through this together."

"Maybe we should call upon a protective spirit," Beelzebub suggested, "our spirits need to connect to make the ritual truly strong."

"That's a good idea," Fitran said enthusiastically, "but we must be careful. There are many forces we do not understand. We don't want to invite danger."

They finally decided to return to the Temple of Reversal before Beelzebub's condition worsened. The dark night streets felt longer, as if the city was deliberately trying to slow their steps, testing their strong resolve.

In the tension, Fitran tried to lighten the mood, "Beelzebub, remember when we first encountered this ritual? I still remember how you were amazed by the power that altar possessed."

Beelzebub sighed, though weakly, she smiled faintly, "Yes, I remember. I felt like there was something much greater than ourselves waiting to be revealed."

The air grew colder, and with each step, Beelzebub felt her body weakening. She tried to hold back the pain that slowly crept through her body, the energy increasingly trying to reject the reality of the new life growing within her.

"But this time… we are not just two people undergoing the ritual," Fitran added softly, "We carry hope and a future together."

When they finally arrived back at the Temple of Reversal, Beelzebub's body was almost out of strength. Fitran helped her onto the altar, his eyes filled with concern seeing her condition worsening.

"We must finish this now," Fitran said quietly, his voice firm yet gentle. "Perhaps this is our chance to rewrite destiny."

Beelzebub nodded weakly, her eyes beginning to glisten with tears from the pain growing stronger in her body. "Hurry, Fitran. I don't know how much longer my body can hold on."

Fitran took Beelzebub's hand, gripping it tightly, "Together we will change this story. I am here, I will never leave you."

Carefully, Fitran began the final Void-Chalice ritual, placing Beelzebub's hand in the center of the altar and starting to recite the ancient incantation with full conviction.

"From the void I rise, From love I create, This body is not a prison, This body is a chalice for life."

As the last words left Fitran's lips, the altar shone brightly, a golden light enveloping Beelzebub's body completely. The powerful energy instantly soothed the pain Beelzebub felt, slowly filling her body with warmth she had never felt before.

However, the calm only lasted for a moment. From within the altar, dark energy began to emerge, slowly forming a pitch-black shadow. In that moment, Beelzebub felt a stronger bond between herself and Fitran, as if their souls were intertwined in this ritual. "Fitran," she said softly, "whatever happens, we are not alone in this battle."

Umbra-Khalid reappeared, his expression filled with deep hatred.

"You think you can stop me so easily?" his voice echoed throughout the room, full of threat. "You are trying to fight against nature itself—reality will never accept what you are doing!"

Fitran stood tall, the Voidlight sword in his hand glowing brightly, ready to face whatever would come. "We do not care what reality accepts. We only care about what is right for us." This was a crucial moment; he knew he had to protect Beelzebub no matter what happened. "You are the light in the darkness," he added, looking at Beelzebub with conviction. "Together, we can face anything."

Umbra-Khalid laughed mockingly, his steps drawing closer to the altar. "You are too naive, Fitran. The love you have created is a grave mistake that will destroy you both."

But this time, Beelzebub stood tall beside Fitran, the golden energy from the altar still enveloping her, giving her new strength. "You are wrong. This love is the only truth. And we will protect it with our lives." With her words, she felt a burning power within her, as if her own words awakened an infinite spirit. "We are not just fighting for ourselves, but for all that we love."

Hearing that, Umbra-Khalid attacked with a dark power far stronger than before. Fitran held back the attack with all his might, the energy from the Voidlight sword clashing fiercely with the dark force.

A fierce battle ensued again, the temple room shaking violently from the clash of energies. But this time, Beelzebub was no longer just standing behind Fitran. With strong determination, she raised her hand, channeling energy from the altar directly towards Umbra-Khalid.

"We must unite, Fitran. Only with our love and courage can we defeat this darkness," Beelzebub shouted, her voice echoing in the deep silence, as if the entire temple was listening. Fitran looked at Beelzebub, his eyes shining with new spirit, as if feeling the pulse of magic flowing between them. Their aspirations, even in darkness, seemed more possible with each other's presence.

The golden energy merged with the red energy from Fitran's Voidlight, creating an extraordinary power that struck Umbra-Khalid, throwing him back against the wall with great force.

"You will never win against us," Beelzebub declared firmly, her breath heavy from the immense energy she had used.

Umbra-Khalid slowly rose again, his gaze filled with deep vengeance. "You may win today, but you will not escape the fate you have created for yourselves. I will return—and I will ensure that your love turns to dust."

With that final threat, Umbra-Khalid vanished back into the shadows, leaving the room in heavy silence.

Fitran immediately turned to Beelzebub, who looked very tired but smiled with relief. "Are you okay?"

Beelzebub nodded slowly, her face pale but her expression full of hope. "I feel my body accepting this life now, Fitran. I don't know what will happen next, but I know we can face it together."

Suddenly, a soft light appeared from the altar, illuminating their faces and creating a mystical aura around them. "Look at this light," Beelzebub said, her hand reaching towards the light. "This is a symbol of our hope and love, which will never fade."

Fitran smiled gently, holding her hand tightly, feeling the golden energy embracing them. "We are one, Beelzebub. No darkness can separate us."

Beelzebub nodded slowly, her face pale but her expression full of hope. "I feel my body accepting this life now, Fitran. I don't know what will happen next, but I know we can face it together."

Taking a deep breath, Fitran took a moment to gaze at Beelzebub, feeling the aura of wonder surrounding them. "I feel as if something is connected between us, Beelzebub. Like an invisible thread binding our souls. We are more than just two individuals; we are part of a larger story."

Beelzebub smiled, and for a moment, the light returned to her dim eyes. "A story filled with meaning and purpose. Perhaps this is why we were brought together, to write the next chapter together."

Fitran smiled gently, holding her hand tightly. "Yes, we will face it together. Whatever awaits us ahead, we will get through it."

They slowly left the altar, walking back out of the temple, their hearts filled with relief and a strong determination to face whatever would come. However, as they stepped out of the shadows, the air around them seemed to vibrate, as if sealing their words in an unbreakable bond of the magical power surrounding the ritual. From that moment on, every heartbeat seemed to sing a song of heroism that would never fade.

Yet, deep in their hearts, they knew that this struggle was not over—their journey was still long, and many great challenges awaited them. In the whispering winds, the silent voice of a mystical presence echoed, reminding them of every decision made, choosing to love even while haunted by the shadows of the past.

But for now, they chose to enjoy this small victory, a victory they achieved with strong determination and unwavering love. In the comfortable silence, they walked together, each step bringing them closer to a destiny woven in a mystical secret. Every drop of dew on the grass seemed to sparkle with hope, signaling that their journey would always be filled with light even as darkness enveloped them.

Leaving the ruins that now bore silent witness to their struggle to protect the new life growing within Beelzebub.
