Chapter 1 - Big dreams

There was a kid who had big dreams named Adam. He dreamed of becoming a knight in shining armor, a warrior who would protect the kingdom with his life.

One day, Adam met a beautiful girl named Eve. They became friends, growing up side by side. As children, they laughed, played, and dreamed together. Adam would always say, "I will be your knight in shining armor. I will protect you with everything I have, even if it costs me my life."

But one thing set them apart—Eve was a noble. In fact, she was destined to become the future queen. Adam, on the other hand, was just a boy with nothing but dreams.

Determined to change his fate, Adam dedicated himself to the path of knighthood. He trained tirelessly in martial arts and swordsmanship, pushing himself beyond his limits. Through sheer will and relentless effort, he eventually achieved his dream.

He became a knight.

Years passed. Five long years of war, bloodshed, and glory. Adam returned to the kingdom, victorious. The people celebrated him as a hero. But as he walked through the familiar streets, something else caught his eye.

A woman, standing in the light of the setting sun. More radiant than he remembered. More beautiful than any dream.

She was like a goddess.

As he approached her, his heart pounding, he stumbled slightly. The woman turned, her soft eyes widening.

"Adam?" she whispered.

He froze. That voice—it had been years, but he could never forget it.

It was Eve.

They talked as if time had never passed. For a moment, it felt as if things could go back to the way they once were. But then, Eve spoke a single word. A single word that shattered Adam's world.

Marriage.

Eve invited Adam to her wedding. A joyous occasion, one that would unite the kingdom. A moment that would define her reign.

Adam's world fell apart, as if a storm of arrows had pierced his chest, each word slashing his heart deeper than any blade ever could. He smiled weakly, but deep inside, he was already fading.

The day of the wedding arrived. The bells tolled, the people cheered, and the kingdom celebrated. But Adam was not there.

Why would he be?

He stood far away, watching from a distance, unseen by the joyous crowd. He gripped the hilt of his sword, his knuckles white, but his heart had no more fight left. His eyes, once filled with unbreakable determination, now held only sorrow.

"I might have a sword that can protect you," he whispered, his voice shaking. "But I am not a noble that can have you."

Tears fell. One by one, disappearing into the wind.

As everyone celebrated the marriage of their future queen, whispers of the hero of Ajimoto faded. He was never seen again. No one knew where he had gone. Some said he wandered the land, protecting others from the shadows. Some said he disappeared into the battlefield, never to return.

Eve lived on, ruling as queen, bearing children, and fulfilling her duty. In time, she forgot about him. Not because she wanted to, but because reality is cruel.

And as the hero of Ajimoto faded away on the wedding day, he whispered his final truth;

"Reality is cruel..."

And then, he was gone,Never seen again.

THE END.
