Chapter 201 - Chapter 201: Where’s Your Bottom Line? Where’s Your Bottom Line?

"Come, I've already made preparations. We can start eating right away…"

As he guided Lot and Morgan, King Leodegrance spoke.

At the same time, his gaze drifted toward the dining table at the center of the hall.

However, upon seeing a figure sitting right in the middle of the table, already eating, his expression shifted.

Not only was she eating, but she was also complaining: "This food… really isn't all that good."

Hearing someone not only stealing food but also criticizing it, King Leodegrance's anger flared.

Are you bullying me because I'm an honest man?

He took a step forward, ready to reprimand the thief and order his subordinates to arrest this brazen fool.

"You! Oh… Y-Your Majesty?!"

Just as King Leodegrance was about to unleash his scolding, he finally got a clear look at the person eating Scáthach.

Instantly, all the fury in his stomach vanished.

Never mind… never mind.

I can't afford to provoke her.

King Leodegrance silently steeled himself.

Meanwhile, Morgan and Lot also noticed Scáthach's presence.

"Sister, you're here too."

Morgan walked forward and lightly patted Scáthach's shoulder.

Sensing the immense magical energy contained within Morgan's body, Scáthach was deeply satisfied.

As expected, now that she is becoming the ruler of Britain, her magical energy has grown even stronger.

At this point, her strength already ranks among the top in the entire world.

However, perhaps due to Lot's overprotectiveness, Morgan's actual combat experience wasn't particularly high. She still needed some training to fully match her current magical capacity.

Moreover, while Morgan's power was formidable, it was still far from sufficient for the goals she sought to achieve.

She needed to grow even stronger.

And the method to strengthen her was

Quite simple, actually.

This very land beneath her feet.

As Morgan's control over this land deepened, her power would gradually increase.

Additionally

Scáthach glanced at Lot beside her.

She couldn't fully decipher him.

But she could tell that the spatial-temporal energy surrounding him had grown even more profound, and his own existence had become even more enigmatic.

Interesting. Truly interesting.

"Mm. Since you two have arrived, of course I had to come see you."

She continued eating as she replied to Morgan.

"Alright, you've had a long journey. Eat something first, then find a place to rest. Though King Leodegrance's food is truly lacking, his accommodations are quite comfortable."

"Mhm."

Morgan nodded lightly at Scáthach's words.

Beside them, King Leodegrance couldn't help but force a bitter smile upon hearing Scáthach act as if she were the host and he were just some errand boy.

Fine, fine.

I really can't afford to offend this lady.

What else can I do?

Just play along.

Thus, King Leodegrance found a seat and sat down, not daring to say another word.

As for Lot and Morgan, they only took a few bites before setting down their utensils.

For the people of Camelot, whose tastes had long been refined, King Leodegrance's food could hardly be called "palatable" at best, it was barely edible.

So, out of politeness, they sampled a little before stopping.

Morgan and Lot were more concerned with the military strategy regarding Scotland.

Placing her fork down, Morgan first glanced at Scáthach, then at King Leodegrance, before speaking:

"Let's discuss our next move in Scotland. I intend to unify the region. Do you have any suggestions?"

"Oh? So you're just assuming I'll help you conquer Scotland?"

Scáthach tilted her head slightly at Morgan's words.

"Hey, aren't you my sister?"

Hearing this, Morgan immediately put on an exaggerated expression of shock.

"Just how thick-skinned have you become? And who on earth did you learn that from?"

Scáthach couldn't help but retort.

As she spoke, she turned her head slightly, casting a meaningful glance at Lot.

Her expression said it all.

The others also couldn't help but look at Lot.

Lot froze mid-motion.

[Huh? I'm an honest and pure-hearted man why are you all looking at me like that?]

"Pfft" Morgan couldn't hold back a laugh.

This husband of hers really has no shame.

"Alright, alright, sister. If you keep staring at my husband like that, I might get jealous."

After saying this, Morgan turned back to Scáthach.

"Now, about unifying Scotland. Once that's done, I can help you in turn."

"You make it sound like this is for my benefit, when it's clearly to your own advantage."

Scáthach rolled her eyes but then relented.

"Fine, you're not wrong. Then let me think of a plan for you."

"Mm."

Morgan listened attentively.

No one present understood the Scots better than Scáthach.

At the same time, she also paid attention to Lot's thoughts, curious about his perspective.

After a moment of contemplation, Scáthach spoke:

"Since you're here, I suggest holding a grand martial tournament for warriors before launching any military campaigns."

"And then ambush them all in one sweep?"

Lot asked curiously.

[Hmm, Scáthach's idea seems a bit risky. What if we don't capture them all? Wouldn't that just incite even fiercer resistance? Unless… she plans to help us trap them?]

Morgan's eyes brightened at the thought.

With Scáthach's assistance, such a plan would indeed be foolproof.

"I was wrong. I thought Morgan had already learned most of your shamelessness, but now I see she hasn't even grasped the basics. Just how black-hearted must you be to come up with something so contrary to the Knight's Vow?!"

Scáthach facepalmed.

"What I meant was you must prove Camelot's martial prowess before all of Scotland. Only then will they submit willingly. The Scots may not be natural rulers, but they are born warriors. They instinctively yield to strength."

"Ah, I see."

Morgan nodded, though she still seemed a little disappointed.

Seeing her expression, Scáthach's lips twitched.

You

You were totally considering it, weren't you?!
