Chapter 111 - Chapter 110 - Is Your Sword Technique Orthodox? (Part 1)

"Holy crap, Dan Heng, you're a Descendant of the Dragon too? A comrade!"

Hearing this, several dark lines instantly appeared on Dan Heng's forehead. He had wondered what his companions would say when he finally revealed this form to them.

He never, ever expected Fu Zhu to say something like this!

Indeed, all his thousands of thoughts were no match for a single, casual remark from Fu Zhu.

Xing, on the other hand, didn't have much to say about Dan Heng's appearance. Instead, she turned to Fu Zhu beside her with a look of utter disbelief.

"Old bro, I was the Dragon King of the group chat yesterday! Don't tell me you guys secretly made another group chat and didn't invite me?!"

Fu Zhu shot Xing a disdainful look. He sometimes really suspected how Xing could have spent so much time by his side without picking up even a shred of his intelligence. Instead, her talent for being absurd was about to surpass his own.

"You idiot, I'm not talking about the kind of Dragon King that can summon wind and rain in a group chat!"

After dissing Xing, Fu Zhu couldn't help but put on a nostalgic expression.

"I remember one afternoon, I was sitting by the window, listening to the patter of raindrops hitting the earth. My mom suddenly stood at the door and said to me, 'I said to close the window, are you a dragon?!' It was at that moment that I began to question my own true species."

After hearing Fu Zhu's recollection, Xing's eyes widened, and she gasped.

Even the normally cool-headed Dan Heng couldn't help but curse inwardly.

The auntie's original words probably weren't that, right? Xing and March 7th aren't here, so you're the only one left to do the roasting.

"Hiss… Old bro, how come I've never heard mom say that? Could it be that I'm a dragon too?"

No, you're both deaf!

Dan Heng really couldn't stand the absurd commentary from these two geniuses anymore. He quickly interjected, "Fu Zhu, now is not the time to talk about this! Let's deal with the matter at hand first!"

Dan Shu couldn't agree more. First, Fu Zhu had disguised himself as Phantylia to trick her, and now he was putting her on the side to listen to his stand-up comedy routine?!

Did she have any face left to lose?!

At this thought, Dan Shu finally couldn't hold back her anger and roared at Fu Zhu.

"So, you were deceiving me from the very beginning?! To trick me, you even took out a real Stellaron! What are you after?!"

Dan Shu truly couldn't understand what the Disciples of the Medicine King possessed that was worth Fu Zhu's attention, to the point where he wouldn't hesitate to use a real Stellaron.

"What am I after?"

Fu Zhu smiled faintly and pressed the Godfall Sword in his hand against her neck. Before he could continue speaking, Dan Shu, standing before him, suddenly burst into flames.

Dan Shu couldn't help but let out a muffled grunt, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth as an expression of shock appeared on her face.

Fu Zhu had only lightly touched her with the flat of the sword, so why did it feel like she had been genuinely struck by a sword?!

And why had she spontaneously combusted?!

Seeing Dan Shu suddenly catch fire, Fu Zhu was also taken aback for a moment, but then he understood.

It was probably because of his Steve-like characteristics. His action of pressing the Godfall Sword against Dan Shu's neck was judged as an attack, and since he had repaired the sword, it now came with a Fire Aspect effect, which was why she suddenly caught fire and was injured.

"Sorry about that, I forgot. But just bear with it. The fire won't burn for too long, and it won't damage your clothes."

Just as Fu Zhu said, the flames on Dan Shu's body were extinguished automatically after burning for less than three seconds, and her clothes showed not a single trace of damage.

This magical scene left everyone present stunned.

Xing couldn't help but quip, "Is this fire so orthodox? It doesn't even burn clothes. Talk about being true to the master. Old bro, you're so unorthodox…"

Fu Zhu shot a sidelong glare at Xing. If there weren't outsiders present, he would have given her head a good whack. What kind of nonsense was she spouting!

Dan Shu, who had endured the searing pain of the flames, was now gritting her teeth.

Fu Zhu had tortured her like this and spent so much effort deceiving her; it must be to extract secrets related to the Disciples of the Medicine King from her!

In that case, she would absolutely not let him get his wish!

"Kill me! Even if I die, I won't tell you any secrets related to the Disciples of the Medicine King!"

"Okay."

Fu Zhu decisively swung the Godfall Sword in his hand. The sword slashed down, creating a half-meter-long diagonal gash in front of Dan Shu. Her outer robe tore apart with a ripping sound—the entire thing.

Fu Zhu's eyes widened, but it wasn't because he saw anything risqué.

"No way, are you Disciples of the Medicine King really that broke? As the leader, your clothes have such low durability!"

Xing, standing to the side, couldn't help but cover her eyes with both hands. She was still young and couldn't bear to see such a spicy scene, so she could only peek through the gaps between her fingers.

However, the risqué scene Xing imagined did not appear. Fu Zhu's one sword strike had only shredded Dan Shu's outer robe; she was still wearing other clothes underneath.

Nevertheless, Fu Zhu's clothes-shattering sword technique truly opened people's eyes.

The other Disciples of the Medicine King, seeing their leader humiliated like this, could no longer sit still.

"Damn you! We'll fight you to the death!"

However, they had just moved when Jing Yuan simply raised his hand, and the Divine Lord behind him swung its Formation Blade at them.

A dazzling flash of lightning struck, and the crowd of Disciples of the Medicine King that had followed Dan Shu ceased to exist.

The scantily clad Dan Shu was horrified. Was this the power of an Emanator? She hadn't even heard a single scream from her subordinates behind her.

Thinking back to her earlier mockery of Jing Yuan, she felt like nothing more than a buffoon.

Seeing that Jing Yuan had cleared out the small fry for him, Fu Zhu raised the Godfall Sword in his hand again and pointed it at Dan Shu.

"Alright, let's send you to see your subordinates. Anyway, I don't care about any secrets the Disciples of the Medicine King might have. I'm more curious about what equipment you'll drop after I kill you, or how much experience you'll give me."

Just as Fu Zhu raised his hand to strike, Jing Yuan quickly called out to stop him.

"My young friend Fu Zhu, wait a moment. Let her live. There are still some unanswered questions regarding this turmoil on the Luofu. We need to keep her and hand her over to the Ten-Lords Commission for interrogation."

Since Jing Yuan had said so, Fu Zhu could only lower the Godfall Sword in his hand. He then took a wooden boat out of his inventory and placed it behind Dan Shu. With a push on her shoulder, he shoved her into the boat, trapping her.

"Alright then. I'll spare her life on your account."

PS: I'll answer some questions from my dear readers here. First, regarding the MC content, I plan to write it in separate parts. It's not that I'll stop writing about MC mods halfway through; this is specifically about the SlashBlade MOD content.

Second, some readers have commented on the "stealing another man's girl" aspect. It's not that I won't write such a plot, but I'm relatively weak in that area. Besides, I prefer for things to feel like a natural development. Writing it suddenly feels a bit off, unless the target is someone like Sparkle, who is number one on the Asakusa popularity list.

Finally, what should happen will happen. It just hasn't gotten to that point yet, and it won't be too late. I hope everyone can understand.
