Chapter 108 - Chapter 107 - Xing: There's Signal in the Nether?

"The old bro of civil engineering is still the most reliable!"

Fu Zhu never expected the Amber Lord to bless these Iron Golems so quietly, without even showing up to act cool or summon him for a chat. Everything he did was practical!

To express his gratitude, Fu Zhu praised the Amber Lord in his heart. After all, the guy had given him a blessing, and it didn't cost a thing, so saying a few words to show his attitude was the least he could do.

Otherwise, what if the guy stopped giving him blessings in the future?

However... Fu Zhu discovered that the four Iron Golems he had just created on the spot were just standing there, not moving, having a staring contest with him.

Fu Zhu blinked, then pointed a hand behind him.

"You guys don't have any thoughts about those Disciples of the Medicine King outside?"

The Iron Golems remained silent, simply staying by Fu Zhu's side.

Fu Zhu figured it out. He opened his minimap and saw the problem.

Because he had deceived Dan Shu and the Disciples of the Medicine King into thinking he was Phantylia, they had long since been marked as friendly units. Plus, they weren't Zombies or Skeleton Archers, which were naturally hostile to Iron Golems, so of course, the Golems wouldn't attack them on their own!

Unless Nous also bestowed a blessing upon these four Iron Golems, allowing them to obey his commands. Otherwise... he'd just have to provoke a fight.

Fu Zhu sighed helplessly. He had no choice but to disable the hidden armor function of his decorative armor mod, making his full suit of armor reappear. Then he put a pumpkin on his head. Otherwise, if those Disciples of the Medicine King saw it was him, they definitely wouldn't attack him first.

After a simple disguise, Fu Zhu led the four Iron Golems and swaggered out from behind the shipping containers.

His grand entrance instantly made the already tense atmosphere on-site even more so, especially when the Cloud Knights and the Disciples of the Medicine King saw the four massive Iron Golems following behind him.

For a moment, neither side could determine if he was friend or foe.

Seeing the two sides, who had been fighting fiercely, suddenly come to a halt, Fu Zhu couldn't help but frown. He then walked up to one of the Disciples of the Medicine King.

The disciple, seeing Fu Zhu approach, immediately tensed up. "Who are you?"

Fu Zhu didn't waste any words. He walked right up and slapped the man across the face, leaving him completely stunned.

"Come on, hit me once."

The slapped disciple blinked, a bit dazed. Although he didn't quite understand what this person was up to, since the man dared to slap him, there was no way he was going to tolerate it. With a furious roar, he raised his weapon and swung it right at Fu Zhu's shoulder.

Clang!

The blade failed to pierce his armor, but it still managed to deal a small amount of damage to Fu Zhu.

Seeing that he had actually attacked, Fu Zhu couldn't help but grin.

"You were the one who started it!"

The Disciple of the Medicine King let out a bewildered "huh?" It was clearly Fu Zhu who had slapped him first and then demanded to be hit, so how did it become his fault in Fu Zhu's mouth?

However, reality didn't give this disciple much time to think. The Iron Golems, seeing Fu Zhu get hit, immediately swarmed in.

With one uppercut each from the four Iron Golems, the audacious disciple was sent flying into the air. He had barely landed before he was sent flying up again.

The surrounding Disciples of the Medicine King, seeing this, immediately rushed forward to help their comrade. But as soon as they got close, they were met with the merciless uppercuts of the Iron Golems.

In an instant, the area was filled with cries of agony. The Cloud Knights, standing not far away, watched with dumbfounded expressions as the Disciples of the Medicine King were repeatedly launched into the air.

It took them a long moment to snap out of it.

"Brothers, let's go! Since a hero is helping us, we will surely annihilate this group of Medicine King Disciples! We are the Cloud Knights, like clouds obscuring the sky, we shall shield the Xianzhou!"

"We are the Cloud Knights, like clouds obscuring the sky, we shall shield the Xianzhou!"

After a round of slogans, the morale of the Cloud Knights soared. They charged towards the constantly airborne Disciples of the Medicine King, and the situation immediately became a one-sided slaughter.

Seeing his objective achieved, Fu Zhu quietly slipped away from the scene. He needed to hurry and rendezvous with Dan Shu now, to act as a guide and lead everyone straight to Jing Yuan.

Meanwhile, on the other side.

After using Xing as a hostage to get out of the Divination Commission, Kafka led her into a small alley. After observing for a moment to confirm that no Cloud Knights or Diviners from the Divination Commission had followed, she finally let go of Xing.

"Alright, this should be fine."

Xing rubbed her neck, then her eyes, looking very tired from having to pretend to be out of it the whole time.

But she had to do it. After all, she had made a deal with Kafka. Kafka had demanded to be rescued from the Divination Commission, and in return, she would tell her about the script related to Fu Zhu.

Although letting Kafka go went against the goals of the Astral Express Crew, Xing had no choice. She just wanted to confirm if her old bro was still alive.

Besides, Fu Xuan had already interrogated Kafka, so they should have gotten the information they wanted. Kafka wasn't that important anymore.

"Kafka, you can tell me now, what's Elio's script?"

Kafka smiled faintly and nodded lightly.

"Of course, it's what we agreed upon. So, where would you like to start?"

Xing blurted out without a second thought, "Is my old bro still alive?"

Kafka nodded lightly. The words that Elio had spoken to her at that time surfaced in her mind, and she repeated them to Xing, word for word.

"Before entering the Luofu, it was still possible for Fu Zhu to be killed. But after entering the Luofu, apart from himself, there is no longer any existence in the world that can kill him, be it an Emanator or an Aeon. So you don't have to worry about his safety. Even if he's alone with Phantylia, the only one who could die is Phantylia."

"Then where is my old bro now?"

"I don't know. I've told you, Fu Zhu's appearance has completely disrupted all of Elio's scripts. We Stellaron Hunters are now just trying to get the script back on its original track as much as possible. If you really want to know his whereabouts, why don't you try calling him?

"My dear, technology is very advanced nowadays. There's nothing faster for finding out where he is than making a phone call."

After telling Xing everything she knew, Kafka gave her a wave.

"Well then, our cooperation is over. I hope you can find Fu Zhu smoothly. See you."

With that said, Kafka left without a backward glance, leaving Xing standing there alone, dazed.

"Can calling him really work?"

Xing was a little skeptical. Her old bro had gone to another world, after all. Could the signal really connect to the Nether?

But it wouldn't cost much to try anyway. Xing simply took out her phone and tentatively dialed Fu Zhu's number.

The phone didn't ring for long before it was answered.

"Hello, sis! You finally decided to reply to me. I thought you guys were group-bullying me, refusing to reply!"

Hearing that extremely familiar voice, Xing's subconscious reaction wasn't one of emotion or tears, but to blurt out:

"Old bro, there's signal in the Nether? Can you get online?"
