Chapter 78 - CHAPTER 77 – THE STORY BEHIND THIS TIMELINE

*Note: Ok, I didn't receive the 15 comments I wanted, only 8 but it doesn't mind because that's enough for me. Well, among these people and surprinsigly, the most of them like yuri, some of them if the protagonist is there and other that doesn't mind if the protagonist is in there or not. Based on this, I decided something. I will do chapters no canon which will have yuri, sometimes with the protagonist and sometimes only the girls.

These chapters won't be canon so the people who don't like yuri could not read and it won't mind because it won't be canon and people who likes yuri will can enjoy seeing her favourite waifus of this fic having sex between them.

The first yuri chapter is already writted but you'll have to wait a few chapters more, like 10 or so because the chapter is related to a new character we will see very soon.

After said this... I'll publish yuri picture on those chapter so people who read it can have it and people who don't like it wouldn't see. I hope this sastisfy everyone, people who likes yuri and people who hate it.

Have a good day :)

...

"Is there a race capable of doing that?" – asked Sephie R, confused.

"No. At least not in this galaxy." – Lala R shook her head.

"And what about the neighboring galaxies?" – Nana R asked curiously.

"Neither. Otherwise, such a race would've been under that king's radar this whole time. Just imagine what he'd do if he found out about a species capable of traveling through timelines." – said Momo R.

"Wait. King? Did something happen to him?" – Lala asked with curiosity.

When they mentioned the king, the disgusted expressions that appeared on their faces made the girls frown. Could it be that their father was evil in this timeline or something?

"No. He's alive and well." – Nana R replied.

"But I don't understand. Why are you talking about him like that?" – Momo asked, puzzled.

"Why? Do you think being a cruel, oppressive dictator and a merciless killer isn't reason enough?" – Lala R said angrily.

Just thinking about that bastard made her clench her fists—she could hardly resist the urge to tear him apart with her own hands.

"It can't be…" – Lala muttered, shocked.

In truth, all of us were stunned. Apparently, in this timeline, Gid was a dictator, and judging by the expressions of Lala R and the others, something had happened that made them hate him so much.

"Isn't your father like that in your timeline?" – Sephie R asked curiously.

"Of course not! Our father is the kindest and wisest ruler that's ever lived!" – Nana said proudly.

"Fair and noble." – Momo nodded.

"And really strong!" – added Lala.

Hearing that, the girls of this timeline sighed. Their father, good, wise, and strong? To them, the timeline Akira and the others came from was the strange one.

"But there's something I don't understand." – Yami suddenly said.

"What is it?" – asked Lala R.

"Your hair color—it's blonde." – Yami pointed out.

"I don't see the issue. In our timeline, we inherited our father's hair color, while in yours, you inherited your mother's. Strange, but not impossible." – Momo R explained.

She didn't see why it was such a big deal.

"What are you talking about? Dad has black hair." – Lala said.

"Really? In our timeline, his hair is blonde." – Nana R replied.

"Blonde? Wait… who exactly is your father?" – I asked, curious.

Something didn't add up here.

"His name is Zastin." – Lala R said with a look of pure disgust.

At that moment, everyone froze. For a few seconds, no one could react. Zastin? The father of Lala, Momo, and Nana in this timeline—not Gid? How was that even possible?

"Zastin? Not Gid?" – Nana asked in disbelief.

Hearing that name, Sephie R's expression tensed slightly.

"Gid? Is Gid still alive in your timeline?" – Sephie asked, surprised.

"Gid is our father and the king of the galaxy! How could he be dead?" – Nana said firmly.

Once again, silence filled the room.

"It seems this timeline is very different from ours…" – Mikan murmured.

Mikan didn't fully grasp what was going on, but it didn't take much to see that this world was completely unlike their own.

"It seems the differences between our timelines are far greater than we thought. Could you tell us what happened after the Great War? Assuming it even existed here." – Momo asked.

"Of course it existed. Everyone in the galaxy knows that story." – Momo R nodded.

"Then that's probably where our histories diverged. Could you tell us what happened? Maybe we can figure out when exactly our timelines split apart." – I said with curiosity.

"We can. After all, this story is common knowledge here…" – Lala R agreed.

Then, they began telling us their story.

Apparently, just like in our timeline, the Great War did take place, and Gid fought in it alongside Zastin. As in our history, Gid won the war and became king… or rather, he should have. But in this timeline, Gid didn't believe himself capable of ruling an entire galaxy, so he gave the throne to Zastin, whom he considered a genius fit to lead.

After ascending to power, Zastin married the woman he loved—Sephie—and for a time, the galaxy entered an era of unprecedented peace.

Years passed, and eventually Lala, Nana, and Momo were born. They grew up into cheerful girls of twelve and eleven years old respectively. That was when everything began to fall apart.

They say power corrupts—and that's not just a saying. People with fragile minds, no matter how intelligent they are, often lose themselves when given absolute control.

Zastin from this timeline was no exception. Despite his intellect, he allowed power to consume him. He became a cruel, oppressive dictator, a man who conquered planets and enslaved entire species whose worlds contained valuable resources.

The only similarity to our timeline was that Zastin also appointed governors for the planets he conquered—of course, all men. But beyond loyalty, he placed no restrictions on them, allowing their lust and greed to run rampant.

Many of them devoted themselves solely to collecting women of different races for their own pleasure, whether those women had partners or not.

This went on for some time—until Gid, captain of the royal guard, tried to confront Zastin and reason with him. His attempt failed. He was imprisoned. But the people didn't stay silent for long. Soon, rebellion sparked across the galaxy. Poorly organized, most of them perished without achieving anything… until Lala, Momo, Nana, and Sephie took action.

Since their father's corruption, they had tried again and again to make him understand that a good ruler wasn't one who oppressed his people, but one who guided them, improved their quality of life, established laws for order, and punished true criminals. Zastin didn't listen. Furious at their defiance, he imprisoned them in a palace on the planet Deviluke, forbidding them to ever leave.

Seeing what their father had become—and the suffering of the people—Lala, Momo, and Nana grew to hate him with every fiber of their being. In secret, together with their mother, they formed The Resistance—a movement dedicated to overthrowing Zastin's tyrannical rule and restoring peace to the galaxy… and even beyond.

Do you think Zastin's ambitions stopped at one galaxy? The answer is simple: no. Once he amassed enough military power, he invaded neighboring galaxies, subjugating their races and becoming ruler of five galaxies—for now.

Even so, Lala and the others continued to act in the shadows, expanding their forces. Many of the guards assigned to watch over them despised Zastin too—some had been forced into service, others joined hoping for a chance to kill him after he'd stolen their loved ones. Each had their own reasons, but all united under one cause after hearing of The Resistance.

Over time, their numbers grew, and they began sabotaging Zastin's operations—assassinating nobles, destroying key facilities, and spreading hope among the oppressed.

But Zastin, though drunk with power, still retained his intellect. Eventually, he discovered who led this rising rebellion. Enraged, he ordered the immediate capture and execution of his own family. In his empire, betrayal was punished by death—no exceptions, not even for kin.

To capture them, he sent Gid and a handful of soldiers loyal only to him. They were ordered to seize the family and bring them before Zastin.

What Zastin didn't know was that Gid had already joined The Resistance. He secretly warned the girls, allowing them to escape the planet aboard a prepared emergency ship. When Zastin learned of their escape, he quickly discovered who had helped them—and sentenced Gid to death.

Defying him was suicide, and Zastin knew his men could never defeat Gid in combat. So he resorted to deceit. Pretending ignorance, he poisoned Gid's food with a strength-suppressing toxin—a venom derived from a rare plant that temporarily nullified the user's power for exactly ten minutes.

Gid, unaware, ate the meal and was executed by Zastin himself—beheaded without mercy.

Afterward, Zastin publicly announced that Gid, captain of the royal guard, had been executed for treason, warning that anyone who defied him would share the same fate.

Hearing this, for the first time in a long while, Lala and the others cried. They had always been fond of Gid; he'd helped them, protected them, and shared Zastin's plans in secret. He had been a true friend—and he'd died to save them.

But instead of despair, their grief turned into hatred and determination. They vowed revenge. Yet there was one problem: where could they establish a new base? It had to be a planet their father despised or ignored. Soon, they found their answer—Earth.

Just like the Gid from Akira's dimension, Zastin of this world believed in humanity's potential. That belief spared Earth from conquest; he preferred to let humans develop further before deciding their fate—odd behavior for someone who otherwise cared nothing for life.

So they fled to Earth. It wasn't hard—one of the soldiers assigned to guard the planet was secretly part of The Resistance, granting them easy access.

Upon arrival, they deemed Sainan the perfect city for refuge. Using a strange device, they transferred all human residents elsewhere, ensuring no one would get caught up in their war. To avoid suspicion, the displaced humans were replaced by androids with simple AI—hence why they resembled NPCs from video games.

The reason they didn't use advanced AI was simple: The Resistance lacked resources and couldn't afford it.

Afterward, they built underground bases filled with surveillance systems to avoid detection.

From that point on, many others joined them—including this timeline's Tearju, Yami, and Mikado. In this version of events, Tearju created Yami as her daughter, not as a weapon, since she had never found a man she loved. As a result, Yami wasn't designed for combat and didn't possess the same abilities as the Yami from Akira's timeline.
