"Yes, Uncle Yang, I can."
Hearing this, a gleam of hidden excitement flashed deep in Welt Yang's eyes, and even his tone became somewhat urgent.
"Oh? What can you build? Can you make this?"
Welt quietly used his powers to project the image of a very cool robot that, from its appearance, looked remarkably like a Gundam.
Fu Zhu glanced at it and couldn't help but ask Welt in a low voice, "Uncle Yang, won't you get sued for projecting this? I've seen many anime where they have to censor Gundams!"
Welt coughed lightly and replied in the same low voice, "It's fine. This is a robot from an anime in my hometown. There are no copyright issues, so... can you make it?"
Fu Zhu didn't answer immediately but instead looked through his own MOD library.
After a bit of searching, Fu Zhu actually found quite a few MODs related to large robots, such as a Titanfall mod, a Gundam mod, and even mods for the mecha-monsters from Ultraman.
During his search, Fu Zhu also found a few slightly unfamiliar mods, like something for Stands and another for Honkai.
He could understand the Stand mod, but as for Honkai... he had only heard Welt mention it once and didn't know if it was the same thing. If he had some spare achievement points in the future, he could install it and see.
"Uncle Yang, there's nothing you can imagine that I can't build. It just requires a little time."
After scanning his library, Fu Zhu puffed out his chest and confidently assured Welt. The range of MC mods was all-encompassing!
Even if he couldn't find one, Fu Zhu felt he could learn to create mods himself, or just ask Herta to help him make one. He had a feeling the system was capable of more than he currently knew; he might even be able to create a mod himself.
Seeing Fu Zhu's confident guarantee, the excitement in Welt's eyes intensified. He was about to chat more with Fu Zhu but noticed that they had already entered the Seat of Divine Foresight, so he could only shake his head with some disappointment.
"Alright, let's talk about this next time. We have official business to attend to right now."
"Okay."
As Fu Zhu's group stepped into the Seat of Divine Foresight, they entered a spacious office and saw a gray-haired man in armor standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Fu Xuan at a long table. Seeing the group arrive, the two turned their gazes toward them.
"Welcome, Nameless guests of the Astral Express, to the Xianzhou Luofu. On behalf of the Luofu, I offer you our sincerest welcome. To be able to meet the renowned Nameless of the galaxy is truly a memorable occasion."
Right from the start, the gray-haired man's enthusiastic attitude left the group feeling a bit overwhelmed.
Beside him, Fu Xuan shot him an exasperated glance, holding a fist to her mouth as she coughed lightly.
"General, you have yet to introduce yourself to our guests."
"Oh, right. You're right, Diviner Fu. I almost forgot."
The gray-haired man coughed lightly and introduced himself with a smile. "I am Jing Yuan, the current general of the Luofu."
Fu Xuan followed Jing Yuan's lead and introduced herself as well.
"Although I have met some of you Nameless before, please allow me to reintroduce myself. I am Fu Xuan, the Master Diviner of the Divination Commission."
Fu Zhu's group returned the gesture with a polite Xianzhou salute, clasping their fists.
"We've heard much about you."
After the simple introductions, Jing Yuan wasted no more time and got straight to the point.
"Everyone, I have learned the specifics of the matter from Diviner Fu. First, I thank you for helping the Luofu capture the Stellaron Hunter who snuck onto the ship. I have already ordered them to be placed under strict guard. However, determining why they infiltrated the Luofu... will likely require some time for interrogation."
Upon hearing Jing Yuan's words, Welt couldn't help but be taken aback. He turned to look at Fu Zhu, Xing, and March 7th.
What had these three little ones been up to while they were separated? In just one short morning, they had actually managed to capture a Stellaron Hunter?
In comparison, he had accomplished nothing. He had even relied on these three to get him through the gates of the Seat of Divine Foresight.
After a moment's hesitation, Welt shot Fu Zhu a meaningful look.
He felt it was better to let Fu Zhu lead this conversation with Jing Yuan. He would just provide support from the side. After all, their information was not on the same level. Even though they had only been separated for a single morning, Welt felt like he had missed several major events.
Fu Zhu understood the look Welt gave him. Taking a small step forward, he drew the gazes of Jing Yuan and Fu Xuan to himself.
"General, regarding the Stellaron Hunter's purpose for infiltrating the Luofu, we have a small theory. The Stellaron."
Jing Yuan was no fool. Hearing Fu Zhu's words, he nodded in agreement and continued the analysis based on Fu Zhu's statement.
"Indeed. If it were me, without sufficient 'benefit' to motivate me, I would not take the initiative to seek out the Xianzhou Alliance and risk being hunted by the Alliance's patrols to infiltrate the Luofu. The Stellaron is likely the 'benefit' driving their actions."
"However, we cannot rule out other possibilities. As I understand it, there is a member of the Stellaron Hunters known as a slave to fate. Perhaps they have infiltrated the Luofu under its arrangements for some other purpose."
Fu Zhu merely nodded and said nothing more. In these situations, it was best to let the Luofu authorities do their own thinking.
However, Jing Yuan did not dwell too long on the Stellaron Hunter's motives. Instead, he shifted the topic back to Fu Zhu and his group.
"I have a presumptuous request. I wonder if you Nameless would be willing to lend a hand?"
"General, please speak freely."
This was precisely the goal of Fu Zhu's group. They needed a legitimate reason to get involved in this matter to facilitate their subsequent investigation into the Stellaron's whereabouts. An official invitation from the Luofu was the best-case scenario.
Although Jing Yuan's lips were smiling, his tone grew serious.
"While the Luofu has its methods for dealing with Stellarons, when it comes to dealing with the Stellaron Hunters, we may not be as experienced as you Nameless. Therefore, I hope to borrow your strength to eliminate the hidden dangers lurking on the Luofu. How about it? Once the matter is resolved, the Luofu will certainly reward you handsomely!"
Fu Zhu glanced at his companions and then readily agreed.
"The Astral Express has never been one to turn a blind eye to the Stellaron Hunters. Though our power is meager, we hope to be of some assistance to the Luofu."
A smile appeared on Jing Yuan's face as he saluted them with a clasped fist.
"Then, on behalf of the Luofu, I thank you all. Shortly, I will have someone arrange for your food and lodging on the Luofu. For as long as you are on the Luofu, all expenses will be covered by the Seat of Divine Foresight!"
"Thank you, General."
After the discussion concluded, Yanqing was instructed to arrange for their accommodations.
Jing Yuan watched with his hands behind his back as Fu Zhu's group departed. His gaze couldn't help but shift to Fu Xuan, who had been staring intently at Fu Zhu from the very beginning. He couldn't resist teasing her.
"What's this? Has our Diviner Fu taken a liking to one of the Nameless?"
Jing Yuan had expected this joke to be met with a sharp retort from Fu Xuan. Instead, he saw her turn her head away with a crimson blush, and the smile on his face vanished.
What was going on? Did he actually hit the mark?!
"Of... of course not!"
Although it was a denial, paired with Fu Xuan's flushed face, it was completely unconvincing.
This sight made Jing Yuan narrow his eyes. "Let me guess... is it that young man named Fu Zhu?"
Fu Xuan flinched as if a sensitive spot had been poked, turning her head back to look at Jing Yuan in disbelief.
"General, how did you know?! Did Qingque tell you something in private?"
"Of course not."
Jing Yuan shrugged with a grin and spread his hands. "It was just a simple process of elimination."
First, he excluded the two female Nameless. That left only Fu Zhu and Welt.
And since they were not long-life species, the only one likely to pique the interest of someone as young as Fu Xuan—among the long-life species—was Fu Zhu.
Seeing that Jing Yuan had guessed correctly, Fu Xuan sighed helplessly. Looking at the empty doorway, she couldn't help but ask Jing Yuan.
"General, do you think the Divination Matrix can be wrong?"
"Hmm... speaking of the Divination Matrix, you should know it better than I do. But I don't think it can make a significant error. For how many Amber Eras has the Divination Matrix foretold fortunes for the Luofu? You should know this better than anyone."
"Is that so..."
Fu Xuan pursed her lips, then directly pulled out her phone from her skirt pocket and began typing a message.
Jing Yuan quietly leaned over to peek but was spotted by a wary Fu Xuan, forcing him to sheepishly turn his head away.
"Ahem, Diviner Fu, what are you doing?"
"Asking Fu Zhu out."
"So direct?!"
Is this the same taciturn Fu Xuan from his memory?
Fu Xuan shot Jing Yuan a cold glare, then hummed lightly and began walking out of the Seat of Divine Foresight, her fingers still busily typing a message.
Since both she and the General agreed that the Divination Matrix was unlikely to be wrong, then that meant Fu Zhu truly was her fated person.
Since she couldn't change it, she would at least take the initiative!
"Master Fu Zhu, if you need anything, feel free to contact me at any time."
After escorting Fu Zhu's group back to the guest inn and seeing them settled, Yanqing left with those words.
Welt watched Yanqing leave, then turned to the three members of Fu Zhu's group and said, "We have the next half a day to act freely."
"Really?" ×2
March 7th and Xing looked at Welt with pleasant surprise, then with some uncertainty, they asked again, "Uncle Yang, can we really move about freely?"
Welt smiled and nodded.
"Yes. The most difficult part of the situation has been resolved. We likely won't get any clues about the Stellaron in the short term. That will probably have to wait until the Luofu interrogates the captured Stellaron Hunter. I will maintain contact with the Luofu. You all should use this short break to rest."
"Alright!"
March 7th and Xing high-fived joyfully before turning in unison to the indifferent Fu Zhu.
"Fu Zhu (Old Bro)! Let's go shopping!"
Fu Zhu shrugged nonchalantly. "Whatever. But on the condition that I'm not carrying your things."
"No problem!"
March 7th patted the arm of the Iron Golem standing beside them. "We'll just have the Iron Golem follow us! We can hang anything on it!"
Fu Zhu gave the two a speechless look but didn't refuse. It was fine as long as they were happy.
And so, before Fu Zhu could even rest for a moment in the inn, he was dragged outside by the two girls, with the Iron Golem following closely behind.
Just as the three humans and one golem stepped out of the inn, a little girl, barely as tall as their stomachs, stood before them with her arms spread wide, blocking their path.
"Wait! You vandals who destroyed my medical center! Pay up!"
The three of them immediately stopped and looked quizzically at the little girl before them, who had small dragon horns on her head.
"Lady Bailu, please wait!"
Not far away, two female attendants ran over, panting as they stopped beside Bailu.
Bailu ignored her two attendants, still puffing her cheeks out as she glared at Fu Zhu's group and the Iron Golem behind them.
"Pay for my medical center! Do you know how many patients couldn't get timely treatment after you smashed it?! Even though no lives were lost, you made them suffer for a long time!"
The three of you, look at me, I look at you. In the end, it was March 7th who bent down slightly and asked, "Little sister, if you're referring to the medical center, shouldn't you be looking for the Department of Balance?"
The medical center was damaged by the Iron Golem while subduing Blade. Yanqing had stated at the time that the Seat of Divine Foresight would cover all damages, so it made no sense for Bailu to come looking for them.
"Huh? Is that so?"
Bailu tilted her head in confusion, pointing a finger to her lips as she looked at her two attendants.
"Is what they're saying true?"
The attendants wiped their sweat and nodded, looking somewhat helpless.
"It is, Lady Bailu. We tried to tell you at the time, but you ran off to apprehend them before we could finish..."
"But what about the patients who haven't been treated? The medical center is destroyed, there's no place to house them!"
"Don't worry, Lady Bailu. The people from the Department of Balance are already preparing to rebuild it. It will only take a few days to have it built anew."
"But that will still cause such a long delay..."
Hearing their exchange, Xing's eyebrows shot up uncontrollably. Just as she was about to speak, Fu Zhu suddenly clapped a hand over her mouth.
Xing looked at Fu Zhu, baffled, blinking her eyes as if asking what he was doing.
Fu Zhu said exasperatedly, "Although I don't know what you were about to say, I have a feeling you were about to find some trouble for me to deal with."
Xing reached up to pry off Fu Zhu's hand, but no matter how hard she pulled, she couldn't break free.
Fu Zhu chuckled. "Don't waste your energy, little sis. When it comes to strength, March is at the bottom, and you're second to last."
March 7th crossed her arms unhappily. "Hey, you two can argue, but leave me out of it!"
After several failed attempts to break free, Xing simply extended the tip of her tongue and licked Fu Zhu's palm.
The warm sensation was like an electric shock, causing Fu Zhu to instinctively retract his hand.
Having regained her ability to speak, Xing shot Fu Zhu a defiant look, raising her eyebrows before turning to Bailu.
"It's just a medical center! My brother can build one for you in a flash!"
After saying this, Xing didn't forget to give Fu Zhu a big thumbs-up.
"Old Bro, you must remember: looking for trouble when there's none is the specialty of us Nameless!"
She was just wondering how to pass this boring time. Finding something for her old bro to do was perfect, then she and March could watch the show from the sidelines!
Fu Zhu gave Xing an interstellar friendly gesture.
"I'm truly blessed to have a sister like you."
"Hehe!"
Bailu, whose attention had been captured by Xing's words, turned her gaze to Fu Zhu, pointing a finger to her lips as she asked curiously.
"Big brother, you can build houses?"
Since she had asked, Fu Zhu could only nod.
"I can, but my services are expensive."
Bailu's face immediately lit up with joy as she patted her chest. "As long as you, big brother, can rebuild the medical center quickly so I can continue treating patients, you can charge as much as you want! It's not like I'm the one paying!"
So that's why you're so generous, because you're not the one footing the bill!
With the atmosphere hyped up to this point, Fu Zhu naturally agreed. Besides, since this counted as a "side quest," he was determined to get some benefits for himself.
Since the other party wanted him to rebuild a medical center, there would be no shortage of various medicinal materials inside. He might be able to find some items that could be converted. It would be even better if he could find something related to potion-making in MC.
The next course of action on the Luofu was still uncertain. He didn't know what kind of enemies he would encounter. The SlashBlade MOD currently couldn't produce powerful swords; at best, he could make a wooden one, which was clearly not enough.
If he could brew the various potions from MC, it would make his subsequent actions much smoother.
"Okay, big brother, follow me!"
Seeing Fu Zhu agree, Bailu's short legs took off, and she started running.
"Hey, hey, Lady Bailu, wait for us!"
The two attendants had no choice but to once again start running to catch up. They poor things hadn't even had a moment to rest, and now they were running again.
Fu Zhu's group of three humans and one golem followed along.
When they arrived at the ruins of the medical center, the area had already been cordoned off with fences by the Department of Balance. The person in charge of the reconstruction saw Bailu and Fu Zhu's group arrive and immediately came over.
"Lady Dragon, and you must be the Nameless guests the General mentioned?"
Fu Zhu looked at the person in charge with some surprise. "You know us?"
The person in charge smiled and nodded. "Lord Yanqing has already explained the cause of the damage to the medical center, so we were specifically assigned to handle the reconstruction here."
Bailu, however, shook her head. "You don't need to rebuild it. This big brother said he can do it!"
The person in charge was stunned for a moment, then looked at Fu Zhu and waved his hands repeatedly. "Honored guest, it's best if you leave this matter to us from the Department of Balance. We wouldn't want to trouble our guests."
"It's no trouble. It will only take a few minutes."
Fu Zhu glanced at the ruins of the medical center. It was called ruins, but the situation was actually much better than that. Only a few walls were damaged, and the key load-bearing pillars were intact, so the overall structure of the house hadn't collapsed. All he needed to do was use blocks to patch up the holes or renovate the walls.
For Steve, a small job like this was too long if it even took a few minutes!
The person in charge wanted to say more, but Fu Zhu had already taken out some wooden planks and walked forward.
Then, under the astonished gaze of the person in charge, Fu Zhu worked his magic. In less than two minutes, the originally damaged walls of the medical center had been completely replaced with new wooden planks.
"This... honored guest, there are many things to consider when reconstructing a building..."
Although the person in charge was surprised by Fu Zhu's speed, he still tactfully questioned Fu Zhu's technique.
Seeing the person in charge doubt her brother's craftsmanship, Xing immediately pulled out her baseball bat with a look of indignation. Of course, she wasn't going to hit him. Instead, she walked directly to the wall Fu Zhu had just repaired and swung the bat right at it.
With a dull thud, the wooden wall remained completely unscathed. Instead, Xing's hands were numb from the impact.
She grimaced, shaking her numb hands, then turned to the person in charge and said, "Now, do you still have any doubts?"
The person in charge looked at Xing with a bewildered expression, then at the perfectly intact wooden wall, and stammered as he shook his head.
"No, no more doubts."
As expected of the Nameless, even their way of inspecting a building is so unconventional!
And so, the person in charge decisively had his men remove the fences around the medical center and departed.
After watching the people from the Department of Balance leave, Fu Zhu snapped his fingers at Bailu.
"Done. Now let me see what good stuff you have in your shop."
"Huh?"
Bailu asked, confused, "You don't want money?"
"Money is not very useful to me. Even if I can buy things online, it takes time. To me, time is more valuable than money."
Although Fu Zhu wasn't familiar with the currency of this world, whether it was metal coins or paper money, it was of little use to him. At best, he could convert it into metal nuggets and paper, which was less efficient than just picking out useful items from Bailu's medical center.
Even though Bailu was small, the fact that she had two attendants following her constantly meant her status was not low. Therefore, her medical center was bound to have some good things!
"Alright then."
Bailu didn't object to Fu Zhu's request. After all, she was the one who had asked for his help in rebuilding. However, she didn't forget to give him a reminder.
"Let me be clear. Because of the fight here earlier, most of the medicinal materials have been moved. If there's anything you specifically need, tell me, and I'll have someone fetch it for you."
This made Fu Zhu look at Bailu in a new light. This little girl might be a bit reckless, but she was quite sensible.
Fu Zhu couldn't help but sigh in his heart.
Are all the little kids on the Luofu this well-behaved?
The group entered the medical center. The Iron Golem was left outside due to its height. Xing and March 7th curiously examined the items that hadn't yet been moved due to time constraints.
Fu Zhu also rummaged around, picking up every object to see how the system would react.
[Medical Cotton]
[Can be Converted: String]
Ordinary, but a bit useful. Take it!
[Tweezers]
[Can be Converted: Shears]
Although I can make these anytime, it's free... and free stuff is the best! Take it!
[Human Acupuncture Point Chart]
[Can be Converted: Painting]
Useless, but take it anyway!
Bailu and her two attendants watched with dumbfounded expressions as everything Fu Zhu touched would simply vanish in the next second, with no telling where he put it. Bailu had originally planned to introduce the items he saw one by one so he could choose his reward.
But she never expected Fu Zhu to be so indiscriminate! He didn't even seem to care if he could use it. If he touched it, he took it!
Just as Fu Zhu was happily looting, his peripheral vision caught sight of some pharmaceutical equipment on a nearby table. His eyes instantly lit up as he reached out and picked it up.
[Pharmacy Station]
[Can be Converted: Brewing Stand]
Nice! Take it!
Successfully obtaining the Brewing Stand made Fu Zhu ecstatic. Next, all he needed was to find something that could be converted into a Blaze Rod or Blaze Powder, and he could start brewing potions! The arrows he had fleeced from March 7th earlier could finally be put to use!
Just as Fu Zhu was celebrating his acquisition of the Brewing Stand, several people burst in, carrying a man who was tied up with ropes.
"Lady Dragon, help!"
Everyone in the medical center was drawn by the shout and turned their gazes over.
They saw the group that had rushed in place the bound man on the floor, then look at Bailu with desperation.
"Lady Dragon, he's Mara-Struck! Please, help him, can you save him?"
"Mara-Struck?"
Hearing this, Bailu's tender face immediately turned serious. She rushed over to the man who had been put on the floor.
The man on the floor, bound by ropes, had golden branches beginning to sprout from his body. His face was contorted in extreme agony, and inhuman growls escaped his mouth from time to time.
March 7th and Xing, who had never seen a Mara-Struck person before, were frightened by the scene and instinctively shrank back to Fu Zhu's side.
Upon hearing the words "Mara-Struck," Fu Zhu's interest was instantly piqued. He even drew his Divine Fall Sword with his right hand, ready for action at any moment.
The last Mara-Struck person he encountered was "saved" by Yanqing before he could even farm it a few hundred times.
Now that he had caught another one, if possible, he was going to farm it at least a few hundred times! Enough to get a full set of Golden Apples, at least!
After examining the patient for a moment, Bailu's brows furrowed, and she shook her head regretfully.
"I'm sorry, I can't save him. I can only prescribe some medicine to alleviate his pain, then contact the Cloud Knights to handle it."
"How... how can this be..."
Hearing Bailu's words, some of the family members couldn't help but start crying, while others looked at Bailu with tears in their eyes, unwilling to give up.
"Lady Dragon, everyone says your medical skills are superb. How can you not save him? He... he just started showing signs of succumbing to Mara!"
Bailu put on a stern face, an expression that didn't match her appearance.
"No matter how long one has been succumbing, as soon as it begins, there is no cure. As people of the Xianzhou, you should know this better than anyone."
The group couldn't help but lower their heads. Bailu was right. There was no cure for the Mara-Struck. They knew this all too well.
But who would be willing to give up on their own family and friends, to let them fall to the Mara?
Hiding behind Fu Zhu, March 7th couldn't help but ask Bailu.
"Mara-Struck... what is it?"
"It's a 'curse' that comes from the blessing of [Abundance]." Bailu's mood was low, so she gave March 7th a simple explanation.
"A curse..."
March 7th looked sympathetically at the weeping family members, then almost subconsciously glanced at Fu Zhu beside her.
Whenever they encountered any kind of trouble, Fu Zhu could always pull out his Upper, Middle, and Lower Strategies. So now...
But the moment this thought arose, March 7th immediately squashed it.
She wouldn't add to Fu Zhu's troubles with such a difficult and troublesome matter. She also noticed that even Xing, who was watching the family weep, was standing quietly beside Fu Zhu without doing anything.
Normally, a busybody like Xing would have already asked Fu Zhu if there was a way. But right now, she was completely silent.
Xing seemed to notice March 7th's gaze and just shook her head.
Indeed, she loved asking her old bro for help, but the premise was that it wouldn't cause him trouble or make him pay a heavy price. For example, when Fu Zhu helped Bailu rebuild the medical center, she knew beforehand that her brother had the ability to build houses instantly, which is why she suggested it.
She had no problem with suggesting small, troublesome things that would, at most, earn her a few complaints from her brother, as it helped him build connections and social capital.
But treating the Mara-Struck? The moment she heard it was related to an Aeon, Xing immediately extinguished any thought of asking her brother for help. She wouldn't let anyone trouble her brother with this.
This involved an Aeon! What if something went wrong during the process?
She only had one old bro!
In contrast to Xing's reluctance, Fu Zhu's mind was racing when he heard that the Mara-Struck were related to Abundance.
He had received a clue from the system long ago about how to switch his survival mode: the power of the Path of [Abundance]!
If he could attract the attention of Abundance, he could escape the limited mode and no longer have to live in fear.
The Mara-Struck person before him might just be his chance to attract Abundance's attention.
However, this was just Fu Zhu's speculation. After all, he knew little about the Path of Abundance and couldn't guarantee that treating a Mara-Struck person would get its attention. Furthermore, Fu Zhu didn't even know what state "Mara-Struck" truly was.
He could currently think of only two ways to treat the Mara-Struck.
First, the panacea that could remove all negative effects—Milk!
Second, the ritual used in MC to cure zombie villagers and restore their original form, which required a Potion of Weakness and a Golden Apple.
Currently, he had no way of getting a Potion of Weakness, so the second method was temporarily unusable. Relying solely on milk, Fu Zhu wasn't 100% certain he could cure the Mara-Struck. It might even expose one of his trump cards, his milk.
After thinking it over, Fu Zhu decided to give up on the idea of saving this Mara-Struck person for now.
He could cure them, but not right now.
And once he was certain he could, there was no rush.
Perhaps he could first have a private chat with Jing Yuan about this matter.
